You can enjoy skewers made in house every day, using meats ranging from standard cuts to rare parts such as Domestic beef and Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu).
The "Special Roast" uses A4〜A5 rank Special Spencer roll. This nicely marbled roast is very tender and goes perfectly with rice.

They also offer course meals that come with standard izakaya menu items and All you can drink.
The chijimi (Korean pancake) appetizer is said to be packed with shrimp and very satisfying. It has a crisp texture and a home style flavor that feels comforting.

If you're dining solo, it's nice that you can order from just one skewer. I finished feeling satisfied with 2 medium bottles of beer, 5 Omakase skewers, tan-saki (tip of the tongue) green onion salt, Outside skirt, akasen (part of the stomach), and seseri (neck meat). The staff were friendly, and customers kept coming in one after another.

The liver here is amazing! So good!! They serve top quality grilled liver on a Teppan-yaki plate, so you can sear it or cook it more yourself✨Kaku pin! It's super fresh, with a nice firm bite, or maybe more like a plump texture, but anyway this is a great skewer spot, and it was so good I ordered another liver skewer♡

Awabi Mura is a restaurant where you can enjoy abalone prepared in a variety of ways, using live abalone from the large tank inside the restaurant. It is in a great location, about a 1-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station.

The “Horoyoi Set” lets you choose your favorite awabi (abalone) dish. The “awabi no sashimi (abalone sashimi)” is very fresh and seems to have a nice texture.

I came here to try the tokusei awabi-gayu (special abalone rice porridge)♪ It was my first time having awabi-gayu, and it was so good that I want to eat it again! It had a nice sesame oil aroma and flavor, and it was delicious!! The onma (mother) was kind too

Anyway, it’s all about awabi (abalone), and this much volume at this price is just too cheap. This is a recommended restaurant I’ve come back to again and again. The staff are friendly too, so there’s really nothing to complain about.

Sumibiyakitori to Konnyaku no Mise Tsugumiya is a casual place where you can enjoy sumibiyaki (charcoal-grilled) yakitori made with Yamato Nikudori (Yamato chicken) and asa-biki dori (freshly butchered chicken), along with konnyaku dishes.
In addition to lively counter seats, there are calm Private rooms with Sunken kotatsu seating. It is also easy to get to, about a 5-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station.

The popular item is the “Hon Tsukune Sumibiyaki,” made by adding konnyaku (yam cake) paste to chicken thigh and seseri (neck meat) and then slowly grilling it over charcoal.
It is said to have an irresistible juicy and soft texture. With a wide range of flavor variations like grated daikon with ponzu sauce and cheese, you will not get tired of it.

They have a wide selection of drinks, including Japanese sake, craft beer, and sherry. They also offer izakaya-style dishes that pair well with the drinks.
As for the konnyaku (yam cake) dishes, the more you chew the konnyaku, the more flavor comes out, they say.
sherry...
The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) were small and easy to eat, and although I usually do not eat much tare (sweet soy based sauce), it was incredibly good when they served it Omakase. The seats were spacious and comfortable, and the staff created a nice atmosphere, so I definitely want to go again.

Chan Shokudo is a restaurant where you can enjoy their carefully made kimchi Chige, with broth drawn from pork bones. It is on the first floor of YS Building, about a 10-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station.
The space is designed in the image of a traditional Korean house, so you can also enjoy the atmosphere of Korea itself.

Their signature “kimchi Chige” is made without chemical seasonings, using broth taken from pork bones. The set meal comes with freshly cooked rice made in a kama-taki (pot-cooked) style.
The Chige has just the right level of spice and is easy to eat. If you pour corn tea over the crispy rice at the bottom, it turns into nurungji (Korean scorched rice soup).

The drink menu has a wide selection, from Korean liquor to standard favorites, so you can also use it as an izakaya (Japanese pub).
The "ogyeopsal set (thick-cut Korean pork belly set)" made with premium pork is very filling. Reviews also rate it highly, saying it is fun because you can enjoy a variety of Korean dishes.

Sumimoto is a popular spot for chicken dishes like yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and kushiyaki (grilled skewers), located about a 5-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station.
The cozy interior has counter seats where even solo diners can stop by with ease. Since the number of seats is limited, a reservation is a must.

They serve Kara-age, skewers, and sashimi made with carefully selected chicken such as Yamato jidori (local chicken) and asa-biki jidori (freshly slaughtered local chicken), along with standard izakaya favorites.
The seseri (neck meat) comes in large portions, and its just-right springy texture and salty flavor make it especially satisfying to eat, according to reviews.

A popular way to finish off drinks is the cream-filled "carbonara."
The sauce is creamy and rich, and it comes with lots of thick sausage, so it is very filling.
You can enjoy a variety of izakaya dishes centered on yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)️. Each yakitori skewer was a bit on the large side and really satisfying to eat! I especially liked the cheese tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) topped with melted cheese, which was delicious with the juicy tsukune and the rich, junk-food-like appeal of the cheese. The slightly rare skewers such as sasami (chicken tenderloin) and liver were also well prepared and tasty.

The recommended dishes written above the counter are all tasty, and the drinks are good too. The popular menu item is “Tsumura Honten no Kawachi Gamo Roast Duck Breast.” It uses kawachi gami (Kawachi duck) that is raised with great care and is said to be the only duck in the world that can be eaten raw.
It is said to be delicious, with the savory aroma of light searing and the rich umami and sweetness unique to duck meat.

