A yakitori restaurant where you can pair your meal with many different kinds of beer. Stylish places like this often tend to serve things a bit on the rare side, but here they grill them relatively well-done. It suited my taste. They also seem to have a Private room, so it’s also great for business dinners.

Simmered dishes are also one of the popular menu items. The simmered Sea Bream is said to be outstanding, with springy flesh soaked in the cooking broth.
The sweet and savory seasoning apparently goes perfectly with both rice and Japanese sake. The staff will kindly tell you about their recommended Japanese sake.

Even from the outside, the restaurant gave off a great vibe and was very lively. The menu looked handwritten, which made the lineup of dishes even more exciting. The seafood we ordered, especially the sashimi assortment and simmered Sea Bream, was excellent and had the kind of flavor that would make you want several bowls of rice! The staff were also very courteous, and it really made me want to come back again♂️

Since I was here, I quickly ordered the sashimi assortment. It was incredibly fresh and really delicious! And beautiful! They also have a great selection of Japanese sake to go with the sashimi, which was fantastic. What impressed me most was the "nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) grilled with salt." Served whole, the nodoguro had plump flesh rich with high quality fat, and each bite released a full aroma through the nose. The perfect level of salt brought out the nodoguro's natural sweetness, making it a truly blissful taste.

Toranomon Raku is an izakaya where you can enjoy creative Japanese food, with a strong focus on rice dishes, and its Clay Pot rice and sushi are also popular.

The "shunsai no moriawase (seasonal ingredient assortment)," elegantly arranged with dishes made from seasonal ingredients, is well regarded. The thoughtfully crafted dishes are also bright and colorful. You can savor the season and enjoy a relaxed time with a drink.
The original tea drinks with shochu are also said to pair perfectly with the Japanese food and come recommended.
The Clay Pot rice is slowly cooked with specially grown Koshihikari rice from Iwafune, Niigata, together with seasonal ingredients.
The photo shows the “Wagyu Sirloin cap and mushroom Clay Pot.” The fat from the meat soaks in just right, giving it a different kind of good flavor from fish takikomi gohan (seasoned rice cooked with ingredients).

We had an assortment of side dishes, fish oden, Kara-age Pacific saury, pike conger with maitake mushrooms and with simmered eggs, nigiri (hand-formed sushi), and ginshari (cooked white rice). The food is simple but shows real care, and you can also enjoy a wide range of drinks! The ginshari comes with several accompaniments, which is a nice bonus.

It took us a while to choose because the menu was so extensive, from signature dishes to creative seafood-focused dishes and Clay Pot rice. The "shinkoccho! kujira no harihari Hot Pot" is a whale meat Hot Pot dish simmered in broth with mizuna (potherb mustard) and other ingredients. Simple as it is, the whale's rich flavor melts into the soup, making for a full, satisfying taste.

The kujira (whale) sashimi is known for its outstanding freshness, with no off notes at all and a great taste.
From cuts with a melt-in-your-mouth texture to ones with a pleasant bite, you can enjoy a range of different parts and experience the depth of kujira.
Lean cuts are high in protein and low in fat, with a clean finish. I like to start with sashimi to enjoy its clear umami, then add more savory depth with lightly seared dishes and steak-style preparations. Pairing it with the owner’s selection of Japanese sake at different temperatures brings out different sides of the flavor. They also offer courses that combine whale dishes and fresh seafood, making this a place where you can have both “healthy × Manzoku.”

Everything was just my kind of flavor! I especially couldn’t stop eating the soup, which came boiled with your choice of shellfish! By the way, it was the ethnic flavor♪

We went with a course that included All you can drink, and every dish was delicious. There was also a wide selection of wines that my dining companion ordered, so we were very Manzoku ❗️

Every rare cut is seasoned in a way that suits it, and tastes great. If you tell them what kind of Japanese sake you like, they will serve one to match, and it pairs well with the yakitori.

You can choose from a wide lineup of both food and drinks.
Among them, the "kushiyaki (grilled skewers)" is a well-reviewed dish, featuring chicken grilled over charcoal until fragrant. The thick, juicy yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is packed with flavor in every bite and pairs perfectly with clean-tasting drinks.
There are also many menu items made with lamb.
The "Mongol-fu Genki Salad" is a salad with thinly sliced lamb and an assortment of vegetables. The lamb has no strong distinctive flavor, and people say the dressing matches it perfectly and tastes great. It is said to be a perfect dish to start with.

This restaurant uses a touch panel ordering system, which makes it especially nice because even solo diners can use it without feeling awkward. You can eat at your own pace without worrying about the people around you, so it feels relaxed and enjoyable. The menu is also extensive, with so many choices that it is hard to decide. The dishes actually ordered were all better than expected, and the quality was high.

All seats are in Private rooms, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and taking your time! The negitoro (minced fatty tuna) topped with ikura (salmon roe) looked luxurious and tasted just as great. The fresh oysters were topped with ikura too, which made them feel extra indulgent, and the Fresh Scent of the Ocean spread with every bite. The stir-fried lamb with cumin had a curry-like flavor and a taste you keep coming back to! The sashimi was also fresh and cut thick, and everything we ordered was a hit.

The limited pairing set, "Japanese wine and yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) to experience the finest marriage," lets you enjoy rare wines from Toriibira Imamura, the oldest winery still operating in Japan.
The wine has a gentle mouthfeel, and pairing it with yakitori lets you enjoy how the wine’s own flavor changes as well.

I really appreciated that they listened to our various requests for the food. Since I couldn’t eat the tataki (seared and finely chopped dish) in the course, they changed it to something else, and they also cooked it well done for us. We ordered the 7-skewer course plus a variety of extra items. There are not many yakitori places that are easy to visit with children, so I was very happy. The staff were also very kind! It was delicious.
