There were lots of rare craft beers and Japanese sake, and I really enjoyed them! Every dish was absolutely delicious too! The phantom Wagyu Ozaki-gyu (Ozaki beef) was especially outstanding, and the meat sushi was so good I could have eaten any number of pieces! The carpaccio was also great, with fresh sashimi that tasted amazing! The super fluffy satsuma-age (fried fish cake) went incredibly well with Japanese sake too!

The atmosphere was nice, and the food was well balanced too. It felt more refined than hearty, so it might not be enough for people who want to eat a lot. But it was just right for us! Even the All you can drink option made us very happy, since it included Premium Malts, wine, and Japanese sake brands we like!

The kushiyaki (grilled skewers) were really delicious. The shiro reba (creamy chicken liver) was melt-in-your-mouth, and the heat was just right. They also had seafood skewers, and those were good too. And what surprised me most was the To finish ramen. It was so good it could stand on its own as a ramen dish. It was light, but maybe the broth was made from chicken stock? It was wonderfully done! It was really delicious. This is a place I can recommend with confidence.

A drinking party with work colleagues. It was hot, but with this group, Japanese sake was a must. Noge has lots of places, so there were plenty of options to choose from. We picked this place for its wide selection of Japanese sake. The first drink was beer, and after that, we took our time choosing Japanese sake. It was the middle of the week, but we got fairly drunk.

There is an otoshi (small appetizer), so first we made a toast with beer! We had fruit tomatoes and eggplant, and everything was high quality and delicious! The sashimi was fresh, and it was a wonderful place with local sake from Kanagawa and many rare Japanese sake options! You can choose the amount of alcohol starting from just one ochoko (small sake cup), so I recommend it both for people who want to try a variety of drinks and for those who do not drink much. The seats inside the barrel did not seem to be available unless you had a reservation. I would like to come back again.

In Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, a 3-minute walk from Sakuragicho Station, Yakitori Kankodori is known for its highly creative course meals.
In a calm Japanese modern space, you can enjoy a course centered on authentic yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) while watching the grill area. The service is also polite, making for a comfortable and pleasant time.
Photograph:大石貴幸
The yakitori served here centers on jukusei Hinai jidori (dry-aged Hinai local chicken), along with other high quality chicken that is dried and aged in house to bring out plenty of umami, then carefully grilled and served.
Their signature "Negima" is a carefully crafted skewer made by grilling the chicken meat and skin separately, then finishing it with negi (green onion) in between. The香ばしさ of the skin, the savory taste of the meat, and the sweetness of the negi come together, creating a memorable skewer with three layers of flavor in a single bite.
Photograph:にゃぽログ⭐︎
The "aka nasu (red eggplant)" from Kumamoto is an impressive skewer that sets the tone for the start of the course.
It has a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich umami, with the flavors of sesame and ginger blending perfectly into its fragrant, lightly charred taste. It is said to offer the kind of satisfaction you would expect from a meat dish.
osyaneko
The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) also impressed me with the careful prep, where they remove the skin once and then put it back. The phrase a fusion of yakitori and French cuisine fits perfectly, with smoky aroma and delicacy living side by side. We ended up finishing 2 bottles of wine, and each skewer paired beautifully with it, which naturally made the conversation flow more deeply.

The signature "Sashimori 5-ten (5-piece sashimi assortment)" is a well-known dish with a lavish presentation, featuring thick-cut fresh seafood delivered directly from Toyosu.
Every piece of sashimi, including tuna and scallops, is firm and packed with flavor, with a nice plump texture as well.

There is a wide variety of lemon sours, and their refreshing taste brings out the flavors of the food.
The "sweet shrimp Kara-age" is especially good, with its crispy coating and rich sweetness making a great match, and it is perfect as a snack with drinks. This pairing goes down light and easy.

