「賣茶翁」の和菓子を食べてみたが得心が得られず、いくらか歩けばこの店に到達することを調べていたので行ってみた。
この店の上生はいくらか大振りで、少しピンとこない感じがしたが、食べてみるととてもよくできていることが分かった。
きんとんは豆の香りが十分にあり、餅の表面を黒ゴマで包んだものは比較対照しては何だが、実によくできている。
そして、和菓子にしてはいくらか個性が強いような気がするがとても美味しい。
栗きんとんは季節をとらえてしっかりと栗の風味が感じられる。
君時雨も大胆で面白い。
全体的にみると男性的でおおらかな感じがして斬新な上生といった感じだ。
