Yakiniku Agari Honten is a Yakiniku restaurant on the 7th floor of a building right in front of the west exit of Matsudo Station. This restaurant is particular about quality meat, including A4 and A5 rank Domestic Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu).
The space has a calm wa-modern (Japanese modern) feel. There are counter seats and table seats, as well as Private room options, so you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace.
Photograph:nakam291546
They do not stick to specific brands and instead source good Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) that is in season at the time. Skilled chefs carefully cut each order by hand using a method called "tegiri (hand-cutting)".
The course that lets you try a full range of recommended cuts such as tongue, Outside skirt, and Chateaubriand is also popular.
Photograph:1c5e57
You can also order the meat à la carte. At lunchtime, you can enjoy the recommended cuts of the day at more affordable prices than at dinner.
Dishes like curry and beef stew made with the trimmed end pieces from cutting high quality meat are also popular.
The heavily marbled karubi (short rib) starts to sizzle and release its fat the moment it hits the grill, and once cooked, it is fragrant on the outside and meltingly tender inside. The sauce has sweetness and depth, with a flavor that goes perfectly with rice. The meat itself is also rich in umami, and even eaten simply with salt, it is highly satisfying. It is generous in volume too, a classic Yakiniku karubi that fully satisfies your craving for grilled meat.

I used to come here mostly at night, but when I tried lunch, it was so good that I’ve been back many times for lunch as well. It’s hard to find a place with this level of quality at this price. I’d like to come again.

This restaurant is popular for serving dishes prepared under the guidance of Dojo Rokusaburo, who is often called a master of Japanese cuisine.
Its signature is meat kneaded with washoku (Japanese cuisine) dashi (broth). This makes the meat more tender and brings out even more umami. They also offer Yakiniku enjoyed with dashi.

Lunch hours are set long, and the set meals centered on Yakiniku are popular. There are several kinds of meat to choose from, and even the side dishes have a good reputation.
The paid drink bar is also recommended. There is also a self serve plan that lets you drink as many soft drinks and alcoholic beverages as you like.
misozukemaru
It is located in the basement of a building called Kitemite Matsudo, a 5-minute walk from Matsudo Station. I ordered the lunch set with three kinds of tan (beef tongue) and several cuts of rare meat available only on Meat Day. The three kinds of tan had just the right amount of fat, and the rare cuts were incredibly good. Letting the fat drip onto the white rice made the rice even more tasty. I want to visit again.

I visited with a reservation for seats only for 4 people. The All you can drink alcohol option is cheap, but it is the kind where you go get the drinks yourself. I had 6 drinks in total, beer and highballs, so I guess I got my money's worth. There were also many meat dishes with good value for money, and the spacing between seats was fairly wide, so I would recommend it. It was a place I would like to visit again.

Kuroge Wagyu Yakiniku Sakuratei is a Yakiniku restaurant on the second floor of a building, about a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Matsudo Station. It stays open continuously from lunch through dinner.
Inside, several purchase certificates are said to be displayed for Matsusaka-gyu (Matsusaka beef), Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef), and other varieties personally sourced by the owner.

Inside the clean and tidy restaurant, box seats are lined up. It seems to have an atmosphere that makes it easy for families with children to visit.
To make sure guests can enjoy high quality meat as delicious Yakiniku, they carefully cut each piece while checking its condition. Their homemade sauce, made with more than 10 kinds of ingredients, is also well liked.
Photograph:6c8d71
Multiple reviews say that the course available for parties of 3 or more comes with more meat than expected and offers a high level of satisfaction.
The recommended cuts and the Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) assortment are also popular. You can enjoy comparing different cuts on a single plate.
Sakuratei is a restaurant where you can enjoy Yakiniku in a calm atmosphere. The shio tan (salted beef tongue) we had this time had a nice medium thickness and a great texture, with more flavor coming out the more you chew. The salt was just right, and a light squeeze of lemon gave it a clean finish. The nicely grilled tongue had a great smoky aroma and paired perfectly with drinks, making it a very satisfying bite. It was so good that you'll want to go back for more.

おはようみうし
With one bite, the tender texture and deep umami of the meat spread at the same time, while the sweetness of the fat and the richness of the lean meat layer together beautifully in your mouth. It has a satisfying bite yet melts nicely, and what stands out is how the lingering flavor lasts longer with every chew. Enjoying it simply with salt or wasabi keeps it light and brings out the meat’s natural flavor even more, letting you appreciate its depth more fully.

The meat served for Yakiniku is kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) such as Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) and Yamagata-gyu (Yamagata beef). The brand changes depending on the season, but they always select high quality meat.
They are also particular about freshness, and much of the meat is never frozen. Some reviews say the cuts are thick and great!

The Korean side dishes are also popular for being good. The salad dressing and kimchi are Homemade too, with flavors you can only get here.
The Korean dish gukbap (rice soup), made by combining rice with soup made from beef bones, is also popular. It has a slight kick, and adding kimchi brings out more heat and umami.
ATSUGIRI
It was very delicious. As you can tell from the photos, the quality of the meat was very high, and it was prepared with great care. In central Tokyo, this level would cost about JPY12,000 per person, but here I was able to enjoy it for around JPY6000. The price per serving may look a little high, but the quality was great, the portions were large, and it was very Manzoku.

