Niku no Ichinohe Omori Ten

Niku no Ichinohe Omori Ten is an izakaya (Japanese pub) just a 3-minute walk from the east exit of Omori Station, with a wide range of carefully selected meat dishes.

The calm interior has both table and counter seating. It has a reputation as a comfortable place where you can relax and stay for a long time.

They offer a wide range of kushiyaki (grilled skewers), from classic choices to more unusual ones, and many people seem to enjoy them with drinks.

The kushiyaki (grilled skewers) are crisp on the outside and juicy inside, and they seem to serve them fresh off the grill before they cool down. They also have assortment menus.

The simmered dish the restaurant recommends is said to be a signature item they feel confident enough to want every guest to order one plate each.

It includes daikon radish and tofu simmered in a large pot, and it is slowly cooked in a gentle broth so good you can finish every last sip.

Karen0321

The liver steak and Heart steak grilled over a shichirin (charcoal brazier) were delicious, very fresh, and had no off notes. The otoshi (small appetizer) with ikura (salmon roe), the nira-tama skewer, and the shuto and nori French fries were my favorite flavors in particular☆Overall, the seasoning was on the stronger side, which made the highballs go down easy! The happy hour value was amazing and made it even better.

I ordered the popular rebateki (lightly grilled liver) and motsuni-komi (stewed offal). You grill the rebateki yourself over a shichirin (small charcoal grill). It was fun. I enjoyed it with a sesame oil sauce, cooked just the way I like it!

Tokyo Shell Ishiuo

Tokyo Shell Ishigyo, about a 2-minute walk from Omori Station, is a well-regarded izakaya (Japanese pub) known for its wide variety of shellfish dishes and food that pairs well with drinks.

The interior, inspired by an open bar in Cuba, is said to have a retro and relaxing atmosphere. It is also a good choice when you are looking for a stylish place.

They offer a wide variety of shellfish dishes, including raw oysters made with seasonal oysters and an assortment of sashimi with fresh shellfish.

They also have a self service alcohol vending machine, so you will want to enjoy a drink with the shellfish dishes. They have a great selection of carefully named cocktails and Japanese sake that pairs perfectly with oysters.

The oden menu made with hamaguri (hard clam) broth is also well liked. Along with classic items like “daikon radish” and “egg,” they also offer shellfish oden.

The shellfish broth soaks well into the ingredients, and some say it tastes excellent. It is a must order dish in the colder months.

The entrance was in an unexpected spot, so I felt a little excited going in, and inside I found a fun space with a Showa retro atmosphere. Every dish was very good, and the oden (Japanese hot pot) in particular was excellent! I’d love to go again.

It felt like a place with lots of regulars, but the staff were so welcoming that I think even first-time visitors will find it easy to stop by. In the stylish interior, we enjoyed lots of tasty seafood, and the drinks kept flowing. Each dish also had great volume, and we left very full and very Manzoku.

Iwashi Ryori Saikaku

Iwashi Ryori Saikaku, about a 2-minute walk from Omori Station on the Keihin-Tohoku Line, is a popular izakaya specializing in iwashi (sardine) dishes, where you can enjoy a wide variety of iwashi dishes along with good drinks.

The interior has a nostalgic old-school feel, and besides counter seats, it also offers raised Sunken kotatsu seating. It looks like a place where you can relax and take your time.

They offer a lineup of dishes that are just right as drinking snacks, made with fresh ingredients brought in every morning from Toyosu.

The photo shows the popular "ume shiso maki (plum and shiso roll)," which is also a hit in reviews. The rich flavor of sardine sashimi pairs wonderfully with the taste of plum, making it such a great dish that you may end up drinking a bit too much.

You can enjoy iwashi (sardines) not just as sashimi, but in many styles including grilled, simmered, and fried dishes.

On the grilled menu, many people order the "sanga-yaki (grilled minced fish patty)." It seems to feel almost like an iwashi Hamburger Steak, with a healthy feel that lets you enjoy it without guilt.

k_kak445

I was able to enjoy these luxurious dishes at a fairly reasonable price! Everything was delicious. The blue-backed fish three-item assortment is a lovely menu item that you do not often see. The iwashi (sardine) dressed with sesame sauce also made me want to try making it myself. It was a lineup of elegant and lovely dishes.

The sardines are so fresh that there are no off notes at all, and you can fully enjoy rich, fatty, delicious sardines. My personal top picks are the ume shiso roll and gari (pickled ginger) roll, and they go great with drinks・・・

The "Horse Meat Kara-age" is made with lean horse meat, and is said to be so juicy that the meat juices spill out with every bite. It is just right as a casual snack to go with drinks.

