I visited Junberry Cafe in search of strawberries! It was a little past the peak season, but they still had strawberries! I went with a plate of matcha crepe, matcha ice cream, and strawberries, and the balance of sweetness and tartness was so good that I finished it in no time! I’ll be back!

The restaurant was almost full inside. It stayed lively the whole time, and I was Surprising at how incredibly fast the food came out.The salad had amazing volume. It was bigger in real life than it looked in the photos.It was just right for a late breakfast and lunch combo! With this much volume, it was reasonably priced, the vegetables were good too, and it was excellent!!

The fruit sandwich we had this time had one standout feature above all: the fruit made an overwhelming impression! As you would expect from a cafe run by a greengrocer, the seasonal fruit was all fresh and juicy, with surprisingly rich flavor. The cream had just the right amount of sweetness to support it, and the balance with the soft, fluffy bread was spot on, so with every bite your mouth filled with happiness.

I visited in autumn too. I came back again in spring. Last time it was cold and the cafe is in the mountains, so I stayed inside, but on warm days the terrace seats are the way to go. We had Kofuku-gori, fig kakigori (shaved ice), and Okazaki Ohan pizza. I wondered with one bite whether cocoa would go with yuzuki, but it was more refreshing and tasty than I expected. The fig ice came not only with plenty of sweet figs, but also nata de coco. The pizza was topped with lots of chicken soboro (ground chicken) flavored with aka miso (red miso). Everything was very good.