A popular way to finish off the drinks is the nama-men yakisoba (fresh noodle fried noodles). You can choose either chewy thick noodles or smooth thin noodles.
Whether you go with the thick noodles or the thin noodles, both use fresh noodles, so they have a satisfyingly chewy texture. Paired with the rich sauce, it is said to be excellent.

The drink lineup also shows real care, including the manufacturer-certified “Perfect Kuro Label (Perfect Black Label)” and rare Japanese sake (this time, I had Kikko Hanabishi). Tsuruhashi often has a strong image of Korean food, but places where you can enjoy great washoku (Japanese cuisine) and Teppan-yaki like this are hard to find.

The aburi-sashi (lightly seared sashimi) is excellent, with the rich flavor of lean meat and clean, light fat. Each obanzai (Kyoto-style home-cooked side dish) let the flavor of the ingredients spread across the palate without relying on unnecessary seasoning. Their daily specials, which stay ahead of the season, are popular. They use fresh fish brought in from the market every day.
The "otsukuri moriawase (sashimi assortment)" is said to be exceptionally fresh. It looks almost artistic, and every slice of sashimi is said to taste great.

About 10 kinds of Japanese sake are available, mainly dry styles. They also offer assorted varieties available of izakaya dishes that go well with Japanese sake.
The "dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet)" has a soft, fluffy texture and is said to be so tasty that your Japanese sake goes down fast.

They offer a wide variety of dishes, and every one of them seems like a great match for alcohol. The dish that left the biggest impression on me from what I ate this time was the kani miso (crab tomalley) cream croquette. It was really delicious. The friend I went with was impressed too.

愉快なおっさん
I think even raw fish tastes even better when you lightly sear it, because it gets rid of any off notes. I happily ate away while drinking Japanese sake. I think it was Isojiman. Feeling good as I drank, I ordered another snack. It was grilled karasumi (dried mullet roe). Yes, grilled again. But this was also great as a snack to go with the sake. I think it was about as good as it gets.

The popular "tori Yakiniku (grilled chicken)" is served Yakiniku-style, with bite-sized cuts that you grill yourself until fully cooked. A charcoal shichirin (small charcoal grill) is set at each table.
It is said to have a nice crunchy texture and a tasty seasoning with a good kick of spice.

Draft beer and highballs are said to be popular drinks here. They also have a full lineup of izakaya-style side dishes.
The chiritori-nabe (griddle-style Hot Pot), made with plenty of vegetables and chicken, is very filling. It is said to have a sweet and spicy flavor and taste great.

The 5-kind meat assortment is quite filling. I had a great time grilling it over charcoal with a friend. It’s a place I’d like to visit again.

It was easy on the wallet, the menu had lots of choices, and everything was very good. We had chicken yakiniku and chiritori-nabe (square griddle Hot Pot). The yakiniku had many different cuts, and the seseri (neck meat) that I love was especially delicious. We grilled eggplant too, and that was also very good.

In addition to course meals, they also offer an All you can drink option for drinks only, so reviews say they are happy that even solo diners can order All you can drink.

When hardly any places in Tsuruhashi (area name) are open, being open until 5 is a big help. And at that hour, even though this was our second stop, the low price of the All you can drink plan drew us in, so we went with All you can drink. The food was also reasonably priced, and there was a wide variety of menu items.

They also offer a 90-minute All you can drink option, and the food was reasonably priced, which was great for us since we wanted to try lots of different dishes. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was good, and they also had a la carte dishes and seasonal recommendations, so I do not think you would get bored. I would like to go again.

Gyoza no Kacchan Tsuruhashi Ten is a gyoza restaurant just steps from Tsuruhashi Station, built around the concept of “fun to look at and great to eat.” Since it is close to the station, you can relax and enjoy drinks until the last train.
The spacious interior has table seating that can accommodate up to 70 people.
Photograph:レオモ
The main item, Kacchan Gyoza (dumplings), is said to be the flavor they finally arrived at after the chef went back to the drawing board and reworked the recipe from scratch.
The moment you take a bite, the aroma of garlic fills your mouth, and the well-balanced harmony of vegetables and ground meat is said to be irresistible.

They offer A la carte All you can drink and All you can eat and drink menus. They also have a wide variety of Kara-age, a classic izakaya menu item.
The freshly fried “momo Kara-age” is crisp on the outside with a light texture, and it goes great with drinks.

The sashimi and fried rice were both delicious, and I was very Manzoku. The staff were friendly, which was nice! Smoking is allowed inside, so I think this place is also a good pick for smokers!

They use fish that is carefully sourced. They offer a wide range of fish dishes for snacking and a great variety of sashimi options.
For sashimi, you can of course order your favorite items A la carte, but if you want to try a variety, the "Otsukuri 6-shu assortment" is recommended. Japanese sake pairs perfectly with sashimi.

With All you can eat and All you can drink, this quality is totally worth itヽ(*´∀`)ノI ate and drank a ton. It was a Private room, the staff were funny and kind, and it was a very comfortable place to spend time. Thank you, I drank a whole lot of Japanese sake

The aburi saba kizushi (lightly seared vinegared mackerel) was insanely good—every bite made the fat overflow. This is exactly how mackerel should be! I really love mackerel when the rich fat just bursts out. The otsukuri (sashimi platter) was also generous in size, and the basashi (horse sashimi) and basashi yukke (seasoned raw horse meat) were tasty too.
