Daisen Herb Dori (herb-fed chicken) is chicken raised on herbs in the rich natural surroundings of Tottori Prefecture. The meat is tender with no off notes, and it is known for its rich flavor.
The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), finished over charcoal to lock in the flavor, has a great reputation for being excellent across the board. There is also a wide variety, including rare cuts. It also pairs perfectly with beer, they say.
Photograph:ぎんじろう☆彡
The restaurant also serves izakaya dishes that pair well with drinks. The “Hokkaido korokke (potato croquette)” in the photo is a simple potato croquette with a nice buttery flavor.
The “Kinoshita Mankitsu Course,” where you can fully enjoy Daisen Herb Dori (herb-fed chicken from Daisen) and which also comes with All you can drink, features Omakase dishes and is recommended for those who want to drink plenty.
としぼー
The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) here is really good! Even if you are fairly full, you can still eat it with no trouble! The chicken nanban is also delicious!!! I had Imo Shochu, and Yanchi had a draft beer for our second toast! This is a nice hidden spot for adults that works well as either a first stop or a second stop.

食音ピエロ
Every yakitori skewer was excellent. The skewers were carefully grilled over bincho-tan (high-grade white charcoal), crisp and fragrant on the outside and juicy inside. I especially can’t forget how the negima (chicken and scallion skewer) was bursting with juices, and how light and fluffy the tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) was. The flavors went great with drinks, and before I knew it, I was ordering another beer.

For those who want to drop in for a casual drink, the course with an Appetizers assortment, a finishing dish, and 90 minutes of All you can drink alcohol is recommended.
The assortment of Appetizers made with carefully selected ingredients looked beautiful too! The grilled skewers were also really delicious. The food was excellent across the board, with real thought put into the presentation, flavor, portion size, and creativity. The All you can drink selection was also extensive, ranging from wine to shochu and Junmaishu, with plenty of options. They had a step above the usual picks for the drinks as well. (They even had Kanehachi among the shochu.) The interior was bright with a calm atmosphere, and I had a great time♪ It is also nice that you can enjoy daytime drinking♪

Itadakiya is a casual izakaya known for its suji-nikomi (simmered beef tendon stew) and fresh seafood. It is about a 2-minute walk from Sakaihigashi Station. The large white paper lantern at the restaurant serves as a landmark.

The "suji nikomi (beef tendon stew)" is a signature dish simmered in a large pot at the entrance of the restaurant, with the beef tendon cooked until meltingly tender and the daikon radish simmered until it fully soaks up the dashi broth. It has a light, slightly sweet seasoning and goes great as a snack with drinks.
You can order it a la carte, but you can also enjoy it in any course that comes with All you can drink.

The fruit in the gorogoro sour (fruit-filled sour cocktail) was especially tasty, and the oi-sour (extra sour refill) was not watered down and tasted just right!! Sumibiyaki Tori Sakaba Torishin is a yakitori izakaya on Prefectural Route 210, about a 3-minute walk from Otori Station. Here you can enjoy dishes made with On-the-Day sourced, Special chicken.
The interior has the lively feel of a casual izakaya. The first floor has counter and table seating, while the second floor has zashiki (tatami seating).
The "Oyadori Momo Sumibiyaki" made with thigh meat from Satsuma Chiran-dori (free-range chicken from Chiran, Kagoshima) that is raised long term in southern Kyushu is one recommended dish. It is quickly grilled over charcoal to lock in the flavor and give it a smoky charcoal aroma.
The meat is known for its firm bite, and the more you chew, the more juicy flavor comes out, making it a great match for drinks.

The chicken nanban (fried chicken with tartar sauce) is especially popular for being so good. They top the crisp fried chicken cutlet with plenty of house made tartar sauce made with carefully selected eggs.
It is also very filling and offers a high level of Manzoku. You can enjoy it with any full course that comes with All you can drink or order it a la carte.

The three of us started with Kara-age, then had tasty tsukimi tsukune (chicken meatballs with egg yolk), chicken nanban, mentaiko tamagoyaki (rolled omelet with pollock roe)❓, and assorted varieties available yakitori. The standard french fries the person next to us ordered looked so tempting that we ended up ordering them too lol. We got to try all kinds of dishes, and I also had about four drinks by topping up my frozen chu-hi (shochu highball) with extra shochu, but it was still very reasonable.

Since this is Tosa cuisine, I ordered a glass of local Kochi Japanese sake, and with the small cup underneath, it was basically almost two full glasses. That kind of generous spirit is exactly the Tosa style. Seafood + Japanese sake is obviously a great match. The food, the drinks, and the portions all left me fully Manzoku. First, a toast with beer. I like that they have Heartland. This first glass really hits the spot after work. To start, I went with my favorite Taroyan specialty, doteyaki (beef tendon stewed in miso). It is often served in a small bowl or similar dish, but at Taroyan it comes on skewers, which I personally find easier to eat and prefer. The sweet and savory flavor really soaks in and whets the appetite, making the beer go down fast.

At Social Light, you can enjoy drinks while grilling and eating high quality kamo (duck) and chicken yourself.
The compact interior is stylish, with only 13 counter seats. It has an atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in even on your own. It is located a 3-minute walk from Sakaihigashi Station.
Photograph:あとぅ
For the duck, they use Kawachi Gamo (premium Domestic crossbred duck), a top grade duck with rich flavor. For the chicken, they use Yamato Nikudori (free-range chicken from Nara Prefecture). It is said to be juicy and full of strong flavor.
The "Omakase assortment" in the photo is a good pick when you are not sure what to order. You can tell them your budget when ordering.
Photograph:あとぅ
Another plus is that they also offer izakaya menu items beyond grilled dishes, so you can enjoy a variety of food without getting bored.
The photo shows "torikawa ponzu (chicken skin with ponzu sauce)," a perfect snack to go with drinks while you wait for the meat to arrive. It features chicken skin topped with plenty of green onions, served simply with ponzu, a seasoning made by mixing citrus juice and vinegar.

