People were amazed that the Outside skirt was so tender even though it was thick cut. It had just the right balance of richness and lean meat, and was said to be excellent.
The secret sauce, passed down for more than 50 years, is said to be light and to bring out the meat’s natural sweetness and flavor.

The “Horumon Assortment” lets you enjoy a wide variety of Horumon, from standard menu items to rare cuts. Each one is rich in fat, so you can fully enjoy the good flavor of Horumon.
Among them, the “Abura Horumon” is said to be especially tasty, with a flavor that goes great with rice.

Today's recommended toku-tan, the thick cut tongue root, has a really nice bite and is juicy and delicious! The kurimi (lean cut with fine marbling) has a great balance of lean meat and marbling, and its light texture makes it really tasty! The foil baked garlic is nice and fluffy too, and this is delicious as well!

The meat is great! We ordered a variety of items including meat dishes and side menus, and everything was delicious! The place was almost full, but the food came out quickly, the service was pleasant, and the staff were attentive, which left a very good impression. I’ve found another restaurant that makes me want to come back.

About a 2-minute walk from Tennoji Station, Yakiniku Horumon Bungo Tennoji Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy Oita Wagyu "Bungo-gyu (Bungo beef)." They buy whole cattle and serve every cut, including rare parts.
The restaurant has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The meat is cooked over a gas flame on a Teppan-yaki grill. The dining room is said to have very little smoke or lingering odor.

The meat, hand-cut in the restaurant by skilled meat craftsmen, is said to be high in both freshness and quality. Every cut has beautiful marbling, with a rich aroma and plenty of flavor.
Among them, many people say the "Negi Tan Shio (salted beef tongue with green onions)" is especially tender and delicious.

The "temaki aburi niku-zushi (hand-rolled seared meat sushi)" is something you can enjoy not just by eating, but by watching too. The staff sear the meat right in front of you and wrap the sushi before serving it, and that performance is a big hit.
The fat melts just enough to give it a rich, melt-in-your-mouth taste, with a nice fragrant note that makes it outstanding.

The meat was fresh overall, and the Wagyu in particular was tender with plenty of rich flavor. The Horumon also had very few off notes, and it was easy to eat even after grilling. They also have slightly unusual items like meat sushi, which is a nice point because you can enjoy a variety of dishes. Side dishes like salad and soup are also carefully prepared, which adds to the overall sense of Manzoku with the meal.

Yakiniku Manno Tennoji Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant run by a company that also operates a wholesale business, located in a building just a 1-minute walk from the north exit of JR Tennoji Station, with excellent access. You can enjoy fresh Wagyu selected with a strong focus on freshness, including Horumon delivered the same morning.
The interior is said to be modern and calm. The warm, attentive service is also well received.

They offer around 80 different cuts, including plenty of rare ones such as Sirloin cap. Every cut is fresh, and you can really notice the differences in texture and flavor.
At the counter seats, you can also order one slice at a time. People like this system because it lets them try more cuts.

The lunch menu is also extensive, and among the options, the "Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) Service Lunch! Thinly Sliced Wagyu Karubi" is especially popular. The rich, flavorful meat you can enjoy at lunch is said to be pure bliss.
The smoke ventilation system works very well, so smells are less likely to cling to your clothes, making it an easy stop even while you're out and about.

You can enjoy high quality meat even at lunch, and another nice point is that you can order not only from the lunch menu but also from the regular menu. Many people may think of Manno as a place for nighttime Yakiniku, but I really recommend coming for lunch too.

If you want to eat Yakiniku in Tennoji, this is one place you absolutely should not miss! The thick cut tongue is especially outstanding, amazingly juicy and packed with flavor! Even though it is thick, it is tender, and the meat's flavor spreads with every bite. It was at its best with a little squeeze of lemon. The inside of the restaurant also feels clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and left a great impression.

Of the various dishes I had, I personally liked the diced lean steak and the sukiyaki roast beef slices the most! The diced steak was excellent, with the rich flavor of lean meat concentrated in each bite. The sukiyaki roast beef slices were also delicious, with the tasty fat from the well-marbled meat coated in egg yolk.

The smooth, soup-like sauce was full of flavor from the vegetables, and I enjoyed it all the way to the end without getting tired of it. The Hamburger Steak itself was nicely tender too, with a pleasant texture that came apart easily with a spoon.

Even the thick cut steaks are said to have a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
The Chateaubriand is served pulled apart with a fork after grilling so the meat fibers stay intact. Some reviews even praised it as amazingly good.

The freshly cooked Clay Pot rice made especially for Yakiniku to finish the meal is very popular. It is cooked in a Clay Pot with seasonal ingredients such as sanma (Pacific saury) and sakura ebi (small cherry shrimp) together with the rice.
It is said to be so good that some people want to come back just to eat this. Another nice point is that if you cannot finish it, you can take it home.

There are three kinds of salt tongue alone on the menu, and the most popular is the "House Specialty! green onion salt tongue," topped with plenty of green onions.

What stood out most was the jo-mino (premium Mountain chain tripe)! There are counter seats and table seats, so you can enjoy a lively Yakiniku meal!
