Verde

A retro cafe founded in 1981, located along the main street by the west exit of Ebisu Station.

The interior is simple and has the warmth of wood. In the quiet space with no background music, you can really focus on coffee brewed with a nel drip (cloth filter drip).

A popular menu item is the master's Homemade chiffon cake.

There are about 2〜5 flavors available each day, and it is served with fresh cream. It has a soft, light texture and a gentle sweetness, they say.

The coffee lineup is extensive, ranging from blends to straight coffee.

The "Tanzania Kilimanjaro AA" is a cup with a firm bitterness and a rich aroma that fills your mouth, and you can enjoy the lingering finish as well.

・No-bake cheesecake
The no-bake cheesecake has a simple, gentle flavor that you only get from something homemade. It has a smooth texture, with rich cheese flavor yet a light finish, and it pairs perfectly with coffee.

The chiffon cake was light, easy to eat, and not at all powdery—it was really delicious. It was so good that I ate it very carefully because I didn’t want to drop even a single crumb, and I didn’t want it to disappear as I kept eating〜

Cafe Tram

A retro cafe on the second floor of a building just off Komazawa-dori.

The slightly dim interior with a vintage feel has counter and table seating. It is a compact space where you can relax and spend your time however you like.

The coffee is served freshly ground and freshly brewed. They use organically grown beans imported through fair trade.

Another nice touch is that you can choose between two kinds, gokufukairi (very dark roast) and chuuiri (medium roast), to match your mood that day.

The “orange peel chocolate” is made by coating orange peel with chocolate that is not too sweet.

The rich depth of the chocolate is layered with the fresh tartness of the orange peel, leaving a clean finish.

I ordered coffee from Timor-Leste, and it had a fruity taste that I’d recommend even to people who don’t usually like coffee. It was full at 3 p.m. on Sunday, but table turnover was good.

氷川参道

I had drip coffee (Ecuador) and house-made pudding. The coffee was good, with a nice balance of bitterness and acidity. The house-made pudding was firm and had a great texture. The caramel was also just right. It paired very well with the coffee.

Binya Coffee Ten Ebisu Ten

This cafe is a 3-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Ebisu Station.

They say classical music plays softly inside. In the calm space decorated with antique cups, you can relax and forget the noise of the city.

For the soft serve, you can choose from two flavors: mocha and vanilla.

The mocha is made with house-roasted coffee beans. It is extracted and blended to pair well with the soft serve, giving it a pleasantly bitter taste.

They use Special green coffee beans for their coffee and slowly roast them over binchotan (high-grade white charcoal).

Each cup is brewed with careful attention to temperature and proportions, offering a nice balance of bitterness and richness with a deep flavor.

いちごめろんらいち

This retro kissaten (Japanese-style coffee shop) is within walking distance of Ebisu Station♪ Lots of teacups were lined up, giving it a stylish atmosphere. I ordered the cheek meat beef stew bread set. It came piping hot! The meat fell apart easily and was so tender that it hardly needed a knife or even teeth.

Inside, antique sofas line the room, and custom-made wall art decorates the space. (Each) seat is lit by candlelight, creating a dreamy atmosphere.

This is the Kurumi (walnut) Rich Chocolate Brownie with crispy chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.

This is a dessert plate where you can enjoy the combination of cold ice cream and warm brownie. The texture of the kurumi and the fresh aroma of orange peel add a nice accent.

At lunchtime, they serve pasta and daily changing plates.

The photo shows the lunch menu item “shirasu (whitebait) and broccoli tomato Genovese pasta.” People say the thin noodles are coated generously with the rich sauce, making it very tasty.

Anarogu Cafe Raunji Tokyo

This retro cafe dining spot is on the 4th floor of a building.

Open the wooden door, and you will find a warm and relaxing space. The seating is laid out with plenty of room, centered around sofa seats, and they also have Semi-private room options partitioned with ranma (transom panels) and fusuma (sliding doors).

The “Brulee Basque Cheesecake” is a dish where you can enjoy the harmony of the cheese’s saltiness and the sweetness of the brulee.

The surface is nicely caramelized, giving it a fragrant flavor. When you dig in with a spoon, rich cheesecake melts out from inside.

The lunch menu includes both regular items and weekly specials.

The most popular item is the "Hamburger Steak with seared mozzarella and fresh tomato." The rich flavor of the meat goes well with the creamy taste of the mozzarella cheese.

