Since I had a little extra time, I strolled around Karuizawa Station.
I decided to stop by this cafe on the 3rd floor, Cafe & Dining FERMATA.
Around Karuizawa Station, there are mainly dining facilities at the outlets, and there aren't many restaurants at the station itself, so this place is perfect for time management.
After finishing our shopping for souvenirs, we thought about having something cool to drink and visited.
As a cafe, they have a good selection of meal options, including rice bowls, sandwiches, curry, hot dogs, soba, and beverages.
They also have wine, but we opted for the local beer: Karuizawa Ale and Dark.
The ale was refreshing and quite delicious. Compared to the rich flavor of the dark, I preferred the ale.
Since it was peak summer vacation season in Karuizawa, many visitors to the cafe were also like us, dragging their carry-ons, so it wasn't a quiet atmosphere. However, you can sit down and spend your waiting time, and grab a simple meal, making it a worthwhile escape, especially during the cold winter or hot summer seasons.
The prices were reasonable, and they also offer take-out, so it may be the perfect place for managing your time.
We enjoyed our visit and it was a great meal. Thank you!
