The curry made with generous portions of Kyoto brand meats such as Kyo no Niku (Kyoto meat) and Kyoto Pork is popular.
The [Kyotanba Kogen Pork] pork loin cutlet curry is said to pair well with the roux, thanks to the sweet, rich fat and tender texture of this Kyoto brand pork.

・Beef belly curry stewed in demiglace sauce
The dish I had was beef belly curry stewed in demiglace sauce, and the beef belly had been cooked until it was fall-apart tender, so I could easily break it up with a spoon. The key curry sauce had a slight tang and a moderately spicy roux, and it was very delicious.

・Curry with nibuta (simmered pork) cooked for 6 hours and a soft-boiled egg
The curry served in a Clay Pot has a rich spice aroma from the moment it hits the table. That said, the heat is balanced so well that even people who like spicy food may find the “medium hot” level just right. It is the kind of flavor that lets you enjoy depth rather than just heat. The nibuta cooked for 6 hours is so tender that it falls apart as soon as you touch it with chopsticks.

When I asked if the green curry was spicy, they said it was fairly spicy, but when I tried it, it was not that spicy and had a nice, tasty level of heat. The tom yum kung (Thai hot and sour soup) that came with the set was something I had not eaten much before, but it tasted pretty authentic to me.

Even though the shop name changed, the curry is still as good as ever. I think the lineup and prices have not changed either. The seats were full, so I tried Takeout for the first time. Nepal is a country with deep rooted diverse cultures, nestled between the major nations of China to the north and India to the south. I have never been there, but the food cultures of both neighboring countries are beyond question. There is no way Nepali food, which has surely been influenced by both, would not be delicious! Paired with refreshing Nepali beer, I happily enjoyed giant naan and a variety of fragrant dishes.

Of course you can order just one, but you can also get a 2-curry or 3-curry Combination. "A. Chaos Keema" is said to have a nice balance of house spices.

A recommended topping is "gai yang (grilled chicken from northeastern Thailand)," an arranged version of a traditional grilled chicken dish from northeastern Thailand.
It is said to be juicy, with a sweet, spicy flavor. For dinner only, they serve the "Khao Suea Gai Yang Plate."

The curry here has a nice kick of spices and tastes great! I recommend the 3-curry Combination. Of course, spice curry is great with just one kind, but it is also really good mixed together as a Combination. For toppings, the gai yang (Thai grilled chicken) is grilled until the outside is crisp and lightly charred, and that texture works really well with the spices.

Among them, the popular choice is the Cheese Naan, which is said to be filled with plenty of cheese. Other options also get good reviews, including paratha (layered whole wheat flatbread with butter).
・C-Lunch with added mutton curry
I went with the hottest level, cho-gekikara (super extra hot). That is the reason I came, after all. Even so, it is properly tasty, with heat that still lets you feel the richness and umami. The mutton has a firm bite, with big chunks of meat throughout, while the chicken in the spinach curry falls apart easily and was easy to eat.

I was hungry, so I went in thinking curry would be quick and a good choice. They had three kinds of curry, so I got the assortment with all of them. The place was busy and every seat inside was full. For spice curry, the taste was on the mild side. It felt a bit health conscious, maybe. But I was very satisfied. I’ll stop by again.

Indo Nepal Ryori Kyoto Dining is an Indian and Nepalese restaurant near Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion) (officially Rokuonji), famous for its beautiful exterior covered in gold leaf.
It is known as a calm place where you can enjoy satisfying curry and naan.

The “Butter Chicken Curry” is a popular menu item, rich with mellow butter and balanced with just the right mix of spices.
There are also many other kinds of curry, including the “Mutton Bhuna Masala,” made with stir-fried lamb and tomatoes.

The All you can eat and drink course includes chicken, seafood, and vegetable curry, along with several kinds of naan.
They also serve authentic clay oven grilled bone-in meat, tandoori chicken, and its rich spices seem perfect for drinks.

The best part of All you can eat is being able to enjoy “small amounts of many different kinds of curry, but as much as you like.”・Rich butter chicken・vegetable curry with the natural sweetness of vegetables・keema curry with a sharp spice kick・dal curry (lentil curry) with the distinctive aroma of Nepal. Each one has a clear character of its own, which makes comparing them fun.

