The main dish, the Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) Strip loin steak, was cooked medium-rare, letting you fully enjoy the bold character of the ingredient. It was truly a grown-up luxury. Every dish was delicious, and the course was very satisfying. With the night view as a backdrop, it was an immersive moment unfolding over the Teppan-yaki grill.

Not only was each dish delicious, but it was also great to enjoy plenty of seasonal vegetables, and the main meat dish was even better than expected. Most of all, I really enjoyed talking with the chef who served the food. The value for money was amazing, and it was fantastic!

Getsuko is a Teppan-yaki restaurant serving Wagyu steaks and casual konamono (flour-based dishes).

The beautifully seared meat is the branded beef “Saga-gyu (Saga beef) fillet steak (A5) 100g,” which meets strict grading standards.
It is said to be cooked to perfection, with a tender texture. They also offer steaks of Kuroge Wagyu and Domestic beef.

You can also enjoy homestyle Japanese yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) made by stir-frying noodles with vegetables and other ingredients, then seasoning them with sauce and more, cooked on a Teppan-yaki grill.
This restaurant uses freshly boiled fresh noodles. The homemade sauce "Buta Yakisoba (Pork Yakisoba)" and the seafood stock-forward "Kaisen Shio Yakisoba (Seafood Salt Yakisoba)" are also said to be very good.

In the chic and stylish interior, you can enjoy yakisoba (fried noodles) and Teppan-yaki in a calm, grown-up atmosphere. The Teppan-yaki here feels a little different from the usual. They grill it right in front of you, and the Teppan-yaki comes out piping hot. It was delicious☺️I was extremely Manzoku♀️

The steak is Saga-gyu (Saga beef) filet. Wasabi salt is the recommended choice, but akegarashi also goes well with it! The signature dish named after the restaurant, “Gekko-yaki,” is packed with egg and cheese, and this tasty flour-based dish has a soft, melty texture unlike okonomiyaki (savory pancake)♪ We got to chat about all sorts of things too, and had a great time!

Teppan-yaki is popular for the entertainment value of being able to dine while watching the chef cook right in front of you on the teppan.

What you can enjoy in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, is Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef), raised far away in Miyazaki, Kyushu.
In addition to high quality Miyazaki-gyu steaks that meet strict standards, they also offer seafood taken from the fish tank and spiny lobster.
kiyolucky
Everyone at the restaurant was very polite, and best of all, a range of local ingredients centered on Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) were served one after another right in front of us as we watched the chef's skillful handiwork in awe, making the whole experience a feast for the senses. Wow〜It was really good. It was a great meal! I'll definitely be back again♪

The Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) tasting comparison was great because I could enjoy the flavor of each cut. The flambé during the meal was impressive, so I enjoyed it both for the taste and the visual presentation.

Sukiyaki, a dish unique to Japan, features thinly sliced beef in a sweet and savory sauce, eaten dipped in beaten egg.
At this Teppan-yaki restaurant, one of the signature dishes is sukiyaki finished on the teppan. They will also cook any leftover egg mixture into a rolled omelet on the teppan.

We had fillet made with Saga-gyu (Saga beef) from Saga Prefecture, and the loin (Strip loin) was Manyo-gyu (Manyo beef) from Tottori Prefecture! I ordered the fillet medium rare♪It was incredibly tender, and the moment it went into my mouth it started to melt, with rich flavor bursting out all at once✨I recommend enjoying it simply with salt. The Strip loin was fairly light on fat and had a nice meaty taste✨

Special A4 Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) fillet. The chef grills it just for us with real care, and it feels like a dream❤️Watching the chef work is one of the best parts of Teppan-yaki too. The conversation flows easily, and I’m completely Manzoku. That made the whole experience even better. I heard the course makes full use of carefully selected ingredients from the Kinki region, and the Awaji onions were tasty too. Of course, the medium-rare here was the best of all!

Popular for both lunch and dinner is a unique course that includes steak made with Miyazaki Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) "Nakamura-gyu (Nakamura beef)" and okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake), an Osaka soul food.

A unique item on the menu is okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), a classic of Osaka gourmet culture known as konamon (flour-based dishes). It is said to have a rich lobster flavor, with a sauce that is also carefully crafted.
For dessert, they serve dorayaki (traditional Japanese sweet pancakes), a classic Japanese wagashi (traditional sweets). Here, the standard choice is the "Truffle Cream Dorayaki," made by grilling the batter from scratch.

