The crème brûlée has a smooth mouthfeel, and the crisp top is really delicious! The coffee has a nice, balanced bitterness and tastes close to mizudashi coffee (cold brew coffee)!

This time, I ordered a drink and a cake. If you order a cake, the drink comes at a set price. The cake had rich whipped cream and was delicious, and the tea latte I ordered was lightly sweet and just right!

The chewy crepe was topped with plenty of fragrant sliced almonds, cold ice cream, and rich chocolate sauce. The contrast between the crisp edges and the melting sweetness was just right, and the mix of textures kept it enjoyable to the very last bite. The staff were also polite and welcoming, and their warm smiles made it easy to relax and enjoy a leisurely time.

Wasabi625
For dessert, it came with a galette made with 100% sobako (buckwheat flour) and sobako ice cream, with a great balance of toasty flavor and gentle sweetness. There was no fruit or cream, and that simplicity let the flavor of the sobako really come through. The pastry was crisp and light, so it stayed enjoyable all the way to the end.

Kajitsuen Liber Harajuku Ten, just a 1-minute walk from Harajuku Station East Exit, is a fruit parlor that represents Tokyo. You can enjoy sweets made with plenty of seasonal fruit.
The glass-walled interior has an open feel and is said to be a stylish, comfortable space.
Photograph:yutajapan
One thing that sets this place apart is its Breakfast menu, where you can enjoy as much fruit as you like.
The "D Set French Toast" is a popular item piled so high with fruit that you can barely see the French toast underneath. It also comes topped with ice cream, making for a Manzoku breakfast from the start of the day.
One key point is that the fruit used in the sweets is cut fresh each time rather than prepared in advance.
The beautifully presented parfaits are also popular, and there is a wide variety on the menu. Shown in the photo are the ichigo parfait (strawberry parfait), said to be delicious with sweet-tart strawberries, and the mango parfait, known for its excellent fully ripe mango.
海栗ちゃん
It takes a little time from ordering to serving, but the melon parfait uses plenty of melon and looks great too! The seasonal fruit crepe also came with ice cream on top, and it was very good with lots of fruit to enjoy together. They also have pasta and doria (Japanese baked rice gratin), so it is good for everything from a meal to dessert!

Since I was here, I ordered the popular fruit yogurt. The yogurt had a light sweetness and was not too sweet, so it was very easy to enjoy. It was topped with plenty of fresh fruit, and when eaten together, the natural sweetness and tartness spread through the mouth in a perfect balance. It was a lovely moment, with a gentle taste and good flavor that made me feel warm inside.

It had been a while since I last went to Ginza (Tokyo), so I wanted to visit a stylish cafe and headed to a place said to have great waffles. The seasonal fruit seemed to be their top recommendation, but I went with the classic chocolate and cream waffle. It was not too sweet and seriously good. Even with this much fresh cream, it stayed light and crisp, then seemed to melt away in an instant.

Tokyo [Taito City] Shops Where You Can Enjoy Sweets

Kukurihime Coffee is a Japanese style cafe located about 3 minutes from Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station, near Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate). You can enjoy sweets with a Japanese feel along with house-roasted coffee.
The cafe takes its name from Kukurihime, the matchmaking deity who appears in the Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan). The interior also offers a warm Japanese style space.

The six varieties of “Kimono o Kita Parfait” are Japanese-style parfaits inspired by kimono.
The photo shows “Oiran (courtesan) Matcha and Azuki,” which expresses a hair ornament kanzashi (traditional hairpin) and a glossy kimono. It is based on azuki (red beans), chestnuts, and matcha, and is recommended for anyone who wants to fully enjoy a Japanese feel with both the eyes and the palate.
Photograph:yasu1287
The “Bonsai Parfait,” inspired by bonsai (miniature potted trees), one of Japan’s traditional cultural arts, is also popular with guests from Japan and abroad.
You can fully enjoy Japanese flavors with Asakusa’s specialty anko-dama (sweet bean paste balls), which wrap anko in kanten (agar) made mainly from red algae, imo-yokan (sweet potato jelly) also made with kanten, matcha chocolate chou rusk, and more.
さやまる1122
Many of the items, such as parfaits, kakigori (shaved ice), and cakes, look great in photos, and they also have a good reputation for taste. One standout is the parfait called "Kukurihime no Yomeiri," where you can enjoy the rich pistachio cream and the bright freshness of the strawberries. They also have options with restrained sweetness, which is a nice plus for people who do not like things that are too sweet.

