Akamatsu

This cafe is run by Akamatsu Bokujou (Akamatsu Farm), which raises more than 600 dairy cows. It is located a 3-minute drive from Takamatsu Airport.

The open terrace seats look out over peaceful countryside scenery, giving the place an airy and relaxing feel.

Akamatsu's gelato uses plenty of milk from healthy cows. It is said you can enjoy the refined sweetness that only fresh milk can offer.

Menu items like the "gelato shake" and "gelato sundae" are also popular.

In addition to the standard milk flavor, the gelato comes in many seasonal limited-time varieties. There are also options made with local ingredients, such as sudachi (Japanese citrus) from Kagawa Prefecture and Kiyomi orange.

There are three sizes: single, double, and triple. You can choose either a cup or a cone.

トラコスキー

This seems to be a gelato shop run directly by a farm, and they have more than 10 kinds of gelato, including milk. They all looked great, but I went with a simple combination of milk and cafe au lait. Enjoying the gelato on the outdoor terrace while taking in the feel and scent of the farm made it extra special.

There was a cow right in front of the restaurant. I ordered a triple of rum raisin, blood orange, and kaki (persimmon). It was my first time trying kaki! It really tasted like kaki and was delicious! The rum raisin was also very well done, and I was satisfied. My companion's sudachi (Japanese citrus) had a nice punch and was great.

Machi no Schule 963 Cafe

Marugamemachi in central Takamatsu is a lively area known for Takamatsu Marugamemachi Shotengai (Takamatsu Marugamemachi Shopping Street). This open terrace cafe is located in Marugamemachi.

It is a 15-minute walk from JR Takamatsu Station, on the second floor of Takamatsu Marugamemachi Sanbangai Higashikan (Takamatsu Marugamemachi Sanbangai East Building).

The homemade cakes are served in a style where you choose your favorite from the display case. The "baked cheesecake" in the photo is said to be a perfect match of rich sweetness and a moist texture.

Original menu items combining seasonal fruits and nuts are also popular.

The lunch menu has just one option, "Shure no Lunch." It makes generous use of ingredients unique to Sanuki and seasonal ingredients.

Many reviews say they were happy to get so many vegetable side dishes. You can add an extra charge to make it a cake set.

ミカンのきもち

・Shure's lunch
It seems the contents change between the first and second half of the month. The main changing fried item is tasty, and it was my first time trying pear dressing on the side salad ✨️The small side dishes also had that extra touch and were so good (*´༥`*)ウマウマ. Even the satsumaimo (sweet potato) rice felt seasonal, and it turned into a lovely, Manzoku lunch ♡

エロテロ

I was able to take a good break with delicious baked cheesecake and coffee in a cozy, relaxing space✨Anyway, it’s a lifestyle shop with a really nice atmosphere, so I think you can enjoy lots of things here, like looking for gifts or taking a break.

CREER COFFEE

A 10-minute walk from Kotoden Ota Station, this cafe stands in a residential neighborhood. Its exterior has a very stylish Western-style house design with white as the main color.

The open terrace seats are often full as well, so visiting early is recommended.

At this restaurant, the popular menu item is the whole wheat and buttermilk pancakes. They are said to have a rich whole wheat flavor and a light, airy texture that keeps you coming back for more.

They also offer seasonal limited-time pancakes made with fruits, nuts, and other ingredients that are in season.

For the "This Week's Deli Lunch," you can choose either mugi-gohan (barley rice) or bread. It is said to be gently seasoned to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients.

The "Combo Lunch," where you can enjoy both lasagna and deli items, is also recommended.

寛ちゃん君

Just like in the photo, the pancakes are made with whole wheat flour, so they may have a richer aroma than ones made with regular flour⁉️The ice cream is additive free, so even now, it feels good to eat it with peace of mind.

・Today’s deli lunch plate
The main dish was Kara-age topped with tartar sauce. The tartar sauce is probably homemade. It was really good! I also liked the potato salad with basil. I want to try making this at home too.

The curry with Wagyu had a gentle heat and was delicious, with a nice spice flavor. The cheesecake was also the rich, cheesy kind that I really like! It was very good.

えびちょんぱ

I had the matcha pancakes. They come topped with a large piece of gyuhi (soft rice cake), so they are quite filling. Still, the pancakes are light and airy! The matcha sauce was not too heavy either, and I ended up enjoying plenty of it with the pancakes. It does make for sweet × sweet, but I ordered a banana juice as my drink. It was fresh and tasty.

It was such nice weather, so we visited with our dog. The terrace seating had a nice breeze and felt great✨I had the Thai-style fried rice set meal. It felt more like fried rice from a Japanese-Chinese food place than Thai-style fried rice(笑). But it was still delicious♥

美食舞妓

・Ham Salad Roti Set
The texture is much chewier and more substantial than a sweet crepe batter◎As for the filling, it is really just ham and cabbage rather than a ham salad. It has a very familiar taste, maybe from using Thousand Island dressing♬More than anything, the fragrant dough is not too thick, making it just right for Breakfast♡

I had the roast pork and Bolognese pasta for lunch〜. The pork, which can often turn dry, was moist here, and the sweet-savory sauce went really well with the rice. The pasta came in a tomato-based sauce with spinach and carrots, so it was a nice dish that let me get some vegetables too. The salad was fresh as well.

たかまつせんいち

A one plate lunch that comes with potato salad and soup. It has multigrain rice and plenty of brightly colored salad (*^^)vThe garlic shrimp is nice, with plump springy shrimp and just the right amount of garlic flavor. The potato salad on the side is really good too (*´з`)I love potato salad

Poemu is a cute log cabin-style cafe. I visited at lunchtime. I heard they are not offering the daily time lunch now, so I ordered the yaki curry (baked curry). The curry was easy to eat, not too spicy or sweet, and the generous cheese was baked just right, making it very tasty.

It had a refined feel, and rather than being an everyday kind of place, it gave us a bit of a travel mood and a special time away from the ordinary♪In the detached ochashitsu (tea room), we took our time enjoying the meal, and for dessert, there was pudding and chiffon cake that the children love❣️They were served with fruit on the side, which made them very happy

There is a wide variety, and it feels very Manzoku. The plates and presentation were beautiful too. After the meal, you can choose either coffee or black tea. From the seats, you can look out over the Setonaikai (Seto Inland Sea), and since it was sunny, we could even see Kankakei Gorge on Shodoshima (Shodo Island).

This is a Starbucks on Sunflower-dori (Sunflower Street). It has a drive-through, and there is plenty of parking space.
