ACQUA E SOLE

ACQUA E SOLE is on the first floor of Daiwa Roynet Hotel, just a short walk from the East Exit of Keisei Chiba-Chuo Station. It is an Italian restaurant with a wide selection of pizzas and pasta.

The stylish and calm interior has counter seats, table seats, and Private room.

You can order from either the course menu or à la carte. One feature of the dishes here is the use of low-pesticide vegetables grown in Chiba Prefecture.

The photo shows the classic pizza Margherita, made with tomato, mozzarella cheese, and basil. At lunch, you can also order it as a value set that comes with salad and soup.

You can also enjoy any two kinds as a half-and-half. The photo shows the signature "Bianchetti," topped with plenty of shirasu (whitebait), and the cheese-based "Funghi," topped with a variety of mushrooms.

They also offer items like "Inoshishi-niku (wild boar meat) no Salsiccia and Mushrooms," featuring gibier (game meat) from Chiba Prefecture.

mirmeso

Everything was incredibly delicious, but especially the quattro formaggi!! The gentle sweetness of the honey and the salty richness of the cheese brought out the great flavor of the crispy outside, fluffy inside crust, and it was so good it just melted in my mouth〜. The sparkling wine was delicious too, and the staff checked on us often, which made it a really lovely restaurant!

はるまきサラダ

I could feel the careful attention to detail, like how they quickly came to refill our water as soon as our glasses were empty. It was my first time trying cold carbonara, and it was delicious. The large pieces of bacon were also nice. The margherita was bigger than I expected and felt satisfying. The crust was thin, but it still had a nice chewy texture, and I could really taste the generous amount of cheese, which made it very good.

The photo shows the cheese-based "Bismarck," topped with mozzarella cheese, ham, and a soft-cooked egg.

The value lunch set that comes with salad, Appetizers, and a mini dessert seems to be popular. The Appetizers and dessert are said to be tasty too.

It is also a good idea to order different pizzas as a group and share them. Another nice point is that if you cannot finish everything, they will wrap it up for takeout.

あふじい

Next, I had a pizza called nduja, a name I had never heard before. I was told nduja was spicy, but it tasted more like anchovy to me. It was topped over mozzarella, shirasu (whitebait), and onion, and it was about the best I’ve ever had. A fine pizza oven sits in the back kitchen.

もぐもくま

They also bring in seasonal ingredients, and every dish was delicious from the Appetizers onward. The authentic pizzas baked in a stone oven had a nice chewy texture, and both the Margherita and the salmon and cheese pizza were great. We also had the mushroom cream pasta and the meat dish. Even the chestnut tiramisu for dessert was really good, and the restaurant exceeded expectations.

ひらたけ62

Seriously, no matter what you eat here, it’s delicious. I love this place! The pizza is wood-fired, the crust is on the thin side, and every kind is great, plus the otoshi (small appetizer) potage soup is so amazingly good your eyes will pop out. Haha. I really want them to put it on the regular menu! The especially good one is the cheese pasta! They toss it right in front of you inside a huge wheel of cheese! It’s really rich and delicious!

They offer a wide variety of drinks and food as well. You can enjoy Italian dishes to your taste, centered on pizza and pasta. Best of all, the pizza baked in their dedicated pizza oven is outstanding! The crust’s chewy, airy texture and the way the cheese melts and stretches are exactly what makes it so good fresh out of the oven!

And then the main dish, the Genovese pizza──the cheese stretches nicely over the chewy crust! The fragrant basil Genovese sauce goes perfectly with the oil and garlic, making it really addictive. It was a well-balanced pizza, with both a soft texture and a nice toasty aroma in the crust. The ceiling inside is high, creating an open and airy space.

Unlike Italian pizzas such as Margherita, this is American pizza, so it has a different kind of flavor. I have to admit I did not expect much because of the location, which was rude of me, but it was surprisingly quite good.

We also ordered the mini bacon salad and pizza, which were good last time. The pizza with lots of cheese was delicious, just as expected! It was also great with honey drizzled on top! But next time, I think I’ll try a different pizza. Day drinking at lunch with white wine is the best♪ We finished with the seafood garlic soup pasta. We enjoyed it very much.

中川 ひかり

I chose the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) cream soup pasta. The shrimp, scallops, and squid were all big and plump. The mild mentaiko cream was easy to enjoy, and I loved the chewy noodles and piping hot serving. I also ordered the cheese pizza, which you eat with honey drizzled on top. It seemed to use several kinds of cheese, giving it a rich aroma, and I enjoyed it all the way to the last bite without getting tired of it!

天真爛漫0001

I’ve had pizza fritta at other places too, but this one was really good, which makes sense since the restaurant’s name is also the name of the dish on the menu. I had the small size, but it was still satisfying and very nice. The marinara also had plenty of tomato, with a pleasant acidity that made it delicious.

We ordered the seafood tomato sauce pasta and quattro formaggi. The pasta came with squid, mussels, and shrimp. The sauce had a rich seafood flavor and was very good. The quattro had so much cheese it looked like it might spill over. A very Manzoku amount of cheese.

・Honey Cheese
The thickness of the dough is just right, neither too thin nor too heavy. One bite in, and the cheese takes center stage. It feels like 80% cheese. The generous drizzle of honey brings sweetness that blends with the saltiness, spreading through your mouth all at once. The honey is used so generously that you can really feel the chef's love.

mamachari days

The reason I had been curious was the "10-yen pizza"!? It seems to be limited to just the first one per group, but even so, it's cheap. What's more, they let you choose the type. I ordered the classic Margherita. The pizza that arrived was a properly authentic pizza. It wasn't that big, but the taste was beyond complaint.

And because the pizzas are served fresh from the oven, every one of them tastes great. Fresh out of the oven really makes a big difference in how good they are. The smoked mozzarella, taleggio, gorgonzola, Grana Padano, and ricotta each brought their own richness, saltiness, sweetness, and aroma, and together they tasted incredibly good with a great sense of balance♪The crust was thin and crisp, so I finished a whole pie in no time!

Capricciosa Shisui Premium Outlet Ten

Capricciosa, located inside Shisui Premium Outlets in Shisui-machi, Inba-gun, Chiba Prefecture, is one of the branches of this long-standing Italian restaurant chain that was founded in 1978 in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The spacious, bright interior is fully equipped with table seating. It is said to always be lively.

They offer about seven kinds of pizza. The crust is thick with a chewy texture, making it satisfying and tasty.

The photo shows the Capricciosa, a hearty pizza loaded with toppings. It comes with salami, bacon, shrimp, mushrooms, onion, and a daily topping.

You can also order a half-and-half and enjoy two kinds at the same time. You can choose from the pizzas on the menu marked with a “Half & Half” symbol. The photo shows the bacon and sausage "Carne Misto" and the four-cheese "Quattro Formaggi."

They also offer a wide range of other Italian dishes.

・Quattro Formaggi
For the cheese pizza, you can choose with or without honey. You can go sweet, or add Tabasco or spicy oil for a spicy kick. Nice that you can change it depending on your mood!

・Marinara seafood tomato sauce
If I lived nearby, I’d want to get it for Takeout and eat it at home! It was loaded with ingredients, delicious, and really satisfying. I couldn’t finish it, so I got Takeout. When I told the staff, they kindly helped me out. Even after taking it home, I was able to enjoy it again and it still tasted great!
