I had a quick drink and didn't want to go home just yet. I wasn't in the mood for the usual bars, so I thought it would be interesting to try a bar I happened to pass by. I had heard of it before but had never entered, so tonight was a first. As a malt whiskey enthusiast, I wondered if I would find some good whiskey here.
Once seated at the counter, the master explained the system of the bar. I started with Glen Moray 12 Year Old, a brand not particularly well-known from Speyside, Scotland. The aroma is not very smoky; instead, it hints of oak and dryness. Upon tasting, the flavors spread nicely in a well-balanced manner, with a slight sweetness followed by a dry finish that is relatively short. Not bad at all. I then tried two types of cask.