You can choose between 100 g of lean red meat and 80 g of filet. It was incredibly tender, and I ate it with three kinds of yakumi (condiments). The salad had cheese and strawberries that were really delicious, and the sakura ebi (small dried shrimp) aroma of the soup was irresistible. For the final dish, I chose okonomiyaki♡It looked like cherry blossoms and was so cute♡It tasted great too, not just looked good

This casual style Teppan-yaki is known for kushi-yaki (grilled skewers) made by skewering the ingredients and grilling them.
In addition to the à la carte menu, the Omakase course, where they keep grilling until the customer says stop, is also popular.
They source ingredients every day, prep them with great care, and grill them in olive oil to make outstanding skewer dishes.
From standard vegetable, meat, and seafood skewers to creative options, the lineup is rich in variety with 47 kinds of kushi (skewers) plus seasonal items.

The style here is to sit at the counter and enjoy your meal while watching the grilled dishes being cooked right in front of you. There are tables too, but the counter gives the impression that the freshly grilled food comes out faster! Maybe because the food is meant to go with alcohol, they use quite a bit of salt, so if you prefer a lighter touch, it may be better to mention it in advance? I’ll stop by again casually!

The grilled vegetables had clear, vivid flavors with strong umami. The steak was prepared in a way that brought out the flavor of the Wagyu, and while it was marbled, it still tasted light. The grilled rice was soaked with the rich flavor of the oil from cooking the Wagyu, and it paired well with the miso soup. Overall, the sauces were excellent and full of originality.

We ordered a course, and it started with Appetizers carpaccio, and even the grilled vegetables were tasty. The shrimp was grilled thoroughly right down to the shell, which turned nice and crispy, and it was great. Of course, the meat itself was plump and juicy. A popular spot hidden away in a back alley of Higashi-Shinsaibashi. In addition to lively counter seating, it also has Private rooms with Teppan-yaki grills.
The Private rooms include a Japanese-style room with Sunken kotatsu seating and table seating as well. This Teppan-yaki restaurant is handy for a range of occasions.

There are several courses, from special occasion plans to business plans, and some say they are perfect for business meals and gatherings depending on the serving speed and what each plan includes.
The à la carte selection is also extensive, with meat, seafood, and Osaka style konamono (flour based dishes) specialties on offer.

The "yaki-yasai assortment (grilled vegetable assortment)" is prepared by a vegetable sommelier. With expert grilling that brings out the best in each ingredient, the seasonal vegetables are said to be especially good.
You can of course enjoy them as they are without adding anything, or add extra flavor with salt, ponzu sauce, and more.
STIMS
For the main Wagyu Teppan-yaki, they use Tenderloin and Strip loin from different kinds of cattle. It really made me feel that Teppan-yaki is the best way to prepare Wagyu. The rice is Tanba rice cooked in a ceramic pot, and it tastes wonderfully good.

It was a bit of a splurge, but I booked a course meal in a Private room. The atmosphere was great, and every dish was really delicious. The staff were also excellent, and I could not find a single negative point. This is definitely one of the places I would love to visit again (as long as the budget allows).

"Nikuryori Budo" on the basement first floor of the building is said to be a hidden Teppan-yaki spot that makes you want to stay and relax.
With relatively casual prices for the area and a calm atmosphere, some people stop by as their second or third place of the night and order from the à la carte menu.

A recommended Teppan-yaki dish is the steak made with Domestic Wagyu. There are options such as lean cuts and Strip loin, as well as the "Wagyu Steak Tasting Comparison (150g)."
It is said to come with several kinds of yakumi (condiments), so you can take your time and enjoy the rich flavor of the high quality meat.
Teppan-yaki skewers are ingredients served on sticks, making them easy to eat one-handed. They offer standard choices like chicken and vegetables, and they also go well as snacks with Japanese sake or wine.
Among the a la carte dishes, one top pick is the “Teppan-yaki Dashimaki (Mentaiko),” a rolled omelet grilled with dashi broth and topped with mentaiko (pollock roe).