Every item on the menu is a creative sweet that really shows attention to detail. Just looking at them is fun and lifts your mood. Everything was delicious, but I personally liked the anmitsu kakigori (shaved ice with anmitsu toppings) best. The kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup) and apricot syrup went perfectly with the anko (sweet red bean paste) and cream. Spending time in this lovely and comfortable shop was pure bliss.

The restaurant is spacious, beautiful, and has a luxurious feel. Since it is a kanmidokoro (Japanese sweets cafe), we ordered kakigori (shaved ice) and anmitsu (traditional Japanese dessert), and both were carefully made and very good. Also, when we asked the staff to take a group photo for us in front of the restaurant at the end, they kindly took several shots for us, which we really appreciated.

I stopped by here for a break after walking around Asakusa (Asakusa) quite a bit. Maybe because the entrance is a little quiet and tucked away, the place was surprisingly uncrowded compared with the shops around it. You take off your shoes when you enter and put them in a shoe locker before heading to your seat, and orders are placed on the tablet at the table. The floor has a tatami-style cushioned surface, which felt great on my tired legs. The omatcha (matcha) was pleasantly bitter and tasty too.

The photo shows the simplest option, "Plain (vanilla flavor)."
There is a wide variety to choose from, including “Limone (lemon flavor),” known for its fresh lemon taste, and “Sicilia Pistacchio (pistachio flavor),” where you can enjoy the taste and aroma of pistachio.
For those who want to enjoy Japanese flavors, “Giapponese (matcha flavor),” with the rich taste of Uji matcha (green tea from Uji), comes recommended.

Judging from its shape alone, this is no ordinary pudding. This pudding, called Milano purin (Milan pudding), is by far the best I’ve ever had. It has an amazing balance of firmness and sticky richness. The flavor that rises through your nose is irresistible. There may be no pudding that fits the word “rich” this well. It also pairs perfectly with espresso. So good.

This shop serves daily changing cakes. On this day, it was milk tea cheesecake. The cake had a clear milk tea flavor. You do not come across milk tea cheesecake very often, right,,? The atmosphere of the shop was nice too, and even though it is right in the middle of Shinjuku, it was a cafe where you could relax.

オムライス大好きだよ
The cafe had a warm atmosphere inside. I was able to get in right away at around 16:00. The berry cheesecake was sweet and tart, smooth, and very delicious. It was even better with the sweet vanilla ice cream. The drinks were stylish and tasty too. It was a very nice cafe for taking a break.

The afternoon tea, filled with sweets and savory bites, is popular. They offer several courses with different menus and prices.

The tart in the photo is a carefully made sweet, baked fresh in the shop every day with plenty of seasonal fruit. If you want to enjoy Japanese style flavors, the "matcha (green tea) no Shiboritate Mont Blanc" is recommended, letting you enjoy the aroma and slight bitterness of matcha.

A friend and I wanted to drink lots of black tea, so we made a reservation and visited. It was fun because they had many different kinds of flavored teas! I also appreciated being able to order by QR code. Both the sweets and savory items were properly tasty, and I especially felt that anything with a buttery flavor was particularly good, maybe because they are especially good with butter-based items.

