I visited Karuizawa during the cold winter. Since the hotel I stayed at did not include breakfast, I searched for nearby places offering a delicious morning meal and found this restaurant at the hotel.
Although the website mentioned they opened at 8 AM, I confirmed by phone that they actually start at 7:30 AM, so I arrived right at that time.
The menu features American breakfast and pancakes, and I decided to order the pancakes this time. Coffee is included and they offer free refills.
The pancakes were fluffy, soft, and quite delightful. The coffee was freshly brewed and aromatic, making for a very elegant breakfast in Karuizawa. I highly recommend this place.