Everything goes great with alcohol. I drank about four beers for the first time in a while. No, more than that, I really ate too much. I still feel a little hesitant about casually dropping into a tachinomi (standing bar) alone, but this is the kind of place where I could do that.

Described as a place for drinks and grilled dishes, this spot lets you grill all kinds of ingredients on a Teppan-yaki hot plate, and it offers plenty of food that goes well with alcohol. They also serve curry. What’s more, you can eat Tsumura Honten’s Kawachi-gamo (Kawachi duck) here too. I love duck, so that made me happy. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and I was very Manzoku.

The interior has a small, homey feel. It has counter and table seating. It is also easy to get to, just a 2-minute walk from the south exit of Sakai Station.
They offer courses with All you can drink and A la carte options. There are also two types of All you can drink only courses, and the "Premium" option lets you enjoy shochu and Japanese sake as well.

A key feature of the sushi is the rice, which uses a house blend of akazu (red vinegar). Its balanced acidity and sweetness are said to bring out the fresh fish.
Every topping is said to be large, fresh, and tasty, making it easy to keep the drinks flowing. If you are not sure what to choose, the Omakase is recommended. You can order it in sets of 5 pieces, 8 pieces, or 10 pieces.

I booked a course that came with All you can drink including Japanese sake. From sashimi, grilled dishes, and fried dishes to the final course, it was a full seafood feast. I thought the meal would end with sushi, but shio soba (salt broth soba) came out after that. It was a Manzoku business dinner in both quality and quantity.

I visited with a friend, just the two of us. I was happy they had bottled beer instead of beer in mugs! For food, we ordered sashimi, potato salad, buri kama (grilled yellowtail collar), and yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). Everything was good, but my friend really liked the smoked cheese potato salad. It had a flavor like iburigakko potato salad, but since it used cheese, it was rich, thick, and delicious!

They offer both courses and à la carte. Since almost all courses come with All you can drink, this is a nice point for people who enjoy alcohol.
The "otsukuri assortment" is included in every course, though the number of items varies. It is said to be fresh and delicious, and a great match with alcohol. You can also order it à la carte.

We ordered a 1.5-hour All you can drink plan and a course meal. ◎Otsukuri assortment (sashimi assortment) ◎sawara (Spanish mackerel) grilled with salt ◎tempura ◎soba and more. The meal was centered around tempura, and it was quite filling. We paired it with draft beer and highballs

We visited with a large group. The All you can drink course was low-priced, and they served lots of dishes, so we left feeling full. It was also close to the station, which was convenient. The All you can drink selection was limited, but the owner was very nice. We’ll be back!

The signature “mentai-nose motsu-nabe (Hot Pot topped with spicy cod roe)” is popular for being filling, tasty, and great with drinks. This motsu-nabe in Sea Bream broth is topped with mentaiko (spicy cod roe), made by salting Alaska pollock ovaries and fermenting them with seasonings such as chili pepper.
You can enjoy it as part of the “Haku Tanaka Zeitaku Course” or order it à la carte.

All courses come with All you can drink. One nice point is that it includes shochu and Japanese sake as well.
The “Kyushu Mankitsu Course” includes “Miyazaki Chicken Nanban,” a local dish that originated in Miyazaki Prefecture. The tartar sauce contains mildly spicy mentaiko (pollock roe), which pairs well with drinks. You can also order it a la carte.

Everything was delicious. Of course the To finish motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot) was great, and I was also surprised by the first-time texture of the otoshi (small appetizer), like the chewy tofu. The 2 hours flew by as we enjoyed each dish that kept coming out and the drinks kept flowing. Even though we came early on a weekday, the place filled up right away. Reservations are a must.

The "raclette cheese potatoes" are said to go perfectly with alcohol. This is a traditional Swiss cheese dish where melted cheese is scraped from a wheel warmed at the cut surface and poured over the ingredients.
It is said to be rich and deeply creamy. One of its main draws is getting to enjoy the performance of the cheese being scraped right in front of you.
Marlex
The interior is very stylish, and the marinated maguro (tuna) Korean-style yukhoe carpaccio, grilled edamame with butter soy sauce, mega chicken cutlet, and the executive chef’s special demi-glace sauce were all incredibly delicious.

The food was great. The risotto stood out in particular. The way the truffle came through was just right, and it paired really well with the red wine. The atmosphere inside was also very nice and calm. The roast beef was tasty too. It was also fun to see the wide variety of drinks. A really good restaurant.

The rich soup, made with a miso base blended with tonkotsu (pork bone) broth and aromatic vegetables, is said to be so tasty that drinks go down easy.

The seating is in nostalgic horigotatsu (sunken floor seating) Private rooms. There were also about two groups of office workers nearby who seemed to be there for an After-Party. Tonight, it had to be katsuo (bonito) and the Kodawari Sakaba no Lemon Sour that has been popular these past few years! It was the perfect combo to finish the meal^ ^

I stopped by Uotami Nankai Sakai Nishiguchi Ekimae Ten right by the bus rotary in front of the station. I started with a lemon sour and the otoshi (small appetizer) for a quick drink. I chose the tako kimchi (octopus kimchi) and a seafood Rice bowl. I quickly finished everything. Total Manzoku.