The fruit tart was very satisfying and delicious, topped with lots of chunky fruit. The berry hibiscus tea soda was a really tasty soda that let me enjoy a berry flavor along with a tropical feel. The Earl Grey was served at an easy-to-drink temperature, and I enjoyed it while warming up my body lol

Enjoy afternoon tea at Laduree Hibiya Ten in an elegant and stylish space that feels like being in France. This is the Hibiya branch of the luxury maison founded in Paris in 1862, known as the birthplace of the macaron.
It is in an easy-to-stop-by location, just a short walk from Hibiya Park and the Godzilla statue.

Afternoon tea is available in several options. The recommended course, "Afternoon Tea LADUREE HIBIYA +," lets you choose your favorite macaron flavor.
You can enjoy not only sweets, but also savory items and drinks. Prices differ between weekdays and weekends.

You can also casually order A la carte. The cute "Fraise Laduree" in the foreground of the photo is said to be excellent, with strawberry mousse cream and coconut flavored dacquoise biscuit layers.
In the back right is "Ispahan," made with rose macaron biscuit and rose cream.

I love the fully polished world of Ladurée, so this was my long-awaited first afternoon tea. Since I could choose two macarons, I picked chocolate and white peach. Each one was made with such delicate care, and everything I tried was delicious, with flavors that seemed to open up a whole world in my mouth. There were no big surprises, but this is exactly what Ladurée is all about! The classic afternoon tea! It made me feel like a girl again.

I ordered the afternoon tea set. At first, I wondered if the portion might be a little small, but it was actually very filling and I was completely satisfied, or rather Manzoku. The atmosphere of the shop was lovely too, and it made me feel like a refined young lady. The cakes on the bottom tier were different varieties, so my friend and I split them in half, and both were very good.

With the motto of giving guests something to enjoy with both their eyes and their taste buds, they serve artistic Homemade sweets.
The parfaits, whose contents change with the seasons, are especially popular, and many people visit just for them. The photo shows the Valentine Parfait, inspired by Valentine’s Day.

The dessert menu other than parfaits also has a great reputation, with every item said to be delicious.
In the back of the photo is the "cream puff," filled with plenty of custard cream in a crisp pastry shell. The "Basque cheesecake" in the foreground may come in different seasonal flavors, and is said to be rich and full-bodied.
茶池
I made a reservation and visited with a group of 3. It is usually a popular shop, but perhaps because it was a rainy weekday, it was quite empty. The Mont Blanc was delicious, with chocolate over the meringue, and it felt luxurious with a whole chestnut inside! I was also satisfied with the cafe latte, which had a nice tangy note in the coffee flavor.

It’s not just cute to look at, the taste is great too! Each part was wonderful on its own, and the harmony when everything mixed together was just as good, so I got to fully enjoy what makes a parfait so special. The flavors, textures, and temperatures were so creative that I kept wondering what I was tasting, and since they seem to offer limited-time seasonal sweets, I’d love to visit again.

Sweets and drinks made with matcha are said to be delicious here. One especially popular item is the "Uji matcha terrine." It uses Special Uji matcha from Kyoto, the heartland of the tea ceremony, and is said to be rich and excellent.
The photo shows it with a "matcha latte" made with premium matcha from Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The "Matcha Basque Cheesecake," made with premium matcha from Uji, Kyoto, is also said to be delicious and is so popular that it often sells out.
It is said to be baked to perfection, with a Creamy texture. The rich depth of the cheese and the slight bitterness of the matcha are said to match beautifully.
さちこ飯
The sweets are great too, and canelés are so good when you have them once in a while that they get addictive♡ Alongside them I had the yellow drink "YOPPARAI SORBET." It has Daiyame, sparkling wine, and pear sorbet, and just like the name says, it tastes great but will definitely get you tipsy〜w A refreshing dessert cocktail with a smooth, easy finish.

I asked for a clean and refreshing mocktail flavored with hinoki (Japanese cypress), lemongrass, and other citrus notes, and really enjoyed it. They order sweets when it is time to change the charcoal, and the matcha terrine I had for the first time in a while was rich and is one item I would really recommend trying.
