Bon Bonheur

Bon Bonheur is a cafe created through a collaboration between the popular Western confectionery shop La Maison Shirokane, based in Shirokane, Tokyo, and the patisserie Sebastien Bouillet in Lyon, France.

It is located on the 4th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, about a 9-minute walk from the Ginza Exit of Yurakucho Station. The space seems bright and relaxing.

You can enjoy French based dishes and sweets paired with tea and other drinks. Many items are beautifully presented, so they are a treat for the eyes as well.

A popular choice is the reservation only afternoon tea set. You can take your time enjoying a variety of flavors, including special sweets and small sandwiches.

The "Complet" set is also popular, letting you enjoy 8 well-balanced French dishes in small portions, including fish, meat, and vegetable dishes. It also comes with bread and soup, making it perfect for lunch.

The restaurant is said to make you feel like you're in a café in France.

The top tier is lined with the house specialty, the Sebastian Bouillet Special, which looks gorgeous and has a very Special feel. What stood out most was how good the light savory items were. The authentic French deli items and sandwiches had an excellent balance of flavors, and were enjoyable as a meal that went beyond the usual afternoon tea. Among the sweets, the opera (chocolate cake) was especially memorable.

・French Assort Saison
Four items: small shrimp and pomegranate, duck and mushrooms, smoked salmon, and chicken. Every one of them is delicious, and they leave you wanting a little more. If you have something like sparkling wine with this, it is sure to go down amazingly well. This plate also comes with mekiseleri (leaf celery) soup and rye bread. Even the iced coffee is really good.

Mercer Brunch Ginza Terrace

Mercer Brunch Ginza Terrace, located on the 4th floor of a building along Chuo-dori, is about a 3-minute walk from Yurakucho Station and is popular for its hearty brunch that feels like a hotel breakfast.

The interior is a stylish space based around white tones. The terrace seating, which looks out over Ginza's main street, also has sofa seats, making it a pleasant place to spend time.

The theme is "luxury ingredients in a casual setting." You can casually enjoy food like the kind served at a high-end hotel.

The signature item is the "brioche French toast." It is kept mildly sweet so it also pairs well with the meal menu, and you can add more sweetness with the syrup served alongside.

The afternoon tea, which changes with the seasons, is also popular. Savory bites and mini sweets are neatly arranged on a two-tier stand.

It also comes with a parfait layered with ice cream, cream, and fruit, as well as sweet French toast, for a luxurious cafe time.

メグルメ。

I relaxed and chatted with a friend. The open atmosphere felt comfortable, and it was the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned. Their signature French toast was more filling than I expected, with a nicely toasted outside and a Creamy texture inside. It was sweet enough and very satisfying.

I had Basque cheesecake and Catalana. Both were rich and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The sweetness was just right, and they went perfectly with tea and coffee♡I visited on a weekday afternoon, and I was happy that it was not too crowded so I could relax. Even though it is a popular place, it still has a bit of a hidden gem feel, and even though it was my first visit, I ended up really loving it!

I ordered a simple American waffle for Breakfast set (JPY950 with a drink). Unlike a Belgian waffle, it had a crisp texture, with butter and maple syrup soaking in, giving it a completely different mouthfeel. It was really delicious and so light that I finished it with ease.

Both the taste and presentation are refined, and it impresses me every time. The smiles from the staff and their warm service are wonderful too. On the second-floor lounge, you can also talk in detail about the products, and it feels just like a private salon.

After a health checkup prompted me to rethink my eating habits, I decided to visit SONOKO CAFE near my workplace. I had assumed additive-free and oil-free food would be bland, but it was nothing like that. I chose a hamburger under 500Kacl, and it was full of flavor with a filling portion that left me Manzoku.

ミロ次郎

Step into this slightly retro, timeworn building, and you will find a multicultural space inside. All the seats are sofas, apparently. ANGEL CHAMPAGNE Ginza Ten

This shop, the world’s first flagship store of the Champagne brand ANGEL CHAMPAGNE, is located about an 11-minute walk from Yurakucho Station along Hanatsubaki-dori (Hanatsubaki Street).

The interior is inspired by the brand’s luxurious bottle design. The space is based on gold and white, giving it an elegant and upscale feel.

The popular item is the reservation-only "Afternoon Tea Set." It seems you can enjoy a gorgeous and elegant set that matches the image of the shop.

There are also sets themed to the season and special events, and their carefully arranged assortment is popular.