The signature “sakura-niku (horse meat) sukiyaki style” is nice because you can enjoy it all year round, not just in the colder months. This popular dish features horse meat Chuck Eye Roll dipped in egg before eating.

Horse meat sukiyaki is said to have a lighter taste than beef, which makes it easy to enjoy.

KONN

I knew it would be healthy, but I also got to enjoy the tasty richness of the fat depending on the cut. It was also my first time trying Kara-age. It was rare, tender, and delicious. And yet it came with less guilt. I also had the sausage, the unusual spinal cord Kara-age, and finally horse meat garlic rice, and I was very Manzoku! The drinks also have lots of character, including lightly sparkling Japanese sake from Kumamoto.

チビキイウイ

This is a restaurant specializing in basashi (horse meat dishes). When I think of horse meat dishes, all that comes to mind is sashimi and sakura-nabe (horse meat Hot Pot), but I learned there are many other kinds too, like stews and tsumire (minced meat balls). None of them had any off notes, and even though I ate a lot, I never got tired of them and enjoyed every dish.

Shukou Shunsai Takumiya

Shukou Shunsai Takumiya is a hidden gem Japanese izakaya about a 3-minute walk from Omorikaigan Station, tucked away on a back street off the main road in front of the station. It is popular for seafood dishes made with fresh fish sourced from the market.

They go to Ota Market and Toyosu Market every morning to carefully select and purchase seafood.

They have more than 20 kinds of Japanese sake and shochu, and they pair very well with the fish dishes. Among the wide variety of seafood dishes, the recommended picks are especially the "osashimi assortment (sashimi assortment)" and the "grilled fish 3-item assortment."

They offer several kinds of ramen, and many people seem to order one as a finishing dish after enjoying drinks.

The photo shows the "Kawamata Shamo Shoyu Ramen." This bowl is made with a soup from Kawamata Shamo (brand chicken) and pork, blended with several kinds of soy sauce, giving it a clean yet rich taste.

食べ歩きぶらん

All of the appetizers were good, but the "osashimi assortment" and the "otsumami pizza" were especially tasty and paired well with Japanese sake. They also still serve authentic and delicious ramen. It was great that adults could enjoy appetizers while the kids could eat ramen.

けゆさん

A place where you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese sake❗️I visited this restaurant because it is a regular spot for an acquaintance. The staff had a great vibe, and each dish was carefully made and very tasty. They also had a wide selection of Japanese sake, and the otsumami piza (snack pizza) was especially good. I finished with ramen, and that was also perfect.

POCHI3110

The interior has many Private rooms, the seating is spacious, and the atmosphere was nice. We chose the course meal, and every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and showed real care. The portion sizes were just right too. The staff service was good as well, and they brought our drinks and other orders quickly.

The Ume Suisho and crab miso are irresistible. The gindara (sablefish) miso marinade is also great. The sashimi assortment too. Everything is tasty.

misako.u

They have a wide range of Japanese sake, so it’s perfect for people who enjoy drinking. The draft beer is Yebisu. After two beers, I switched to Japanese sake. Since the premium sake is rare, it’s limited to one cup per person. Without hesitation, I ordered my favorite Jikon, and it was excellent! There were plenty of other drinks I wanted to try too! The regular sake lineup is also good.

ポテナゲ大

While I was having a hard time deciding what to order, I spotted yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) cheese fondue, a menu item that was nothing but tempting! I couldn't resist and ordered it. While I waited with seseri (chicken neck meat) that I ordered on the side as a snack, the star of the show finally arrived. Just looking at the melty cheese made me happy. Bonjira (chicken tail), thigh meat, asparagus wrapped in bacon, and tomatoes—everything tasted great dipped in it.

あむあむぷー

The location is by no means great, but the reason it is still full is the taste. The seasoning, especially the salt, is spot on. There are only counter seats, but the place is lively. They also have some Japanese sake that is not on the menu, and you can enjoy it with the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). You could say this is a yakitori place that stays true to the basics. The usual pattern is to order the 8-skewer course, then add whatever you like. This is what yakitori is all about.

The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) were plump and juicy! Everything was delicious. The salad was seasoned just the way I like it, and it was just the right amount for two people to share. (It felt like a good size for 2〜3 people.) Since you can also drink standing at the bar, it seems easy to stop by quickly on the way home. I’ll definitely visit again!

I made a reservation and visited for the à la carte menu. I have been here many times, but there were no familiar staff members working that day. Still, everyone was very friendly and the service was pleasant. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was as good as ever, and you could tell it was prepared with care. The Kara-age was tasty too.

I ordered a course because I did not want the hassle of choosing. I was glad they brought each skewer out one by one, freshly grilled. There is no choice between salt and sauce, and they serve each item in the way that suits it best. Every skewer had large pieces and tasted great. The drinks selection is strong, with plenty of wine and Japanese sake.

