Among yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), chicken liver is an especially popular skewer. It is cooked with perfect heat, bringing out a plump texture and rich flavor.
People like it as a skewer with hardly any off notes, and one that shows the freshness of the ingredient.

I was shown to the counter, and watching the meat cook right in front of me made the beer go down easy. The meat was plump and satisfying to eat. The otoshi (small appetizer) potage was also tasty. I could have eaten endless skewers of meat wrapped around ko-negi (small green onions). The lightly spicy pickled quail eggs went almost too well with the beer. Everything I ate was delicious.

This stylish restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and although I arrived on time for my course reservation, it was fully booked and a table opened up right on time. The course meal was filling and very satisfying, and of course the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was delicious too. The food came quickly, and the staff had a lovely vibe.

The restaurant is small, with counter seating and just a few tables, but the staff keep a close eye on everything and the service feels attentive throughout. I had the yakitori set one skewer at a time. The liver was especially excellent, so I also took home a yakitori bento (grilled chicken skewer boxed meal).

This time, we had obanzai (Kyoto-style home cooking), a sashimi assortment, shiromiso nikomi (white miso stew), crab cream croquettes, and TKG (tamago kake gohan)! The "yanrou (grilled lamb skewers)" are said to be nicely charred and full of the rich flavor of the fat.
Another highlight is that you can enjoy changing up the flavor with the table spices, and many people pair them with beer.

It’s nice that it’s close to the station and easy to get to. The otoshi (small appetizer), chicken skin with ponzu sauce, was light and refreshing, and went perfectly with beer. The tebasaki Kara-age had a nice kick of sansho (Japanese pepper), and the savory aroma was irresistible. I’d like to go again.

Delicious motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot). It is packed with stamina and has a bold, punchy flavor. With carefully prepared snacks like pasta salad, otsukuri (sashimi assortment), and salted beef tongue, drinks I do not usually have went down surprisingly well. I finished with champon noodles, smooth and slurpable. It was a great meal.

It’s a small, cozy place, and the owner is easy to talk to. They have lots of regulars, and if it were in the neighborhood, it would be the kind of spot you could drop by without a second thought. Everything was properly tasty, and even the draft beer got me excited from the glass alone.

Miso Ramen overflowing with seafood. Hotate (scallops), shrimp, cabbage, corn, and aosa (green laver). A nicely cooked boiled egg. It comes with butter. The draft beer is Kirin Ichiban Shibori (Kirin First Press). Whenever I come to this restaurant, I always order ume tataki kyuri (cucumbers with chopped pickled plum). It has a strong salty taste and is perfect as a snack with drinks. It's conveniently close to the station. If you want to eat sushi late at night, definitely give it a try.
