Taishu Sakaba BEETLE Fujisawa is an izakaya where you can enjoy yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and other dishes that go well with alcohol. It is a 3-minute walk from Fujisawa Station.
The lively and bustling interior is fully equipped with counter seats that are easy to use even on your own, as well as table seating that is perfect for groups.

You can order the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) from 1 skewer. They come seasoned with salt or house-made tare sauce, and are served with mildly spicy miso. Each skewer is large and satisfying, and the tasty miso pairs well with drinks.
They also offer kushiyaki (grilled skewers) with beef, pork, and vegetables.
Photograph:carmelo15
Their signature nikudofu (simmered meat and tofu) is also popular. It is a great dish that lets you enjoy slowly simmered, slightly sweet meat together with tofu that has soaked up all the flavor.
It is said to be delicious with seasoning that goes perfectly with any kind of drink. For an extra charge, you can also add an egg or get extra meat.
たいわんわんちゃん
I ordered bonjiri (chicken tail, salt), pork kashira (head meat, sauce), ham katsu, Chinese cabbage sunomono (vinegared dish), shio-musubi (salted rice ball), and niku-dofu (meat and tofu stew). The best item was the bonjiri, which was tender and juicy. The way the fat rendered was perfect. The slightly spicy miso that came with the yakitori tasted amazing when I put it on the shio-musubi.

They have just about everything to drink, from beer, highballs, and sours to Japanese sake and shochu. The food menu offers reasonably priced items with a nice level of taste, including yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), oden (Japanese stew), and small plates. The service is nicely balanced, so it does not feel formal. It was also an easy place to drop into for a solo drink.

Kushibei Honten is a yakitori restaurant on the Fujisawa Station Miyamae Line, just a 1-minute walk from the South Exit of Fujisawa Station. You can enjoy yakitori made with jidori (local chicken) delivered fresh every day from Azumino, Nagano Prefecture, along with local sake.
The calm interior, filled with the warmth of wood, includes counter seats, table seats, Sunken kotatsu seating, and Private room.

The jidori (local chicken) they use is known for its clean, light taste. They grill it over carefully selected binchotan (high-grade white charcoal), giving it a fragrant outside while sealing in the flavor to keep it juicy. You can order from just 1 skewer.
The photo shows the "tegone tsukune," served with plenty of sauce. It is made by shaping kneaded ground chicken into a stick and grilling it.

They also offer a wide variety of pork and vegetable skewers, along with creative skewers. If you are not sure what to order, the "Kushibee 6-skewer set" is a good choice, letting you enjoy an Omakase selection of chicken and pork skewers.
They also have courses with All you can drink that let you enjoy yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and a la carte dishes, as well as an A la carte All you can drink plan.

The otoshi (appetizer) of steamed cabbage was my first sign of how good this place is... Each skewer was filling and tasty, and the grilling was spot on too! It was also easy on the wallet, and when it came time to pay at the end, everyone said in unison, It was this cheap? That's how high the level is at this skewer spot.

Every kushiyaki (grilled skewers) dish was delicious. There were so many kushiyaki options that I never got tired of them. Another standout was the jumbo tori shumai (chicken shumai dumpling). It was juicy and addictive. I was also happy about the cabbage seiro-mushi (steamed in a bamboo basket). This otoshi (table charge appetizer) is All you can eat. Of course, I got seconds!

Fujisawa Torisho is a popular yakitori restaurant located along the Fujisawa Muraoka Line, a 6-minute walk from Fujisawa Station, where you can casually enjoy authentic sumibi-yakitori (charcoal-grilled chicken skewers) and a la carte dishes.
The interior, equipped with table seating and zashiki (tatami-floor seating), has a retro feel and is said to be lively all the time. Because it is popular, making a reservation is recommended.

The signature item is the “Taisho Tsukune,” about the size of a Hamburger Steak. It is shaped from a mixture of ground chicken, shiitake mushrooms, onions, and other ingredients.
It is said to be grilled over strong charcoal heat until fragrant, sealing in the flavor. With the aroma of charcoal, a rich sauce, and mellow egg yolk coming together, it is a popular dish for its deep, rich taste.

You can order yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) from just 1 skewer, and choose the seasoning from salt or tare sauce. They also offer pork and vegetable skewers, along with some unique options.
Every yakitori skewer is large and satisfying, with excellent grilling that makes them really tasty. The photo shows the recommended "Kushiyaki Omakase 5 Skewer Set," where you can enjoy 5 skewers.

It is away from the busy downtown area, but it is always popular. The signature item is tsukune (seasoned chicken meatball skewers), no question about it. You can order only one skewer per person. But it is huge (lol) Each skewer comes with two pieces, and each one is about the size of a regular Hamburger Steak. Then they top it with a sweet and savory sauce and egg yolk... There is no way it would not be good~

No matter what we ate, it was all delicious. The nikomi (stew) and potato salad had something a little different about them, and the yakitori had an amazing melt-in-your-mouth texture. The drinks were great too, and the ao-shiso (green perilla) ones were especially easy to drink. I was also happy that the portions were incredibly large, especially the tsukune❗️

Their specialty is yakiton (grilled pork skewers) made with motsu (offal). They carefully select and use high quality motsu delivered fresh every morning from Gunma Prefecture. They cut it in house every day and skewer each piece by hand with care. You can choose either salt or sauce for seasoning.
The photo shows “kashira aka (head meat)” from the head, and “Heart” from the heart.

For yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), they offer a wide range of classic cuts. Just like the yaki-ton (grilled pork skewers), you can choose either salt or tare sauce for the seasoning. In the photo are the "momo" chicken thigh, said to be tender and juicy, and "negima," chicken and green onion skewered alternately.
They also offer vegetable skewers and kushiage (deep-fried skewers).

The menchi-katsu (beef minced cutlet) is full of juicy meat juices and a must order. For kashira (pork cheek), I prefer the white one over the red one. The momo (chicken thigh) is tender. The tsukune (chicken meatball) has crunchy nankotsu (cartilage), so I keep coming back for it.

I visited on Sunday evening after looking for a place where I could eat delicious yakitori at a reasonable price. Every grilled skewer was a great choice! The tomato wrapped in meat had an excellent balance of juiciness, the liver was nicely browned outside and tender inside and addictive, and I had the highest hopes for the kinkan (immature egg yolk), which you rarely see on menus elsewhere, and it was perfectly salted and fluffy. Sandaimo Torimero Fujisawa Minamiguchi Ten is located in a building about a 2-minute walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station, and serves yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) made with flavorful Seiryu Wakadori (young chicken).
The interior has a cozy and relaxed feel, with counter seats, table seats, and Private room seating available.

Seiryu Wakadori (young chicken) is raised on carefully selected blended feed, and every yakitori skewer is known for being large, nicely browned on the outside, and juicy and tasty on the inside.
There are two seasoning options. One is the restaurant's secret tare sauce, rich in hyaluronic acid and collagen with a gelatinous texture, and the other is salt blended with kombu kelp dashi.

The popular Kiwami Tsukune (premium chicken meatball) is made by shaping a mixture of kneaded ground chicken. You can choose from a wide range of varieties. The photo shows the Niku-zume Piiman (green peppers stuffed with meat filling), with the filling packed into green peppers.
They also offer a wide range of good value courses with All you can drink. Yakitori is included in almost every course.

We visited without a reservation for the second stop of a night out drinking. We got in right away! It was also nice that they stay open late at night. Since it is a chain, they have a wide selection of drinks, and the food was tasty with the reliable quality of an izakaya (Japanese pub). The skewers were good, so I recommend them from〜

深夜冒険者
The great thing about this place is, above all, how affordable the food and drinks are! And since the restaurant is spacious, it seems especially handy for families or drinking parties with large groups! The standout dishes were, just as the name suggests, the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)! Among them, the tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) is especially recommended, so why not stop by and give it a try?

A 2-minute walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station, Taishu Izakaya Toriichizu is located on the first basement floor of a building along Kugenuma Route 30. This izakaya is a casual place to enjoy chicken dishes, including Imabari yakitori (Imabari-style grilled chicken), a local specialty from Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture.
The interior, with both counter and table seating, is said to have a lively atmosphere.

The signature “Imabari yakitori” made with Domestic chicken is a style of yakitori that is boldly pressed and grilled on a Teppan-yaki plate, and it is said to be excellent, with a savory outside and a juicy inside.
Of course, you can order à la carte, but the value packed “Imabari yakitori All you can eat & All you can drink” course is also recommended, where you can enjoy “Imabari yakitori” and à la carte dishes along with drinks.
The "kawa-kushi (chicken skin skewer)" on the right is a specialty, said to be delicious with crispy chicken skin coated in a sweet and savory sauce. You eat it with their secret spicy powder.
The "Spicy Chicken" on the left is also a specialty and popular for its great taste. It is Kara-age chicken wings mixed with their secret spicy powder. Both can be ordered from just 1 piece.

• Hiden kawa-kushi (secret sauce chicken skin skewer)
A secret sauce is used, and its sweet and savory flavor brings out the rich taste of the chicken skin❗️The sauce recipe is unique to this restaurant, and the flavor was so good that you cannot find it anywhere else‼️

The menu is also well stocked with fried dishes and a la carte items, making this a handy spot for people who are more into drinking than eating! I could drink one glass with just one stick of supachiki (spicy chicken)! The restaurant is clean and comfortable too.

Kuimonoya Wan Fujisawa Ten is a popular place where you can casually enjoy creative Japanese modern dishes. It is on the 5th floor of a building along the Fujisawa Station Miyamae Line, just a short walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station.
The interior has a calm atmosphere with the feel of an old Japanese house. All seats are Sunken kotatsu seating, and Private rooms are also available.

The photo shows the restaurant's specialty, "Tezukuri Torori Cheese Tsukune (handmade gooey cheese chicken meatball)." Cheese is wrapped inside a mixture of ground chicken and cartilage, then the meatballs are gently steamed until plump and carefully grilled one by one.
By coating it with egg yolk before eating, you can enjoy a mild, rich flavor.

For the standard yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), you can choose between salt or tare sauce seasoning, and orders start from 2 skewers. You can also enjoy pork and beef kushiyaki (grilled skewers) as well as creative skewers.
They also offer a wide range of seafood dishes such as sashimi, along with plenty of Japanese dishes made with seasonal ingredients. There are also many courses with All you can drink, which is great for people who enjoy alcohol.

You order by QR code. The cheese tsukune (chicken meatball) the staff recommended was very tasty. I ate it coated with Ran-O (brand egg yolk).
