Wagyu Yakiniku and Premium Beef Tongue THE BLACK BULL CLUB Takasaki Ten

"Wagyu Yakiniku to Gokujo Beef Tongue THE BLACK BULL CLUB Takasaki Ten" is a casual yet upscale Yakiniku bar about a 5-minute walk from Takasaki Station. With the theme of "More freedom in Yakiniku," it offers a new style of Yakiniku.

The interior, supervised by a well-known designer, has a stylish and calm atmosphere. It is modeled after classic old-school American dining.

The restaurant offers top quality ingredients, including Special locally sourced Joshu-gyu (Joshu beef) from Gunma and Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) from Miyazaki, personally selected by the head chef.

Popular dishes include the "Gokujo Otoro Tan" cut, taken only in very small amounts from a whole Beef Tongue, and the "Negi Tsutsumi Beef Tongue," skillfully tied by a meat specialist.

In addition to the à la carte menu, they also offer courses where you can enjoy a variety of cuts of kurokegyu (Japanese Black Wagyu).

The "niku cake" with kurokegyu meat arranged to look like roses has a big visual impact. It is said to be a great choice for birthdays and other special occasions.

しろモン

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice, and I made a reservation to celebrate my senior colleague’s 60th birthday. The meat in the course meal was very good, and the All you can drink selection was also extensive. They also prepared a dessert plate for the 60th birthday celebration, and I was really glad that my senior colleague was so happy with it!

Heart Break Kid

The thick cut Beef Tongue is a dish you should definitely order. (It is a bit pricey, but it is a dish that leaves you Manzoku.) I think this restaurant offers various coupons and good service. It is not noisy, and it is a good place to enjoy a relaxed meal.

Sumibi Yakiniku Horumon Shimada Takasaki Ten

"Sumibi Yakiniku Horumon Shimada Takasaki Ten" is a Yakiniku restaurant about a 10-minute walk from Takasaki Station, with grilled Horumon as its main specialty. They accept reservations for a course that lets you enjoy a well-balanced selection of recommended menu items, for groups of 4 or more.

With child chairs and zashiki (tatami seating) available, families can dine here with peace of mind.

You can enjoy fresh Horumon processed that day and Special cuts of meat grilled over charcoal and then lightly smoked with the rising smoke.

The pork Horumon comes in a wide variety. The staff are said to kindly help check the doneness and replace the grill net or charcoal when needed.

They offer happy hour and All you can drink courses, and they also have a full lineup of carefully made a la carte dishes.

The house made "Homemade 4 Kind Assortment of Namul" with bean sprouts, spinach, zenmai (royal fern), and daikon radish is made in house and goes great with beer.

黒Rabbit

We had our fill of raw Heart, raw tongue, pork kashira (head meat), pork Outside skirt, beef Outside skirt, beef kalbi (Korean-style short ribs), and more. The hoppy (shochu mixed with beer-flavored soda) and the mega highball were both great too. The staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly.

The Horumon here really has no off notes. I do not usually like pork Horumon that much, but it tastes great here! Everything feels like it is prepared with a lot of care.

Sumibi Yakiniku Horumon Kochiya

About a 6-minute walk from the West Exit of Takasaki Station, Sumibi Yakiniku Horumon Kochiya is on the second floor of the Baba Tenpo Building. This restaurant is popular for Special Yakiniku grilled over charcoal and carefully made Korean food.

Because every seat is in a Private room or Semi-private room, you can enjoy your meal without worrying about the people around you.

The popular "Hanasaki Toro Beef Tongue" features thick cut tongue root, a rare cut that can only be taken in very small amounts from each animal.

The tongue is slowly grilled over charcoal, giving it a fragrant outside and a juicy inside. It gets high marks for the great balance of rich meat flavor and just the right amount of salt.

The Horumon item "Honeycomb tripe" is a carefully made dish, simmered slowly for more than 5 hours until it turns soft and melt-in-your-mouth.

With every bite, rich flavor spreads across your mouth. It also pairs very well with rice or alcohol.

The interior is lined with chamisul (Korean distilled soju), giving it a trendy feel that would likely appeal to younger people today. As you would expect from a place that specializes in Beef Tongue, the hana-saki gyutan (crosshatched Beef Tongue) looked beautiful and was tender and tasty too.

I ordered various dishes, but the best one was the thick cut Outside skirt, which covered the whole grill. It was tender, full of rich flavor, and absolutely delicious! The Large size rice also had an impressive presence.

Sumibiyakiniku Senmitei

Sumibiyakiniku Chimitei is a restaurant where you can enjoy high quality kurogeme Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) grilled over binchotan (high grade white charcoal).

The softly lit interior has a calm atmosphere. Since every seat is in a Private room, you can relax and enjoy Yakiniku at your own pace.

All of the Japanese Black Wagyu beef they serve is graded A4〜A5. They are said to source their beef with a focus on great taste.

You can also enjoy rare cuts such as ichibo (Sirloin cap), known as the king of lean meat, Sendai-gyu zabuton (Sendai beef chuck flap), of which only a small amount can be taken from each animal, and Special Wagyu strip loin, known for its fine textured meat.

