Multiple reviews describe it as a stylish hideaway bistro. It seems to be a comfortable place that makes you want to come back.
The signature dish is the “Wagyu tail grill,” made with the tail of the cow. It is meltingly tender, with rich flavor spreading across your palate, and it pairs perfectly with alcohol.

Another highlight is that you can enjoy top quality lean cuts from A5 rank Wagyu, as well as venison steak that is stress-free and carefully prepared.
They are also known for a lineup of dishes that go great with drinks, such as corned beef packed with the rich flavor of tail meat and pasta topped with tail meat simmered in red wine until tender.

The beef tail and Wagyu steak plate is excellent. Since the size of each beef tail varies, the volume of the steak also changes depending on the size. The beef tail is so tender that it comes right off the bone. The Wagyu steak is also cooked perfectly. Paired with wasabi and fresh black pepper, it goes great with drinks.

Niku Bistro Tomoshibi is a bistro where you can enjoy various kinds of block meat and a wide selection of wine. It is located on the second floor of a building, about a 7-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
The space has stone floors, wooden tables, warm lighting, and a hideaway feel. There are casual counter seats, box seats, and Private room seating as well.
Photograph:なかし_1040
The signature “katariniku assortment” features everything from standard choices like beef, pork, and kamo (duck) to game meats such as venison and inoshishi (wild boar). A key feature is that the thick cuts are grilled bone-in over high quality binchotan (premium white charcoal).
The surface is nicely browned, while the inside is moist and juicy.
Photograph:ひたろーちゃん
Part of the restaurant includes a kagitsuki no wain soko (locked wine cellar). Guests can go inside with a lantern in hand and enjoy the fun experience of picking the wine they want to drink.
Like a wine shop, it is lined with more than 100 kinds of wine. Descriptions of the wines are also provided, which makes them easy to choose.
gourmet style
In a stylish space, enjoy charcoal grilled cuts of meat and red wine. The lineup includes beef, pork, lamb, and even game such as venison. What is especially fun is the “wine selection.” You step into a dim wine cellar and pick one bottle from more than 150 options with a lantern in hand. It feels like a small attraction, and that is part of the charm because even the time spent choosing wine becomes an enjoyable part of the experience.

This restaurant, tucked away on the second floor of a building like a hidden retreat, lets you enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere. As the name suggests, meat dishes take center stage, with a lineup of plates that let you fully enjoy the rich flavor of lean cuts. The steak and roast dishes are especially memorable, simple yet making the most of the quality of the ingredients. They also pair well with wine, which is another part of the appeal, as you can enjoy matching it with the food.

Ginsui Fuun is a bistro located about a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station, near the Shinjuku-sanchome bus stop. It is on the first basement floor of a glass-fronted building.
The stylish space features exposed concrete walls decorated with artwork. They also have loft seating with a hideaway feel.

The restaurant is known for hearty dishes served in generous portions on each plate. It is a great place when you want to share a dish with a group and enjoy drinks in a lively atmosphere.
The pork saute, which weighs more than 450g, is another dish made for sharing with several people. It is finished with a red wine sauce so it pairs well with wine.
Photograph:みー飯
The popular course lets groups share dishes like salad and gratin while trying a variety of items. It has a reputation for being an easygoing place to eat and drink when you add the All you can drink option.
They also offer à la carte dishes and wine by the glass, so it works well for small groups or as a second stop.

This is a bistro in Shinjuku Sanchome. I visited on a weekday evening, and it was lively and bustling even at the start of the week. I recommend making a reservation. The dishes are very filling, so it is fun to visit with a group and share a variety of plates. The flavors are bold and pair well with wine, so the drinks just keep flowing.

The fresh cheese served with the bread is milky and light, with just the right balance for a starter. The omelet is softly cooked and nicely consistent. The lamb keeps its distinctive flavor in check while bringing out plenty of umami, and it pairs naturally with the seasonal vegetables. Including the drinks, the overall lineup feels nice, letting you enjoy a little bit of everything.

