I was in the mood for something with sauce.... So I ordered yakisoba (Japanese fried noodles) and tonpei-yaki (griddled pork and egg). Toritetsu Keikyu Kawasaki Ekimae Ten is a restaurant about a 5-minute walk from Kawasaki Station where you can enjoy tasty yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and Japanese sake.
The interior has a Japanese-style design and feels like a hideaway for adults, with box seats and Semi-private room seating where you can relax.

The wide lineup of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) can be enjoyed A la carte or as an assortment.
The "6 Skewer Kushiyaki Set" is said to be seasoned with tare sauce, salt, or miso tare sauce. The assortment contents change depending on the day, so it is best to check with the staff in advance.

The “Revived Homemade potato salad” is a popular menu item that the staff finishes right in front of you.
They make it when you ask at your preferred timing, so you can enjoy potato salad just the way you like it. You can choose from three sauces: cheese, mentaiko mayo, and mustard!

I came by because I was craving teba punchi (garlic chicken wings) and draft beer. Be careful not to burn your mouth, but I couldn’t wait because of the garlic aroma, so I washed down the piping hot teba punchi with an ice-cold draft beer.

The yakitori assortment was available in a wide range of varieties and came out right after I ordered, so I added to my order about twice! The seats are separated by partitions, which was nice because I did not have to worry about the customers next to me.
