It is near Saidai-ji and both the atmosphere and location are very nice. I ate inside the shop. The cheesecake was light and airy and melted in my mouth. It was not too sweet or too rich, and I finished it with ease. It has also been selected as a Tabelog 100 shop, and the pastry chef trained in France makes it. It is very delicious!!

・Gâteau Fraise
When you put in your fork, it is far, far softer than you would expect. The cream, and the sponge underneath, are both amazingly soft and moist. And it feels so smooth in the mouth that it almost melts.

・Emera
There was no extra sweetness or over the top richness at all, just a delicate, airy, simple sponge with a light cream that had a faint sweetness. The seasonal fruit was also fresh and juicy, adding a nice accent. It was a cake with a gentle, somehow nostalgic taste!

The cute "Kuuki Cake" is available in daily varieties such as plain, orange, and chocolate. Both the sponge and the cream are said to be as light as air.

The "Kuuki Roll" is also very fluffy and soft, with a texture that makes its name feel fitting.
The cream inside has a light sweetness that never feels heavy, and the sponge cake has a clear eggy richness. You can buy it not only by the slice but also as a whole roll. It also makes a great gift.

The Mont Blanc cream is mildly sweet, letting the ingredients’ natural flavor shine, and it pairs well with coffee. The interior has a calm atmosphere, and I think it’s the kind of place that’s perfect when you want to relax and enjoy a slow snack time.

・Air Cake
On this day, they had plain, matcha, blueberry, and Kotoka ichigo (Kotoka strawberry). The sponge has lots of air pockets and is very soft, so it is fluffy enough to squash down with just one finger. The cream is not heavy either, so you can finish it in one or two bites.

A cake shop about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, known for its popular cheesecake.

Among the many cakes, the most popular is said to be the sake based cheesecake, with purchases limited to up to 2 per family.
The batter is blended with sakekasu (sake lees), so you can enjoy a soft aroma of sake. Even though the cheese is rich, some say it still tastes light and refreshing.
Besides cakes, the "melting purin (custard pudding)" is also popular as an easy treat to enjoy. It has a light mouthfeel, so it is also recommended to have it together with cake.
Its smooth texture that seems to melt on your tongue is its hallmark, and the pleasantly jiggly texture is said to be irresistible.

It looks like a simple cake shop, but every single item is amazingly good. The fruit is fresh and plentiful. Along with menu items that kids would love, they also have cheesecake made with spirits and savory cheesecake to go with drinks, so adults can enjoy it too. The cream and sponge are both amazingly good, and the prices are easy on the wallet. I want to make the trip and go again.

・Cheesecake made with alcohol
The sake kasu (sake lees) flavor is rich, while the cheese taste also comes through clearly. Regular cheesecake is nice too, but this one is good in its own way. The sake kasu used here is excellent, and it feels like a flavor you can only get here. The size is on the smaller side, but it is dense, so it is highly satisfying.

Plain and apple caramel. The texture is moist and smooth, almost like rare cheesecake (no-bake cheesecake). The sweetness is mild, and it goes well with something like a highball. The staff also offered samples, and the shop had a nice feel. It was a great meal.

A cake named after the shop. The top 80% is cheese-flavored cream and mousse... or maybe cream, haha. It has a slightly tangy, cheese-like taste. The strawberry jam is also not too sweet and very tasty. The sponge cake on the bottom is moist and soft, with a refined feel. It is like something you might find in a roll cake.