自由人@全国グルメ食べ歩き

This cafe lounge near the station has a relaxed space centered around sofa seating, with subdued lighting. This time, I ordered a hot coffee. It had a clean bitterness and rich body, and the smooth finish with no off flavors stood out.

あきちゃ0923

Wanting to visit a stylish cafe❗️I headed to Anarogu Cafe Lounge Tokyo. It is in a building a little away from Ebisu Station, and many people were there for lunch as well. I was in the mood for something seriously sweet, so I ordered gateau chocolate and lemonade. It went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream, the sweetness was just right, and I was very Manzoku.

Kissa Ginza

This retro cafe was established in 1962.

From food to desserts, it has a full lineup of classic kissaten (Japanese coffee shop) menu items. Inside, red sofas and wooden tables line the space, and it is sometimes used as a filming location for TV dramas and movies.

The lunch menu item "Showa no Napolitan" comes with salad and a drink.

The Napolitan is loaded with ingredients such as green peppers and bacon. The tomato ketchup coats the noodles well, and it is also said to taste great with grated cheese and Tabasco.

This is the "chocolate parfait." Whipped cream is piped around the chocolate-coated ice cream as if to surround it.

It has a Homemade feel, and is said to be irresistibly good for anyone with a sweet tooth.

The wiener coffee had an exquisite balance of pleasant bitterness and mellow cream, making it a comforting drink to relax with. With time passing quietly around you, this is a lovely place where you can fully enjoy the charm of a retro kissaten (Japanese-style coffee shop).

やすぼうし

Cream soda. The green is beautiful. The ice cream feels nostalgic. It makes you feel like you've time-slipped all at once. Ginza in Ebisu, just as expected. You forget about time. I love the town of Ebisu. A place where I’d like to settle down.

Coffee Kazoku

A retro cafe founded in 1975, located on the first basement floor of a multi tenant building. Run by a family, it has a warm and homey atmosphere that makes it especially appealing.

The walls inside are lined with paintings and handwritten menus, and the space lets you relax at ease and forget the bustle of the city.

The “coffee jelly” is topped with banana and ice cream, and it stands out for its parfait-like look.

The coffee used for the jelly is left to rest overnight before being extracted by drip brewing.

The Breakfast set that comes with a mini salad is also popular.

The "A Set" is an open faced sandwich with egg and bacon, and the mild egg pairs well with the salty bacon. The bread is cut thick, making it satisfyingly filling.

Casual Gourmet Quest

The coffee jelly and the coffee itself were both really good, better than expected, but more than anything, I thought the warm and gentle service that only a family-run place can offer was wonderful. After payment, they said “Take care” to every customer.

すず︎☺︎

What I ordered was a mild blend coffee and pudding. The coffee had a rich flavor without the bitterness or acidity standing out too much, and it was smooth and tasty. The pudding was firm! I like firm pudding, so that made me happy. And the custard was not too sweet, which made it really good.

A retro cafe founded in 1978. Along with carefully hand-dripped coffee, you can also enjoy the food menu.

The interior stands out for its brick walls. Light pours in through the large windows, making it such a comfortable place that you will want to stay awhile.

The "Cake Set" seems to be popular.

You choose one item you like from the daily cakes lined up in the showcase, and they also offer seasonal limited-time cakes. For the set drink, you can choose either coffee or tea.

A Breakfast-only menu is also available.

The "B set" in the photo is a one-plate meal with a muffin, salad, and banana. The muffin is filled with ham and cheese, and it is served piping hot.

Blink165

A kissaten (Japanese-style coffee shop) I happened to stop by after the meal. The calm lighting and softly playing jazz feel nice. I sat at the counter and ordered a café au lait. The mellow milk and the toasty aroma of the coffee gently wrap around that Manpuku feeling after the meal.

It was a lovely coffee shop that stayed uncrowded even at night, with a calm and grown-up atmosphere. The relaxed setting made it a great place to spend quiet time alone, which I really appreciated.

・Iced cafe latte
What stands out from the first sip is the coffee’s own toasty aroma and deep richness. It has a mellow side within the bitterness, and even when mixed with milk, the character of the beans still comes through clearly. The finish is clean, and even with the low sweetness, it has a satisfying taste. I could really feel the quality of the carefully brewed coffee.
