I went back and forth, but in the end I ordered jasmine tea and Berigoru. The cake had a really nice combination of pistachio cream and strawberries. It also used plenty of strawberries, so the satisfaction level was high. The shop was bright and the seats were spacious, so I think it is a good place to enjoy a relaxing tea time.

Pierre Joseph has an elegant taste, with cognac liqueur spreading through the mouth. The rich cacao gives it a grown-up flavor with a nice balance of sweetness and slight bitterness. I like the moist texture of the cake. The iced coffee is quite strong. It is on the heavy side, but it pairs wonderfully with the cake, and together they felt like just the right Combo.

I ordered this shop’s recommended Crepes Suzette, Napoleon pie, and strawberry shortcake. Both the Napoleon pie and the shortcake had a refined sweetness that was just right. They prepared the Crepes Suzette right in front of the table. The flambé was fun to watch. The flavor was complex too, with not just strawberries but liqueur and other ingredients as well.