Excellent access, just steps from Kannai Station! The interior feels clean, with a stylish wa-modern (Japanese modern) atmosphere. Their specialty, hon-maguro (bluefin tuna), lets you enjoy different kinds of flavor in each cut, and the freshness was outstanding. The assorted sashimi platter was very generous and completely Manzoku. They also have a wide variety of lemon sours, which is a nice touch since you can find a flavor that suits your taste.

It was really lively and packed with customers, but the food came out quickly. Ordering by smartphone was super convenient! The seafood was incredibly fresh and high quality, and the prices were easy on the wallet. The funamori (boat-shaped sashimi assortment) was especially amazing〜the tuna, salmon, and scallops were beautifully arranged and a feast for the eyes!

O'denbar Umami Yokohama Kannai is an izakaya in the downtown area of Yokohama, Kanagawa, known for its delicious oden.
The aroma of dashi broth drifts over the counter, and the space offers a calm place to spend time while watching the owner’s careful handiwork. It is perfect for small groups.

The oden (Japanese one-pot stew) with its clear broth is popular for its refined Kansai-style flavor, with a gentle umami taste and deep richness.
The broth soaks well into every ingredient, including daikon radish, eggs, and konnyaku (firm yam cake), giving it a comforting taste.
The popular dashi wari with Japanese sake is a drink made with Japanese sake and oden broth.
People say the gentle savory flavor that sinks into your body becomes addictive, and it is especially popular in the cold season. You can enjoy the harmony of the fragrant broth and Japanese sake.

First, we started with a beer toast and ordered oden (Japanese stew). The ingredients were fully soaked with flavor. So good! Then we switched to Japanese sake and drank a lot! I liked the Kujira Japanese sake. The snacks besides the oden were also good, so the drinks kept flowing. To finish, we asked the staff and went with the dashi curry. This was also so good! A Manzoku restaurant.

With the All you can drink only course, we ordered whatever dishes we liked. The assorted oden and sashimi from the A la carte menu were as tasty as ever! The summer oden is also highly recommended. The potato salad and rillettes that we always pair with wine also went well with Japanese sake and sours!

The calm Japanese modern interior feels comfortable, and at the counter seats, you can also enjoy chatting with the owner-chef.
The "osashimi no moriawase (sashimi assortment)" in the photo is a gorgeous plate with a variety of seafood, including hon-maguro (bluefin tuna), white fish, squid, and octopus.
The thick-cut slices are extremely fresh, and each bite leaves a memorable taste as the sweet richness of the fat and the umami spread across your palate. It also pairs perfectly with Japanese sake, according to reviews.

The tempura corn locks in the sweet taste of the season, and people say the crisp batter and the popping texture of the kernels are great.
With each bite, a natural sweetness spreads across your mouth and keeps you coming back for more, and some people even find themselves ordering another serving.
This is a must-visit spot for seafood lovers! The sashimi assortment, especially with honmaguro (bluefin tuna), was cut thick and as fresh as it gets. It melted in my mouth and tasted amazing. The Japanese dishes, including grilled fish and simmered fish, were all seasoned with care and every one was a hit. The calm atmosphere inside makes it really comfortable, and with such a wide selection of Japanese sake, you may end up drinking a little too much.

From the otoshi (small appetizer) of steamed cabbage in a bamboo steamer to the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and the a la carte dishes, everything is delicious, and they also have a great selection of drinks. Above all, the staff's service is wonderful and always lifts my spirits! This is one of the few places that works well both for visits with kids and for adults going out for drinks. It was a great meal today too!

The drink selection is extensive, and the wide variety of umeshu (plum wine) is especially impressive. They also stock Japanese sake from breweries in the local area of Kanagawa Prefecture, which adds to the appeal since you can discover labels unique to this place. The convenient location right by the station also makes it easy to get home smoothly even after taking your time and enjoying your meal.

It felt like a bar specializing in Japanese sake, and it was an interesting place where you could enjoy Japanese sake with dishes you would not normally pair with it. The portions are on the smaller side, so even solo diners can enjoy trying a variety of dishes. If you like Japanese sake, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
