Fukuoka Prefecture [Fukuoka City] Gyudon (beef Rice bowl)!

"Kakiyasu Gyumeshi Ippin-dori Ten" is a beef bento specialty shop directly connected to Hakata Station.
There is no eat-in space inside, and the glass display case is lined with Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) gyudon (beef Rice bowl) and deli items, offering both quality and convenience.
Photograph:リオレーナ
A popular menu item with many repeat customers is the “Kuroge Wagyu Gyumeshi (black Wagyu beef rice bowl).”
It is said to have an excellent balance between the rich flavor of the beef and the warishita (sukiyaki-style sauce), and it is known for tasting good even when cold. The burdock root and onions packed between the beef and rice are said to add a nice accent.
Photograph:aisugoko
The "sukiyaki-ju (stacked sukiyaki rice box)" here is also recommended. It is a luxurious type packed tightly with beef, vegetables, and tofu.
The carefully prepared sukiyaki is said to be so delicious that you cannot stop eating, with the flavor thoroughly soaked into the tofu and negi (Japanese leek).

・Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) Beef Rice Bowl
The sweet simmered meat releases the sweetness of its good fat with every bite, and it goes perfectly with the rice. Sweet x sweet, but it is not too heavy. That may be because burdock root and onion are spread between the meat and the rice. I finished it in no time, and it was a highly satisfying bento.

路地裏ごはん録
Starting with the classic gyumeshi (beef rice bowl), along with rich ebi-mayo (shrimp with mayonnaise) and mildly spicy yangnyeom chicken that keeps you coming back for more, every item is good enough to be the star. It is a luxurious lineup that lives up to the name of a “dream collaboration” of popular side dishes. The side dishes, including harusame salad and agebitashi nasu (deep-fried eggplant soaked in broth), were also well balanced, so I enjoyed it all the way to the end without getting tired of it.

About a 3-minute walk from Tenjin Station, Gyushin Shokudo Tenjin Ten is located on B2F of the Solaria Stage specialty shopping floor in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, and is known for its delicious beef Rice bowl and katsudon (pork cutlet Rice bowl).
The interior has a simple diner-style design, and one of its appeals is that even solo diners can drop in with ease.
Photograph:スローな
The simple but highly satisfying "beef Rice bowl" is recommended for first time visitors!
The beef and onions are slowly simmered in a slightly sweet soy-based broth, then served in such a generous assortment that you can hardly see the rice underneath. Adding a raw egg gives it more richness and makes it even tastier.
Photograph:mack03
The hearty "Chicken Nanban set meal" is also one of the popular menu items.
The chicken is fried to a crisp, fragrant finish, while the inside stays moist, tender, and juicy. The balance of the sweet vinegar sauce and tartar sauce is just right, and it is said to make the rice disappear in no time.
くまだくまのすけ
This long established restaurant is a good choice when you want a solid meal quickly. There is also counter seating, so it is easy to visit alone. Rice bowls such as gyudon (beef bowl) and katsudon (pork cutlet bowl with egg) are popular, but I chose the nikudofu (beef and tofu stew) set meal. The amount of tofu was more than I imagined, which was Surprising. The sweet and savory beef belly and tofu went so well with the generous rice that I finished it with ease. It was a great meal!

A classic ginger pork set meal with a bold, rich flavor! Anyone who likes strong seasoning will love this taste. The miso soup was good too◎There was ginger on top of the shogayaki (ginger pork), and it was loaded with ginger, which made it really tasty. The flavor is rich, so it goes great with rice.

The menu offers a wide range of options, from the classic gyumeshi (beef bowl) to (assorted varieties available) set meals and limited-time specials.
The "gyumeshi" is said to come in many kinds, from a simple style to versions topped with kimchi and cheese.

The "Negi-Tama Gyu-meshi (beef Rice bowl with green onions and soft-cooked egg)" is recommended for people who want to try a gyudon (beef Rice bowl) that feels a little different from the usual.
This dish pairs the crisp texture of green onions with the mellow richness of a soft-cooked egg. They say the original sauce brings out the good flavors of the ingredients.

I ordered the default gyudon (beef rice bowl), with plenty of beni shoga (pickled red ginger) and a little shichimi (seven spice chili pepper). I was happy it came with miso soup. The taste was not so much hit or miss as the usual taste. That unchanging taste is what matters. This alone is more than enough for an older guy. It was a great meal.

A few months after uma-toma (savory tomato) became a regular menu item following all the buzz it got some time ago, I finally had the chance to try it for the first time! The punch of garlic and the tang of tomato were a great match, and the cheese brought it all together with a mellow finish♪

The gyudon (beef Rice bowl), served quickly, features thinly sliced beef and onions simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, with the sharp kick of beni shoga (pickled red ginger) adding a nice accent.
It is a popular order, and some reviews say they are happy they can eat it right after arriving at Fukuoka Airport.

The "Gyudaku Gyu Ru Rou Fan Rice bowl" is a highly satisfying bowl generously topped with sweet-savory simmered meat and onions, plus plenty of Taiwan's famous lu rou (braised pork).
The rich sauce soaks into the rice, making this a limited menu item where you can enjoy a spicy flavor different from gyudon (beef bowl).