They also offer champagne by the glass, but the non-alcoholic cafe menu is extensive.

Another highlight is the beautifully done latte art on the surface of the cafe latte, including the brand logo. With sparkling cutlery and cups, it looks like a great place to enjoy a glamorous cafe time.

もふもふぐるめ

The café au lait is a cup topped with finely textured foam that shows off the brand logo beautifully. This delicate design is very high level. Paired with the texture of the cup & saucer, it feels like “café au lait as an experience.” It is just right for savoring slowly.

Ima Kashitsukasa Ginza Fugetsudo

Imakashi Tsukasa Ginza Fugetsudo, on the 3rd floor of a building along Miyuki-dori, about a 5-minute walk from the Yurakucho Station South Exit, is a cafe run by a wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) shop founded in 1872.

The cafe space has only about four counter seats, where you can enjoy freshly made sweets in a calm setting.

You can enjoy sweets that add a fresh touch to traditional wagashi (Japanese sweets) techniques, paired with drinks such as matcha (powdered green tea) from Uji, Kyoto.

The classic Japanese sweet "cream anmitsu (sweet agar jelly dessert with red bean paste)" combines refined anko (sweet red bean paste) with ice cream and other toppings. They also seem to offer limited-time anmitsu.

It also feels like a luxury to watch the careful process of finishing the sweets right in front of you. In summer, you can see delicate work such as preparing kakigori (shaved ice), and in autumn, piping Mont Blanc cream.

Since the number of seats is limited, it is a good idea to make a reservation.

ma-chank

Music was playing, yet the space felt quiet, relaxed, and comfortable. It gave me a feeling similar to the time I spend at a temple gazing out at the garden, or standing still in front of a beautiful painting at an art museum and sinking into its world. In a place like that, the matcha cream anmitsu (green tea cream agar dessert with sweet beans) I enjoyed at a leisurely pace was, of course, delicious.

The afternoon tea is themed around seasonal fruits and flowers, so you can enjoy something different each season.

There are about 7 kinds of sweets alone, and about 5 kinds of savory items. It is also popular that they serve ochazuke (rice with tea broth) as a salty palate cleanser partway through.

Tea and some other drinks are self-service. They also have herbal tea, nihoncha (Japanese tea), and Chugoku-cha (Chinese tea), so it seems you can enjoy a wide range of drinks as well.

ちいさなうさぎさん

Both the savory dishes and sweets are all delicious. The portions are just right, not too small and not too much. Partway through, they serve salmon ochazuke (rice in tea broth) as a palate cleanser, and the tea-free selection includes soup options like minestrone and tori paitan (creamy chicken broth), so this is also recommended for people who find only sweets a bit much!!

JAPAN PREMIUM LOUNGE CAFE is a cafe on Ginza Corridor Street, about a 12-minute walk from Yurakucho Station, and it also operates as a lounge for a hired car pickup area.

This cafe is built around the concept of wa (Japanese style), with displays of bonsai and kimono, plus a solid single-slab wood counter decorating the Japanese modern space.

With its blue wooden fence and wooden door, and perhaps because it has no noticeable sign, some reviews say it feels like a hidden gem where you can relax and take your time.

The drink menu focuses mainly on Japanese tea, along with coffee, Japanese whisky, and Japanese sake.

They also pay close attention to the tableware, so you can enjoy it in warm ceramic cups. Even the step of pouring it from a kyusu (Japanese teapot) seems to add to the charm.

The tea selection includes not only varieties like Earl Grey and Darjeeling, but also Japanese black tea made in Japan. It seems they also have tea with a floral aroma.

A little away from the bustle of Ginza, I found a refined space that felt just like a hotel lounge. JAPAN PREMIUM LOUNGE CAFE is truly a hideaway for adults, where the beauty and calm of Japan coexist. On this day, I had green tea ice cream and Japanese sweets. Surrounded by the bright colors of kimono (traditional Japanese robes) decorating the interior, I spent a moment that felt soothing to both the eyes and the heart.

めぐ鍋

The interior is bright and spotless〜Is this really Ginza (upscale Tokyo district)? It was so quiet that I forgot it was even Saturday♪ It made me feel a new side of Ginza. I almost don’t want too many people to know about it〜lol. I only drank espresso, but they also have several kinds of tea, and I think 2.000 yen in Ginza is a great deal. I’ll definitely come again〜♪
