Niruwanamu Kawagoe Ten

Nirwanam Kawagoe Ten is a restaurant serving traditional South Indian cuisine, just a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Kawagoe Station on the Tobu Tojo Line.

Sunlight pours in through the windows, creating a bright and open space. There are table seats and sofa seats, making it well suited for groups.

At lunchtime, the buffet lets you enjoy about 15 kinds of South and North Indian dishes to your heart's content, including curry, bread, and salad.

The curries change daily, and it seems there are about 4〜5 kinds each day. They say each one uses plenty of Indian spices.

At the buffet, you can also find a full lineup of desserts and sweets loved in India, including wada sambar (South Indian doughnuts) and idli (steamed rice flour cakes).

On weekends and public holidays, they also serve biryani made with basmati rice.

MERRY

Some of the curry dishes had flavors I had hardly ever tasted before, and they were very distinctive. They also have the trendy biryani, and even the regular rice came as saffron long-grain rice, which I found interesting.

I think the options on the day of my visit were chicken, dal, vegetable, vegetable mix, and mutton stew. The rice was especially good, and the lemon rice was outstanding! They also had Japanese rice turmeric rice and naan, but for me it was lemon rice all the way.

I was heading toward the Kawagoe area and looking for lunch when I came across this place with an affordable lunch buffet and decided to go in. The menu focuses on healthy dishes made with local vegetables. They also had a good selection of pasta and rice dishes, and I left very satisfied. I’d like to come again.

Being located on the market grounds, it offered the freshness and flavor I had hoped for. You can enjoy a wide variety of seasonal vegetable dishes here. And every one of them is delicious. Even the desserts use vegetables, and the new textures and flavors are so good that I ended up eating too much (^-^;)

Both the food and sweets had a nice Homemade feel, and it was wonderful to see more being made and added right in front of us. The taste was great!!!

It’s fun to pick your own ingredients and eat them freshly fried. But I used to think I couldn’t eat that much… when I came back for the first time in a while, the batter had gotten thinner, and the breadcrumbs had also evolved into a lighter texture✨There were some first time ingredients too, like salmon and oysters, maybe because they were in season, and the chocolate fountain was fun with 3 kinds of chocolate.

ひとみyhsa

The best part is frying it yourself and eating it right away while it’s still fresh and hot. There’s also a great variety of vegetables and meats! The sweets are fun too, and the chocolate fountain is exciting. I piled on the salad, kept frying, and ended up completely full!

The buffet spread is very well stocked, with bread, salads, deli items, and more. And everything I tried was very good. The things that stood out most were the kare-pan (curry bread) topped with keema curry on rice flour bread, onion tempura, carrots dressed with balsamic vinegar, pumpkin croquettes, and Napolitan (Japanese ketchup pasta).

It was delicious! Just like the reviews said, the curry was authentic and excellent. It is geared toward adults. Other standouts were something like satoimo (taro) dressed with green onion, the roast pork, the pumpkin croquette, the freshly baked croissant, and the pudding, I think. Everything was good, but I especially recommend trying the curry and the pudding.

Wow, a hotel buffet for the first time in a while! There seemed to be a lot of families there...it was very lively! The food looked beautiful too, and I got to enjoy lots of different kinds♪ I also ate plenty of my favorite crab(^o^)/

The dishes I especially liked were jingisukan (grilled mutton), Sapporo guruguru wiener (spiral sausage), soup curry, Sapporo Miso Ramen, and of course zuwai-gani (snow crab)! Every dish was packed with the great flavors of Hokkaido, and it made for a very happy moment.

Honkon Jomushi Sogo Omiya Ten

"Honkon Joron Sogo Omiya Ten" is a buffet restaurant on the 9th floor of Sogo Omiya, about a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Omiya Station on the JR Saikyo Line.

The interior, done in white and brown tones, feels spacious. The lighting is kept low, so you can enjoy your meal in a calm setting.

The recommendation is the buffet, where you can enjoy more than 20 kinds of authentic Chinese dishes.

From standard dishes to original creations, the lineup includes a la carte items made with seasonal ingredients. There is also a “ramen corner” where you can choose your favorite toppings.

Dim sum such as xiaolongbao, shumai, and steamed dumplings are brought to (Each) table by cart. A nice point is that everything is served freshly steamed.

They also serve dessert dim sum such as "custard buns" and "coconut dumplings."

tomo_0428

The Chinese side dishes are authentic across the board. The dim sum is authentic too. As for the ramen, you can order it and have it made fresh on the spot, and there are more varieties than when I visited in the past. Also, the selection changes regularly, so I think you can enjoy it no matter how many times you go.

k_sum982

This is my favorite Chinese buffet. I especially like the mapo tofu, ramen, and oolong tea, and sometimes I find myself wanting to go just for those. It had been a while since my last visit on this day, and I went back for seconds many times.

"Surf & Turf" is a buffet restaurant on the 1st floor of King Ambassador Hotel Kumagaya.

The calm interior has many table seats. The tables are spaced well apart, so you can relax and enjoy your time.

At lunchtime, you can enjoy a buffet of hotel made Western dishes, including Appetizers, hot dishes, and desserts.

The food actively uses fresh local ingredients, including vegetables from Kumagaya.

The Breakfast buffet offers standard breakfast items as well as daily udon noodles and soba noodles. The most popular item of all is the French toast, and it is a must try.

The menu changes with the seasons, so you will not get tired of it no matter how many times you visit.

8ab01556148

There are not many places around the station open from early morning, so this place is very handy since even non-guests can have the breakfast buffet. It does not have an especially huge selection, but the menu focuses mainly on Western food, with plenty of items to go with rice. The French toast is what really stands out, and I always end up eating too much of it.

アマデウス81212

The luxurious atmosphere inside and the colorful, stylish Appetizers make your heart skip a beat. The vibe, unlike anything you can get locally, really lifts your spirits. The salad came with dressing and two kinds of olive oil, and at the staff's recommendation, I had it with the olive oil. I could really enjoy the aroma and flavor of the olive oil, and it was delicious.