• Gyucho set (a set with regular gyudon (beef rice bowl), a mini salad, and miso soup)
At Fukuoka Airport, this place is really handy because it offers tasty food (with a reliably good flavor), quick service, and low prices (relatively speaking for inside an airport). Along with Hanamaru Udon, it is an indispensable option.

The Kara-age is pretty big and has a lot of volume♫ Plus, it tastes great! It’s well known that Yoshinoya’s Kara-age is good, right?♫ I put the small beef bowl on top of the rice, added beni shoga (pickled red ginger) too, and kept shoveling it in without stoppingー!

Located in Takasago, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka, Wagyu Don Suzu is a hideaway-style specialty restaurant with only 8 counter seats, and its signature dish is a gyudon Rice bowl served in a Gozen set style made with Kyushu kuroge wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu).
The Japanese modern interior has a calm atmosphere, making it a relaxing place to enjoy lunch.
The menu basically has just one option, the Kuroge Wagyu Gozen set.
This Rice bowl made with plenty of Kyushu-sourced Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) is said to have an excellent balance of lean meat and fat, with a meltingly tender texture. The sweet warishita sauce brings out the rich flavor that is unique to Wagyu.
Photograph:peach278
It seems they sometimes offer a limited-time Mugitoro Gozen set.
The meal comes with eight kinds of Homemade small side dishes, so you can enjoy the grated yam rice with different flavors along the way. Among them, the beef simmered in ginger soy sauce, made with the same meat used for the Wagyu Rice bowl, is said to be especially good.
First, the glossy egg yolk sitting right in the center of the Rice bowl is almost unfair. The thinly sliced kurogemowagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) is cooked just right, bringing out both the rich flavor of the lean meat and the sweetness of the fat. Once you break the yolk and mix it in, the richness jumps up at once, making this the kind of Wagyu Rice bowl that keeps you eating one bite after another. Adding wasabi gives the finish a clean, sharp edge, which also leaves a good impression by keeping it from feeling heavy all the way to the end.

The beef in the gyudon (beef Rice bowl) is made with Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) from Kyushu. Each slice of meat is so large you can’t finish it in one bite! It might even be bigger than your face? It’s so tender you can cut it with chopsticks, and it melts in your mouth. It’s packed with flavor, and since it doesn’t have too much fat, it goes down light. This is unbelievably delicious.

The butter chicken sauce curry from the commercial looked so good that I just had to try it. After walking there in the heat and entering the restaurant, I was grateful they quickly brought me a cold glass of water. I drank it in one go. The bone-in chicken was so tender it fell apart. It was not spicy, so I added some hot sauce. Be careful not to add too much.

Fukuoka Prefecture [Other Areas] Gyudon (beef Rice bowl)!
Gyu Gyu Udon is a gyudon (beef Rice bowl) specialty restaurant in Iizuka, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The lively interior has counter seating set up around the kitchen, so you can enjoy your meal while watching the cooking. It gets full at lunchtime, but the fast turnover means one of its big draws is the short wait time.

The signature "Gyudon (beef Rice bowl)" comes piled so high with sweet and savory simmered beef that it covers the entire bowl.
The balance of sweetness, saltiness, and the rich depth of soy sauce is just right, and it is said to be so good you cannot stop eating. It is also nice that you can add as much green onion and beni shoga (pickled red ginger) as you like from the table.
Photograph:雅wjfrq908
The "niku udon (beef udon)" comes topped with sweet-savory simmered beef so generously that you can barely see the soup.
The soft Fukuoka-style noodles pair well with the rich broth infused with the good flavor of the beef, and it is said to be so tasty you finish it in no time. If you add the green onions, tenkasu (tempura bits), or ichimi (ground chili pepper) from the table, you can enjoy a change in flavor too.

・Beef Rice bowl
A huge hit after a long time. This is probably one of the best gyudon (beef rice bowls) I’ve ever had. It’s very meaty, with an amazing balance of sweetness, saltiness, and soy sauce flavor. It was served about 1 minute after I ordered, which is seriously god-level. I’d also like to try the gyuniku udon (beef udon).

We ordered two items: the "Mix," which came with beef, wakame seaweed, and goboten (fried burdock tempura), and the "Gyudon" Rice bowl (we split it in half)! The udon in the light broth was also delicious, but the gyudon had a somehow nostalgic, home style flavor that reminded me of mom's cooking, and I just couldn't stop eating (っ˘ڡ˘ς)♡

The "Yakiniku set meal," made with meat delivered direct from the ranch, is another menu item with many fans.
The thick cut meat is nicely marbled, and the more you chew, the more flavor comes out. People also like that you can choose either plain white rice or kashiwa-meshi (seasoned chicken rice) with the set meal.

I ordered the gyudon (beef Rice bowl) that people said was great in the reviews☝️The meat was incredibly tender, and the sauce was just right, not too salty with soy sauce and not too sweet with sugar either. This is really good.