We visited on Sunday night (with Monday being a holiday) as a party of two. This restaurant does not have that many seats, so I think it is best to make a reservation before you go. The live feel of the Teppan-yaki is fun to watch and really gets your appetite going ◎ We enjoyed both the meat dishes and the a la carte items. I also personally liked the calm atmosphere ◎ This is definitely a place I want to come back to, and I am already looking forward to next time.

Craving meat late at night... it was really delicious‼︎ Since this was our third stop, we ordered 100 each of ichibo (aitchbone cap) and lean meat. Next time, we’ll come here first and take our time. It was a great meal♪

A Teppan-yaki restaurant near the Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street, which stretches about 580m from north to south.
The stylish walls with a stone and wood-grain design create a grown-up atmosphere. They offer assorted varieties available alcoholic drinks such as shochu (Japanese distilled spirit) and wine, making it a good choice for an elegant dinner.

At Teppan-yaki Osaka, you can casually enjoy high quality meats such as Domestic beef and the "[Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu)] Sirloin cap steak."
Because each type and cut of meat offers different texture, fat richness, and flavor, it's also a great place to enjoy comparing different meats.

At this Teppan-yaki that brings out the best in each ingredient, the vegetables and seafood are said to be just as tasty as the steaks.
A dish of Hokkaido scallops and asparagus grilled with butter and soy sauce is a top recommendation that also makes a great snack.
赤星の食べ太郎
Not only is the Teppan-yaki excellent, but the shrimp and hirame (flounder) sashimi are also outstanding. What you absolutely have to try is the Sirloin cap steak, which is unbelievably tender, and you can enjoy it with a variety of sauces. The finishing mentaiko (spicy cod roe) soba and curry rice are also great! There are too many things I want to eat in just one visit, so I keep coming back again and again! Highly recommended☝️

・Here steak
Tender and juicy, and it’s great that you can change up the flavor with salt, wasabi, and sauce!
・Zuri (chicken gizzard)
The crunchy texture and satisfying bite make the flavor burst out! ◇The Sirloin cap steak is this restaurant’s top recommendation, and that hearty, really-eating-meat feeling is irresistible.

A restaurant where you can enjoy world-famous A5-rank Kobe beef in a luxurious Teppan-yaki style.
The Honten is in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, the home of Kobe beef. Kobe Beef Kisshokichi Nishi-Shinsaibashi Ten is said to have a casual, relaxing atmosphere.

Among Tajima-gyu (Tajima beef), carefully selected cuts that meet certain quality standards are called “Kobe beef,” and this finely marbled Wagyu, with lean meat and fat melting together, is said to be excellent.
The Teppan-yaki at this restaurant is served medium rare so you can enjoy the full appeal of “Kobe beef” as it is. Reviews also said the heat control was excellent.

The marbled Wagyu brand beef here is Kobe beef. The menu lists steaks from different cuts such as Strip loin, Spencer roll, and filet.
You can order from a range of plans, including lunch, seasonal courses, and the [Dinner] Shinsaibashi Course 9 Dishes, which also suits special occasions.

It was unbelievably good! Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were just right and left me pleasantly satisfied ☺️ I’ve been to several restaurants for Kobe beef lunch where the chef cooks right in front of you at the counter, but this place was by far the best.

Soemoncho, an entertainment district that shows a different side by day and by night. Quietly tucked away nearby, Teppan-yaki Kirameki offers a hideaway atmosphere where you can escape the bustle of Shinsaibashi.
The seating is counter only, set in a modern and refined space.

Top quality Teppan-yaki dishes prepared by first class chefs. With carefully planned performance, delicate work, and high level skill, they create dishes a cut above the rest.
Among the ingredients, the steak gets especially high praise, with many reviews celebrating its quality.
The sandwich is also said to be excellent, with bread pressed and grilled right in front of you, then wrapped for you to eat.
Ingredients suited to special moments are prepared here, including Special Wagyu, Ise ebi (spiny lobster), and foie gras.
There are also creative dishes that reflect the chef’s sense, including inventive plates you can only find here.

You can choose spiny lobster or abalone, and I’m glad I chose Ise ebi (spiny lobster). Its size and presence were amazing!! It was also great to watch them catch the Ise ebi right in front of me lol. I got weirdly attached thinking this little guy was about to be cooked lol. This is a place that’s worth reserving ahead for and visiting at least once!