This was a place I stopped by casually. They have lots of locations across Japan, but the taste really does vary depending on who makes it. At this shop, both the naan and the curry are delicious. You can also order lunch until 17:00. The lassi was good too. It’s a place I’d like to visit again.

At Restaurant Kaibotei in Hama, Maizuru City, you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the sea from the window.
In addition to curry made from a recreated Maritime Self-Defense Force recipe, they also offer a wide range of Japanese dishes such as sashimi, tempura, and udon.

This restaurant has been issued a certificate by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force minesweeper Aishima, recognizing it as a curry-serving restaurant.
The "Aishima Original Ebi Curry" made with fresh ebi (shrimp) is said to have a nice shrimp aroma and a deep, rich taste.

At "Aishima Original Ebi Curry," a set that comes with nikujaga (a Japanese home-style dish of meat and potatoes simmered in a sweet-savory sauce) and salad is also well balanced and recommended.
The photo shows it with Kara-age added as a topping, and other options include tonkatsu (pork cutlet).

Today, I went with the Aishima Curry Set (Aishima curry, nikujaga (Japanese meat and potato stew), salad, and a drink) and added a Kara-age topping. It was my first time coming at night, so I was glad I could spend time enjoying the night view of Maizuru Bay, which felt different from the daytime. The curry was a shrimp curry, and each bite filled my mouth with the flavor of shrimp.

I went for the kaigun kare (navy curry). The curry I came for had a rich flavor and was very good. They also seemed to have a wide variety on the menu. The atmosphere inside was calm, and I liked being able to enjoy my meal while looking out at the sea and taking in the beautiful view from the window.

The A la carte curries come in a wide range of styles, including masala curry with multiple spices and creamy coconut based options.
Among them, the "Butter Chicken Curry" is especially popular, with people saying it is rich and delicious.

It is also nice that you can choose the spice level of the curry.
The naan is large and filling. The A la carte naan lineup includes options with melty cheese, minced meat, and dried fruit kneaded into the dough, so you can choose based on your taste or to match your curry.

First, the kebab! It was more filling than expected and really tasty✨Next came the curry. This time, I had the medium-hot spinach curry. The deep green curry had just the right level of spice and went really well with the naan. The set's tandoori chicken and shish kebab were also reliably good, and I was very Manzoku. But in the end, the cheese naan caught my eye, so I ordered it. That was tasty too, and I finished it in no time.

I ordered the double set with keema curry. As always, the naan is really big♡It’s very filling! I can never finish the naan, so I share some with my family. The curry of the day had big pieces of eggplant and large potatoes in it. I love keema curry, so I always order it. You can also choose the spice level♪. The portions are very generous, and I’m fully satisfied, Manzoku Manzoku.

Located in the peaceful Chitosecho area of Kameoka City, KIRI CAFE began as a base for an event called Kameoka Kiri no Geijutsusai (Kameoka Mist Art Festival).
This kominka (traditional Japanese house) cafe retains the charm of a building that is about 100 years old. The garden view is soothing, and the atmosphere has a calming feel.

The curry uses fresh vegetables from Kameoka (a city in Kyoto Prefecture) delivered by local farmers.
With 3 to 5 side dishes that change with the seasons, plus locally grown kuromai (black rice) and white rice, this is a locally sourced plate that brings out the charm of the region.

The popular curry is the “Kiri no Yasai Nishu-mori Curry,” a vegetable assortment curry that lets you enjoy the different flavors of vegetables and beans on one plate.
To bring out the flavor of the organic vegetables, they blend several kinds of spices, giving it a gentle taste.
Mi19991110
The side dishes came with lots of Kyo-yasai (Kyoto vegetables), and they were very tasty, healthy, and great( ˆ ˆ )The curry tasted like it was carefully made to bring out the best in the ingredients, and I was completely Manzoku! The rice was also delicious and spot on. I was happy to get to eat dishes I do not usually have. And above all, the interior, renovated from a kominka (traditional Japanese house) by art university students, was really wonderful!

I had the vegetable curry and pound cake! The shop is set in a kominka (traditional Japanese house), and it had a really relaxing atmosphere! The vegetable curry came with all kinds of vegetables seasoned in different ways, and they were all really delicious! I’d love to go again if I get the chance.