The salad comes with a non-oil dressing that has a nice homemade feel. The kimchi is also really good, with no corners cut. When you order the karubi-kuppa (beef rib soup with rice), they ask how spicy you want it. Since it was my first time, I asked for the regular level of spiciness. It was packed with ingredients like daikon radish, carrots, and shimeji mushrooms. The amount of meat was on the smaller side, but it was nice and tender. Best of all, the soup was amazingly good!

The meat served here centers on Wagyu. The signature dish is the "Special Wagyu assortment." It features an assortment of three high quality cuts, including tongue, short rib, and Outside skirt.
The meat has a nice thickness while still being tender, it seems.
Not only meat, but also seafood and vegetables can be grilled right at your table on the grill set there for you to cook yourselves.
Korean dishes such as small Hot Pots and chijimi (Korean savory pancakes) like okonomiyaki are also said to be good. They have some heat, but also plenty of umami.

Not only is the meat really good, but every side dish is tasty too!! I recommend the Kanrakutei assortment special (I think that was the name), an assortment of tongue, Outside skirt, and loin! Also, the negi cheese chijimi (green onion and cheese Korean pancake) is excellent❣️

カネコトゴハン
There were so many items on the menu, so we started by ordering an assortment and the Cheese Tteokbokki that caught our eye! The meat surprised us with how tender it was from the first bite. The kalbi had just the right amount of fat. The Beef Tongue was large, and the seasoning was also very good. And the Cheese Tteokbokki was served piping hot with a sweet and spicy sauce, but this place may lean fairly spicy overall.

Of course, they are particular about the quality of the meat, but the owner’s care also shows in the house-made sauce. It is said to be made to bring out the meat’s good flavor.
Many of the cuts come already coated in sauce, but they also recommend dipping them in the sauce again after grilling.
The menu centers on beef, and it seems to feature a lot of Wagyu. There are also many different cuts of Horumon, and you can enjoy pork, chicken, and grilled seafood as well.
There is a wide selection of soft drinks as well as alcohol. They also offer bottled sparkling water and green tea for families and groups.

The Beef Tongue was delicious, and the manager and staff were calm and kind!! The ume-negi Beef Tongue? was fresh and tasty, and the premium Beef Tongue was tender and excellent! They had lots of snack-style dishes, and the imo-mochi (potato rice cake) matched the flavor of butter and nori (seaweed) perfectly!! I’ll definitely go again ^ ^

Beef Tongue is popular here, and the “Special thick-cut tongue” is especially well liked. It is thick, and even after grilling, it still has a nice springy texture.
The Korean side dishes, such as kimchi and namul, are also said to be excellent. After Yakiniku, it is also recommended to finish with Korean-style soup rice gukbap or cold noodles.
wasad855
I had been searching for a good Yakiniku place for so long, and I finally found one. I had the Wagyu loin and premium kalbi, and both had just the right amount of marbling, looked beautiful, and were very satisfying in taste. When the kimchi and namul assortment came out, I was impressed by how beautifully it was plated, and even more impressed when I tasted it. The service is attentive, and it is also easy on the wallet. A must-visit again!

This Yakiniku place was unbelievably good. The tan shio (salted beef tongue) in particular was amazing. They also had a good selection of drinks, and even though we visited as our second stop, we still managed to eat a lot. The signature “tongue” comes in several options, including thick cut and one topped with plenty of green onions. They also recommend the extra green onion sauce, which pairs well with the tongue.
If you choose the Yakiniku All you can eat course, you can enjoy beef, pork, and more at a reasonable price.

The side menu item yukgaejang-myeon (spicy noodle soup with beef and vegetables) is also popular. It is a dish that pairs noodles with a spicy soup simmered with beef and vegetables.
You can also drink Korean shochu and makkoli (Korean rice wine) in a range of flavors. You can add an All you can drink plan to your à la carte order, so it is a good pick for those who want to drink a lot.

The exterior has an old-school feel, but the inside was clean and had a calm atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy a meal. There is zashiki (tatami seating), so guests with small children can feel at ease. First, the tongue. It had a nice moderate thickness and cooked quickly, so a quick grill left it tender. With lemon, the fat did not feel heavy, giving it a lightness that made it just right as the first plate.

They place a wire mesh over a small charcoal shichirin (tabletop charcoal grill) and grill the meat there, so you can also enjoy the nice smoky aroma of the charcoal fire.

This restaurant is known for offering authentic Yakiniku grilled over a shichirin (small charcoal grill) at reasonable prices, and among the menu items, the "Anan Karubi (short rib)" is especially popular for its great value.
You can also order a la carte, and add an All you can drink option with your meal.
I visited with friends for All you can eat. The meat grilled over the shichirin (charcoal brazier) was nice and fragrant, and the kalbi and Horumon were more than satisfying for the price. Service was smoother than I expected, so we enjoyed the meal without any stress. The restaurant has a casual and lively atmosphere, making it a great pick for a day when you want to enjoy Yakiniku without overthinking it. If value for money matters most, I would want to come back again.

Special Premium Salted Beef Tongue was a dish with a special feel even among Gyu-Kaku's beef tongue menu items.