They are also particular about the quality of the binchotan (high-grade white charcoal) used to grill the meat. The infrared effect of the charcoal fire helps the premium meat cook up juicy and even more delicious.

In addition to A la carte dishes, they offer four types of course meals that come with 2 hours of All you can drink.

yama kazu

I did not know about the All you can drink set, and since we went with All you can drink tonight, I ended up drinking too much (lol) Beer and Yakiniku are still the best!!! The meat was great too, and I am glad we could relax and talk in a Private room(^^)

ぽっぽの大爆発

The ventilation inside the restaurant was very good, so smells did not cling to my coat or clothes, and it was comfortable. The Outside skirt and loin were very tasty. Also, the restaurant has a recommended dessert called Kotei no Aishita Annin Dofu (almond jelly loved by the emperor), and it was so good that it completely changed my idea of what annin dofu could be.

Sumibi-yaki Horumon Fuu

Sumibiyaki Horumon Fuu is a restaurant with a wide range of options, from Horumon to Special A5 rank Wagyu.

The restaurant uses Yakiniku ventilation ducts for constant air circulation and has equipment that provides plenty of ventilation, so even guests who are concerned about lingering smells can enjoy Yakiniku in comfort.

They use Special Japanese Black female Wagyu, selected by the owner. It is said to have a deeper flavor than male cattle.

The most popular item is the “Wagyu 3-cut assortment.” It features the best recommended cuts of the day, so it is a good choice when you are not sure what to order.

To let guests enjoy authentic charcoal grilled yakiniku, they use a shichirin (small charcoal grill) instead of gas. With charcoal grilling, you can fully enjoy the deep savory flavor of the meat.

The “Horumon Mix,” which includes 10 recommended cuts selected from beef and pork, is said to be great with both drinks and rice.

The three-cut platter had great volume, and each kind of meat was tasty, so I was very Manzoku. I especially liked the trimmed kalbi, which had a nice bite and a rich meaty flavor. Helped by how good the meat was, I added a 4th and 5th draft beer during happy hour.

トム宗太郎

It was my first visit, and I found a really great place. The seasoning on the block of Outside skirt was perfect, and I ended up ordering another serving. The gatsupon (ponzu dressed pork stomach), negi-tan (beef tongue with green onion), and namul (seasoned vegetable side dishes) were also delicious. The premium highball is recommended too.

Yakiniku Toraji Takasaki Ten

Yakiniku Toraji Takasaki Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant in a great location, directly connected to the deck at the West Exit of Takasaki Station. In a casual space with sweeping views of Akagiyama (Mount Akagi) and the night skyline, you can enjoy high quality Yakiniku.

With spacious sofa seating, lively dining table seating, and Private room options, it works well for many different occasions.

The main thing served here is a brand of wagyu (Japanese beef) that originated in Ebisu, Tokyo.

The T-cut "premium salted tongue" and the thick-cut "fresh salted tongue" are said to have a crisp bite while being surprisingly tender.

In addition to the "Standard Course," where you can enjoy classic items such as beef tongue, Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) kalbi, Outside skirt, and cold noodles, they also offer three courses to match your budget, including a "Premium Course" with Premium cuts and lobster.

The meat and vegetables are both tasty, and you can tell they care about quality.

あやはな0603

The set centers on Yakiniku like kalbi (Korean-style short ribs), Outside skirt, and tontoro (fatty pork cheek), and comes with salad, soup, and rice. The food came quickly, and the portion was very satisfying. The jukusei tsukekomi Wagyu (aged marinated Wagyu) had concentrated umami and was tender and full of flavor... The marinade gave it even more depth and richness, so it went perfectly with hot white rice!

In particular, the Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) assortment set and the Negi Baka Tare (green onion-loaded sauce) were outstanding! You could really taste the rich flavor of the meat, and the Negi Baka Tare made it even better. Every grilled vegetable had a nice sweetness and tasted great, making it a very Manzoku meal.

I like All you can eat and All you can drink, so although it was my first time, I visited this place. They had a wide range of menu items, and it was a lot of fun. I was also glad they had gelato.‍♀️

- Lunch (11~15:00) comes with All you can drink soft drinks - It was great that they had a wide variety of gelato and ice cream. You can choose as many as you like from the display case. However, you can order up to 3 kinds at a time - They also have waffles, cotton candy, and pancakes, which would likely be a big hit for families with children.

ケスーヨイラー

I ordered the Select Lunch with 100g of kalbi (short rib) and 50g of loin. It had been quite a while since I last visited Anrakutei, but the meat was tender, and I think this amount and quality for just under 1600円 is great value. Also, the sauce was really good.

さとちゃん5905

When I added the coupon Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) to the Yakiniku set meal, the amount of meat was more than enough! Rice and wakame seaweed soup come with free refills, so I got another serving, and that was plenty. It seemed to be Beef Tongue Day, but I went with the Wagyu coupon first!! It made for a luxurious late-night meal...
