I usually go for sweet pies, but this time I tried a meat pie! It had fluffy potatoes on top of the pie crust, chunky ground meat, something like corned beef on top, and cheese, and it showed me that savory pies can be really delicious too.

The croissant soft serve caught my eye, so I ordered it, and it really hit the spot after walking so much and getting tired. It was also a very warm day, so I had it at a terrace seat, and with a coffee in the sun, I was able to spend a very relaxing time.

りな 食べログ (カフェ多め)

A lot of people were ordering the croissant, but I ordered the pain au chocolat. This pastry was really good, with a crisp texture and chocolate inside that was just the right softness! It was so tasty that I thought the croissant must be good too! I was also happy to see drinks like lemon squash and melon soda on the menu!

The pancake (banana whipped cream + chocolate sauce) is quite a bit bigger than expected. The whipped cream piled high in the center like a mountain really stands out, and it goes well with the banana and chocolate, but both the sweetness and the volume are pretty substantial. Even shared between two people, it feels Manzoku.

We ordered pasta and curry. I went with the beef tendon curry, and it was far more authentic than I expected. It seemed to bring out the rich flavor of the beef tendon while adding spices. I highly recommend it. The pasta was properly al dente! This goes well beyond the level you would expect from a cafe lunch.

The kogane melon pan (golden melon bread) seems to be available in limited quantities. It was delicious, crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and nicely toasted. The ebi renkon (shrimp and lotus root) was also tasty, with a spicy filling sauce flavored with garlic and basil, plus the nice texture of the shrimp and lotus root.

The bread is soft and fluffy, with a taste that feels somehow nostalgic. The ebi renkon (shrimp and lotus root) is a nicely balanced savory bread, and the tamago pan (sweet egg bread) is gently sweet and comforting too. It was a bakery with a warm, gentle feel, just right for everyday snacks or a light meal♪

Unlike the city center, one nice thing is that it does not get that crowded. I paired a hojicha (roasted green tea) latte iced with a strawberry tart. The terrace seats also feel really nice when the weather is good.

But when you look at the taste, portion size, and price, I think Starbucks' cinnamon roll is a great value. I have them warm it up, and it's also nice how the syrup seems to melt out from the center with the heat! Please give it a try.
