Crown Hamburgers AND DONUTS

Crown Hamburgers AND DONUTS, about a 13-minute walk from Meitetsu Gifu Station, is a shop specializing in hamburgers and donuts. It stands along Kandamachi-dori, Gifu City's main street that stretches north from the north exit of Gifu Station.

The interior has a woody feel. Takeout is also available, and if you dine in, it seems like a nice place to enjoy a relaxed meal or cafe time.

Inside the display case, more than 10 kinds of donuts are lined up, and on some days the popular ones sell out early.

There are also eat-in-only donut menu items that are hearty enough for a meal, topped with melted cheese and bacon.

The burgers stand out for their house-made buns and 100% beef patties, which they cook using the smash method, pressing them down firmly on the griddle.

You can enjoy all kinds of burgers, from the classic version with tomato and lettuce to ones with shredded French fries sandwiched inside and more filling options.

I was craving something sweet, so I wandered around the shopping street. Then I found donuts. It seems burgers are the main thing here, but the shop also had a lineup of tasty-looking donuts inside^_^I got the pistachio donut for JPY400 and the cacao white chocolate Lotus for JPY400 for Takeout. Both were big and satisfying, and they were so good and comforting.

The donuts are freshly fried in the shop every morning, with a wide variety to choose from! They are light and fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The hamburgers are also excellent, made with house made buns and 100% beef patties, then carefully grilled on a Teppan-yaki griddle! The drink menu is now even more extensive, making this a great spot for all kinds of occasions. Another charming shop has joined Yanagase♪

I didn’t know donuts like these existed! I thought they were lovely. I think people would be happy to get them as a gift. When I actually tried one, it was delicious, and the texture was enjoyable too, so I ended up ordering some to take home as well. The sweetness felt refined. I think that comes from the careful selection of ingredients.

The shop is small, but you can watch them decorate the donuts in cute ways, which seems like something kids would really enjoy. This time I ordered a kinako (roasted soybean flour) donut, and that donut was also very tasty!! The staff were also very friendly, and I think it’s a really nice shop!

I thought it might feel awkward to ask for a refill if it was crowded, but the staff came around to the table about twice, so I could easily ask for one. Since the Angel Cream was sweet, I had all of my milk tea without sugar. I usually only get Takeout, but when I want to stay and relax over tea, I’d like to come to Misudo again.

All you can eat at Misdo! They were running this dream like deal at the restaurant nearest me, so I went to check it out! There are various rules, but in the end, as long as you don't leave anything, it's basically OK! At regular prices, it quickly goes over JPY1800, so I don't think you'll lose out. In the end, I had 16 donuts and 3 drinks, so I guess it was about JPY3000? Yeah, total Manzoku!
