Fukuoka Prefecture [Hakata City] restaurants with great steak

Seiki Hitoshina

Seiki Hitoshina is a steak restaurant tucked away on a back street within walking distance of Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line, with table seating, raised tatami-style seating, and counter seats by the window.

The space is stylish and refined, and they say you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace.

The menu has just one carefully crafted item: the “Dashi Steak Clay Pot Rice set meal.”

The steak uses Tenderloin from “New Zealand grass fed beef,” and each piece is carefully and gently cooked on a lava plate before being served.

They source pesticide-free brown rice directly from rice farmers and mill only the amount needed each morning.

They also offer a full lineup of Special toppings, including shio natto (salted fermented soybeans) from Yamagata, tororo (grated yam) from Fukuoka, and grilled nori (seaweed). It is also said to be especially good to enjoy the egg and steak on top of the rice.

よつば66905

The Clay Pot rice was freshly cooked and delicious! The meat was tender and very tasty too. I was wondering what dashi steak would taste like, and to me it felt like thick cut roast beef with a sukiyaki style flavor? It might be a good choice when you want to enjoy a light Japanese style beef dish. It was delicious.

Source:よつば66905's review

The care that went into everything was clear, and the gently seasoned meat, dashi (broth), rice, and nukazuke (rice bran pickles) were all very delicious. Even though they were busy, the staff cooked a fresh batch of rice when it ran out, so I was able to enjoy the meat and dashi to the very end. I will definitely visit again if the timing works out. It was a great meal!

Akamiya Koushi

Akamiyakoshi is a steak restaurant about a 5-minute walk from Watanabedori Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. It has counter and table seating, as well as couple seats and zashiki (tatami seating), so it works for all kinds of occasions.

You can enjoy meat aged to the best condition in the restaurant's own aging room in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The Kyushu-produced Wagyu lean cuts include several options such as "Outside knuckle," "Top sirloin," and "jukusei tan (aged beef tongue)," and they grill them in blocks by 100g units.

The photo shows the "Wagyu Outside skirt," which is said to have great meat quality and a tender texture with a nice sweetness.

The restaurant's signature "Tenderloin Katsu Sandwich" is a simple yet striking dish.

It features rare Tenderloin tucked between nicely toasted slices of bread.
Some said the doneness was spot on and the meat juices were nice and juicy.

路地裏ごはん録

The main event was the Chateaubriand! The fat was refined in quality, and it melted away the moment it hit my mouth. Just when I thought that was the end, there was one final surprise. The beef Tenderloin cutlet sandwich. The softness, the savory aroma, the sweetness of the sauce...it was the biggest shock of the day. The drinks lineup was so good you would never guess it was All you can drink. Bottled beer, highballs, gin and tonics, even Mitake (shochu) on the rocks! Such great taste.

naito443

Outside knuckle, Top sirloin, and jukusei tan (aged beef tongue) are all outstanding. They are juicy with lots of meat juices, and the salt seasoning is perfect. When you eat them with garlic pickled in soy sauce, the savory flavor spreads all at once. Outside knuckle and Top sirloin in particular are irresistible for fans of lean meat. The jukusei tan is thick cut yet tender, with just the right amount of springiness. The more you chew, the more its aged flavor comes through, making it a very satisfying plate.

Samejima Seinikuten

Samejima Seinikuten is a steak restaurant located just steps from Yakuin Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. The interior is said to be a refined space for adults, with 13 counter seats surrounding the kitchen.

This is the place to go if you want great meat in Fukuoka! It is a popular restaurant with many reviews saying just that. Recommended for special occasions and Special days.

The restaurant is said to buy whole rare, high quality female cattle for its carefully selected meat.

In the live kitchen, you can also watch the chef grill the meat on a low temperature Teppan-yaki griddle, using bare hands and feel to judge the doneness.

The restaurant serves steaks in a range of cuts, including Strip loin, Top blade, and togashi (a shoulder cut).

By locking in the meat’s juices and rich flavor, they create a deep taste you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

hashi-kazu-55

Strip loin, Sirloin cap, rump, Tenderloin—the meat is so good, sourced from selected producers through whole cow purchasing❗The Tenderloin was outstanding. It was unbelievably tender and also juicy❗It even had a fresh, juicy feel, which really impressed me‼️I want to come back just to eat this again. It opened a new door for me☺️It was a great meal

30歳独身女

What surprised me was that the chef grilled the meat with bare hands. They say the meat is cooked slowly over such low heat that it can be touched by hand. Doing that seems to lock in the juices as it cooks. And that really was true—one bite into the meat and juices came pouring out, almost as if it were a lemon.

