Kaisen Buffet Dining Ginza Happo Shinjuku Ten

Kaisen Buffet Dining Ginza Happo Shinjuku Ten is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy a wide variety of food, including seafood, Japanese cuisine, and Yakiniku, in buffet style.

The interior is a spacious setting with 342 seats in total, including seats that can be turned into Semi-private room style spaces with noren (traditional fabric dividers), as well as fully private rooms with doors.

Lined up at the buffet counter are luxurious ingredients such as tarabagani (red king crab), zuwaigani (snow crab), and other seafood.

Among them, the zuwaigani is said to be packed with meat and gives a real sense of Manzoku. You can eat your fill of high quality crab shipped from Hokkaido.

Each table comes with its own grill, so you can enjoy hamayaki (seaside-style grilling) with shellfish and other items.

In addition to seafood, the Yakiniku of Wagyu, horse meat, and Hinai Jidori (premium local chicken), one of Japan’s three great jidori chicken breeds, is also well liked. Grilling everything right in front of you lets the nice, toasty aroma of the ingredients fill the air.

What first catches your eye is the heaping pile of tarabagani (red king crab) and zuwaigani (snow crab). The legs are nice and thick, packed with meat, and easy to pull from the shell◎. They are sweet even as is, but giving them a light grill on the tabletop grill brings out a nice aroma and makes them feel even more like a feast. Shellfish and crustaceans like oysters, sazae (turban shell), and shrimp are lined up as well, making this an irresistible lineup for seafood lovers.

It was impressive how even just watching the quick, skillful cooking unfold across the counter was fun, turning even the wait into part of the excitement. Every dish made the most of the quality of the ingredients, with an excellent balance of aroma, temperature, and texture. Each plate was highly satisfying, and the more you ate, the more it made you excited to see what would come next.

At the buffet here, the noodle station is popular, where you can freely choose your noodles and toppings.

The signature dish is pad thai made with nama-men (fresh noodles).

It is served once every hour, and each time it comes out, a line forms. The freshly cooked noodles have a chewy texture, and the seasoning is said to be just right.

Once every hour, they ring a bell when the fresh noodle pad thai is ready. Since it was made with fresh noodles, it had a chewy texture and was Surprising. There is also a corner with jasmine rice, curry, and noodle dishes, so you can really enjoy Thai food. You can also pile on a huge amount of pakuchi (cilantro). It is a buffet, but everyone seemed to keep it neat and clean, so I was able to enjoy the meal comfortably.

I visited for lunch this time, and the authentic flavors with plenty of pakuchi (cilantro) and spices left me very Manzoku. The tom yum goong had an excellent balance of sourness and heat, and it really whetted my appetite. It is a popular restaurant, so it gets lively, but that also makes it easy to relax and enjoy conversation. When I want Thai food in Shinjuku, this is one of the first places I would consider.

カッキーY

I visited for lunch. Each shumai dumpling was large and satisfying. There were many dishes to choose from, including about 8 kinds of salad and 3 kinds of ramen as well. There was also a big variety of desserts, and I could not finish them all. Every dish was good, including the shumai, Kara-age, fried rice, and yakisoba (fried noodles). The tray is properly divided into sections, so it is best to take small portions and enjoy a little at a time.

The roast beef and omelets served from the live kitchen were really delicious, and though it was a little embarrassing, I went back for them again and again. The grilled vegetables were also really good, and I think the reason simply grilled vegetables could taste this good was that the ingredients themselves were of such high quality.

The interior had a spacious, open feel, with yellow accents inspired by Veuve Clicquot. We had reserved a dinner plan that came with one drink! We enjoyed freshly made dishes like omelets and roast beef prepared right in front of us, and there was a wide selection from Cold Appetizers to Hot Appetizers, so it was nice to have so many choices(*´-`)

The meat here was reaaaaally good! The gyubara (beef short plate) was very tender, and the lamb had no off notes at all, so I kept ordering more over and over♡The crab also had plenty of meat, which was very Manzoku. There was also a huge spread of treasures from the sea, like abalone and oysters♡

This place is almost too luxurious. With All you can eat crab, seafood, and meat, it really is pure bliss…. Tarabagani (red king crab) and zuwaigani (snow crab). The happiness of eating as much tarabagani with its thick legs packed with meat and sweet, flavorful zuwaigani as you want…!✨They’re great just as they are, but when you shabu-shabu them, their sweetness stands out even more and tastes amazing

I was so Manzoku that I almost wanted to ask if it was really okay to choose whatever I liked from so many options, fry whatever I liked, and eat whatever I liked at this price! The shrimp, broccoli, and renkon (lotus root) were so good that I just kept eating them. The chicken tender and plum flavored sauce were also a perfect match〜

All you can eat kushiage (deep-fried skewers). I visited again for the first time in a while and ate 50 skewers. They have a wide variety, including meat, vegetables, seafood, and unusual items like takoyaki (octopus balls) and taiyaki (fish-shaped cakes). As expected, the style of frying them yourself and eating them is fun and nice. They also had a wide selection of desserts.