The hijiki no nimono (simmered hijiki seaweed) includes chikuwa (tube shaped fish cake) and hoshi shiitake (dried shiitake mushrooms). It is really good. The haze (goby) tempura is also unusual. Bites like this make great snacks with drinks. Sipping your favorite drink little by little with premium nori (seaweed) as a snack is also really fun, and it feels like a luxurious time. To finish, I had my favorite tai (Sea Bream) kabuto-ni (simmered fish head). There were lots of unusual Japanese sake options, and I tried them one by one. Every one was wonderful!

I quickly knocked back a draft beer, then had a second drink with yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) bonjiri (tail), Heart, and seseri (neck meat). The way they were grilled was nicely fragrant and excellent. The shirasu (whitebait) with lots of green onion was a surprise. With a huge amount of green onion about the size of an index finger, shirasu, and a perfectly balanced sauce, it was addictive. The motsuni (stewed offal) was also packed with ingredients, and the drinks kept going down fast.

Just a 1-minute walk from Omori Station, this place is very easy to get to. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a classic old-school taishu sakaba (casual Japanese pub). Red lanterns glow outside, and it is always lively with lots of people. There are counter seats and table seats, so it works well whether you want to drop by alone or enjoy drinks with friends or coworkers. What makes it appealing is how easygoing and comfortable it feels without any formality.

Sumibi De Toriya

Sumibi De Toriya is a creative izakaya (Japanese pub) about a 5-minute walk from Omori Station, where you can enjoy authentic yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and carefully selected seasonal jizake (local sake).

Inside, the restaurant has a calm wa-modern (Japanese-modern) space, with a clean and comfortable atmosphere.

The yakitori, made with freshly butchered Shingendori (brand chicken), is carefully skewered by the owner personally. You can choose between the house special tare sauce and salt for seasoning.

Besides yakitori, they also offer a full lineup of creative skewers with lots of character, including gyu harami (beef Outside skirt) served with grated daikon and ponzu sauce, and the bright looking tomato-maki (tomato wrapped skewer).

One of the highlights is that you can enjoy Special Japanese sake, shochu, and Japanese whisky carefully selected from around Japan.

They also offer hearty course menus that bring together the restaurant's popular dishes. For those who want to fully enjoy plenty of food and drinks, the 3-hour course is recommended.

Each skewer is carefully grilled over sumibi (charcoal), with an excellent balance of smoky aroma and juiciness. The negima (chicken and scallion skewer) and liver in particular are cooked perfectly, really bringing out the quality of the ingredients. The sasami (chicken tenderloin) skewers are served simply with wasabi or plum for a refreshing touch. This lineup will really hit the spot for yakitori lovers.

Visited with family. The tori no sashimi (chicken sashimi) was very good. The tori no yukke (seasoned raw chicken) was also tasty. The yakitori was grilled really well. I was happy that the draft beer was Sapporo Kuro Label (Sapporo Black Label).

Manten Sakaba Omori Ten

Manten Sakaba Omori Ten is an izakaya (Japanese pub) just a 1-minute walk from the east exit of Omori Station, where you can enjoy skewer dishes and drinks, and it is said to have a lively atmosphere that lets you relax without feeling formal.

It is a casual spot for everything from a quick solo drink to a round with close friends, and some customers even stop by every day.

One thing you will definitely want to order when you visit is their most popular item, yakiton (grilled pork skewers). They offer a wide range of cuts too, including tonbara (pork belly) and Outside skirt.

For the yakiton, you can choose your seasoning from salt, tare sauce, or miso. They also have a full lineup of easygoing dishes to enjoy with a drink in hand, including yakitori and kushikatsu (deep fried skewers).

The restaurant offers a lineup of Homemade à la carte dishes crafted by skilled chefs with a focus on great taste, and reviews often praise the specialty Nikomi (stewed offal).

The slowly simmered secret paitan (rich white broth) is said to be full of the good flavor of pork offal. Dissolving the special spicy miso into it brings out even more depth and richness.

This is the Omori branch, the first Manten Sakaba store. The snacks are also reasonably priced, including yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), yaki-ton (grilled pork skewers), and sashimi. My drink recommendation is hoppy; when you order a refill of shochu for the middle, they pour in plenty until you tell them to stop. I’d like to come again. It was a great meal!

ガイヴ

We started with a toast over draft beer, and the otoshi (small appetizer) was macaroni salad. The drink menu is extensive, with an especially wide selection of sours, and we enjoyed a variety of tasty items such as kushiyaki (grilled skewers) and fried dishes that fit the feel of a casual taishu izakaya (casual Japanese pub). With its relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, this is a great place for a get-together with friends.