Bistro Kojiya is located in Shinjuku 5-chome, in Sanbangai, an area lined with bars and other spots. This bistro lets you enjoy French food in a casual setting, and both lunch and dinner are by reservation only.
The interior has a calm feel, styled in chic colors with a tasteful look. It is just right when you want to enjoy a relaxed meal with someone close.
Photograph:さとひろりん
The meal is served as an Omakase course made with seasonal ingredients. The menu changes about once a month, so you can enjoy different dishes each time you visit.
The course has a double main of fish and meat. You can enjoy each plate made to bring out the best in the ingredients.
Photograph:flowerbase
Another plus is that you can add a wine free flow to the course meal. They have red, white, and sparkling, and it also includes Nihonsan (Japanese) wine.
This place is a good pick when you want to enjoy food and wine pairings with someone who loves wine.

The stylish exterior got me excited. The dining room was small, but it was not too quiet and had just the right atmosphere. They only offer a course menu, which showed their attention to detail! The food was delicious, and the staff knew a lot about wine and recommended bottles that paired well.

旅人くに
What stood out most was the wine lineup included in the All you can drink option. There was only one sparkling wine, but they had three whites and three reds on the list, and every one of them was far better than you would expect from an All you can drink menu at this price range. It also showed how sharp the staff’s eye is when it comes to choosing wine.

Provencal 3rd is a bistro inside Shinjuku Yokocho, a cluster of about six restaurants near Shinjuku-sanchome Station, where you can enjoy sumibiyaki (charcoal grilled) dishes and wine.
The casual space is lined with yatai (food stall)-style restaurants. It mainly has counter seating, along with table seats made from wine barrels.
At the counter seats, guests can also enjoy chatting with the chef. It is also popular that sometimes the chef performs magic tricks right across the counter.
Charcoal grilled lamb and venison are popular here. One highlight is Date-dori (brand chicken), which you can enjoy casually like yakitori (grilled chicken skewers).

Experts have Special selected the cheese assortment, which is popular. They offer a plate with mild cheeses that have no strong distinctive flavor, as well as an authentic pairing that mixes in rich, aromatic cheeses and goes great with alcohol.
They also have about 10 kinds of wine, and you can casually enjoy them by the glass.
anchanfoody
Every cheese specially selected by this cheese specialty shop was delicious! It was served with fruit on the side too, and eating them together really pairs well with drinks! We also had the recommended shiro reba (white liver) grilled over a wire mesh, and that was delicious too! You can enjoy authentic charcoal grilling!

This restaurant offers casual dishes with uni (sea urchin) as the star ingredient.
The signature dish is the "uni blancmange." If you love uni, they recommend adding extra uni until it nearly spills over. A pairing set with Japanese sake made with wine yeast is also popular.
The "uni (sea urchin) cream pasta" in the photo is also popular. It is finished with a generous topping of sweet uni.
Another plus is the good selection of Japanese sake and wine that pair well with uni. The staff will also tell you which labels they recommend with the food.
Gekikara_Angel
This restaurant is very particular about its ingredients, yet it is still relatively reasonable! It was All you can drink, and they also had house-made fruit liqueurs, so the selection was very wide. The staff were warm and welcoming, and chatting with them about all kinds of things made for a really fun time♡ By the way, even though it was a weekday, the place was full by 19:00, so I think it’s best to make a reservation before visiting!

MIYOSHI@
From the moment I walked in, the staff offered great service, and even when the person I was meeting was late and I had to wait alone inside, I felt comfortable the whole time. The uni (sea urchin) served at the start of the course made a big impact, and the uni pasta at the end was just as memorable. There was also an All you can drink option, and they even suggested drinks to match the course, which made the whole experience very comfortable.