For seafood, we had oysters and a lobster cocktail ♡Both were really good〜The sauce is spicy and tasty, right? I was Surprising by the flavor of the Strip loin〜! The meat itself tasted so good!

It is located inside the Hyatt hotel directly connected to Canal City in Fukuoka. The atmosphere is excellent. There are many seats in the dining room, and I was able to make a reservation without any trouble. I visited with a party of four. We ordered the classic T-bone steak and Spencer roll. Since I like fatty cuts, I ate more of the Spencer roll. As expected, the meat was tender and delicious.

HiroHiro999

This was my first visit on a trip to Hakata. I was torn between the Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) kalbi Teppan-yaki and the house specialty tender, but since I was here, I went with the signature tender. It was very tender and really good. It tasted best kept simple with salt and pepper!! It made me want some wasabi. The roast beef Rice bowl looked good too.

I visited for a birthday dinner. The interior is stylish, and we ordered a course meal. The staff carefully explained each dish one by one, which made the food even more enjoyable. When I made the reservation, I had asked in advance to add one extra dish to the course meal, and they provided it just as requested.

This time, we decided to focus on gibier. First was ostrich carpaccio. It was my first time trying it, so I had no idea what to expect... It looked like basashi (horse sashimi), and the taste was close to basashi too, maybe with even fewer distinctive notes than basashi! It was delicious! I always end up ordering the liver pâté. It was even better than I expected. These meat dishes are only possible because they know meat inside and out. They have a real spirit of exploration, and everything is creative and Homemade. It comes with salad, grilled eggplant soup, bread or rice, the main dish, and coffee. The Hamburger Steak is not the kind that is extra juicy with lots of meat juices, but the kind that lets you really taste the flavor of the meat. ・If you're talking about gibier cuisine, this is the place・Their wine knowledge is seriously impressive・The owner has a real passion for gibier. I visited again for the first time in a while. As always, their dedication to gibier is amazing!! And the seasoning on the gibier dishes is spot on. They serve it in all kinds of ways, like yukhoe and gyoza ✨I fully enjoyed the gibier dishes, and yes, this place wins~♪♪♪♪

It’s a counter-only restaurant, but it felt homey and comfortable. The meat is great! You can eat kamo (duck), inoshishi (wild boar), venison, and many other kinds of gibier (game meat). The owner is kind and very friendly. Also, the rich pheasant stock risotto was so good it made the wine go down easy. I’d love to go again.

Steak no Don Shimosone Ten

Suteeki no Don Shimosone Ten is a steak restaurant within walking distance of JR Shimosone Station.

The homey interior has a nostalgic feel, with table seating and box seats that make it easy to stop by with family or friends, or even on your own.

The popular "jukusei riburoin suteki (aged rib loin steak)" is a carefully made specialty, slowly aged to bring out the full flavor of the meat.

You can choose from 150g, and you can also pick how it is cooked and which sauce you want. For an extra charge, rice, bread, and soup become All you can eat.

They offer a wide variety of cuts, from rare parts that only a very small amount can be taken from a whole cow to more approachable cuts you can enjoy casually. They also have Hamburger Steak and seafood dishes, so one of the nice points is that you can enjoy your favorite combination.

The photo shows the trimmed steak, which is said to have a satisfyingly hearty texture and is recommended for days when you want to dig into a big meat meal.

I was more interested in the Hamburger Steak than the steak, so I went with the set that came with Gekiatsu Steak. The Hamburger Steak was packed with juices and even more plump and juicy than I expected. It came with sauce, but I happily ate it with rock salt and pepper while it was still piping hot. It also came with free refills of soup, rice, and bread, so going there hungry was absolutely the right call.

I tried ordering the reservation-only set that comes with the super popular steak, a mini salad, and a drink bar. Since it was a reasonably priced steak, I was a little worried the meat might be tough, but it was cooked to a nicely rare doneness, and the meat was tender and tasty. The soup and bread are all-you-can-refill, but since I ate 2 plates of salad, I was full and didn't need any refills.