The restaurant’s name comes from roll cabbage and the oven. Its signature dish is the "roll cabbage," slowly baked in the oven.
This Special dish wraps carefully selected ground meat in cabbage leaves and simmers it slowly. It is served with a rich demi-glace sauce, and it also pairs well with wine.
Photograph:asaco1115
The demi-glace sauce is based on fond de veau made by simmering beef bones, beef tendon, aromatic vegetables, and more for over half a day. It is a sauce that also pairs well with Hamburger Steak.
You can also choose white sauce, where the aroma of spices brings out the flavor, or tomato sauce with the aroma of garlic and a bright acidity.

This restaurant is known for its roll cabbage with demi-glace sauce. I was impressed from the first bite! It was so tender it seemed like I could cut it without using a knife. The rich demi-glace sauce was a perfect match for the roll cabbage. The demi-glace sauce was so good that I also ordered the Hamburger Steak.

飲み食いアヒルの子
The menu did not have that many items, but the wine lineup had a lot of interesting choices. We ordered an Alsace Riesling for a toast♪I thought the Appetizers assortment and the Hamburger Steak were must-orders. The access is convenient, and it is an easy place to use, so I will go again if I get the chance.

Kamakura Koshitsu Bistro KAMAKURA Shinjuku Ten is located on the 7th floor of a building, about a 1-minute walk from the Shinjuku Station Shin-Minami Exit. This bistro serves creative dishes with a focus on meat dishes.
The interior is themed after kamakura (snow huts), which are made by piling up snow in snowy regions. Every seat is a Semi-private room, making it perfect for meals with people close to you.

Another reason for this restaurant's popularity is its many dishes with cute presentation and a sense of entertainment.
Its specialty is the "Flaming Hamburger Steak," and the performance of lighting the rosemary on fire when it is served has become a hot topic. Reviews also said it creates a live feel as the herb aroma and flames spread, offering not just great taste but high visual Manzoku as well.

The drink menu has a great selection of colorful fruit-based drinks. They also offer non-alcoholic versions.
They fill the glass with plenty of fruit and then pour in sparkling wine right in front of you, a nice touch that gets good reviews as well.

Many of the dishes paid close attention even to the presentation, and it was so much fun♪The flaming Hamburger Steak was really set on fire right in front of us, the grilled rare cheesecake was finished right in front of us, and the otoshi (small appetizer) looked like a treasure chest!!It was so much fun just to look at, too〜!!Of course, the taste was great as well^ ^

Buan is about a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station. This restaurant is known for its wide selection of wines from around Japan and its delicious bistro dishes that pair perfectly with them.
The interior has the warm feel of brick and wood. Since it is a popular spot, reservations are recommended for both lunch and dinner.

At the back of the restaurant, there is a walk-in wine cellar. More than 300 kinds of Domestic wine sourced from all over Japan are lined up, and one of the pleasures here is taking a bottle in hand and spending time choosing one that suits your taste.
They also offer wine by the glass, so it is perfect when you just want a little drink.

At the back of the restaurant, there is a tightly packed lineup of ambitious wineries' bottles sourced from Japan and abroad, and you can peek inside and open a bottle of any wine you like. We opened about 3 bottles of wine as a group, ate and drank well, and at this price range, it felt like very good value.

Marugo Grande is a restaurant located near Exit B2 of Shinjuku-sanchome Station. Its concept is “You can drink lightly and eat well” and “You can drink well and eat lightly.”

There is also a slightly dim basement floor with a nice mood, where you can casually enjoy wine and food at the counter table.
It has the casual feel of a bistro, while also serving authentic Italian cuisine. Popular dishes include prosciutto and squid ink risotto.
They are said to stock about 3000 bottles of wine from around the world. Even just the wines available by the glass, there are about 30 types that change daily.
They also offer sparkling wine and orange wine, so you can enjoy trying small amounts and comparing them to find your favorites.
なーりゃん4438
The first floor is a standing bar area with a lively atmosphere full of office workers stopping by after work. As you pass through and head downstairs, the rows of bottles lined up in the wine cellar make you stop without thinking, offering a little visual treat. In contrast, the basement has a calm atmosphere, with a quietness that makes it hard to believe it is the same place. This contrast feels especially nice.
