京都、錦小路通と西洞院通の交差点にある創作和食店。
祇園祭三連休の最終日なので予約して訪問したが、予約なしの客は断られていた。
【八寸盛り付き懐石コース 全9品】4,000円(税込)
・八寸(湯葉、しめ鯖と九条葱の酢味噌和え、自家製チャーシュとポテトサラダなど)
・吸物(はも)
・造盛(しまあじ、鯛、鱒、イサキなど)
・焼きもん(若鶏の西京焼き)
・揚げもん(蟹と蟹味噌のクリームコロッケ）

創作和食と自任するだけあって、変化に富んだ料理の数々で飽きない。特に蟹と蟹味噌のクリームコロッケは、衣の分厚いカリカリと中身のクリーミーに蟹味噌の旨味が三味一体となった傑作。
あと、鯛と新生姜の釜飯も、鯛の淡白で上品な味わいと新生姜の爽やかな香りの組合せで、夏バテ気味のお腹に気持ちよく収まった。
料理は創作料理の工夫を感じ、どれも悪くないのだが、酒が飲めないので、ドリンクは注文せず水をいただきたい旨伝えると、ワンドリンク注文は必須で、水だけは困ると言われ、初めに気まずい気分になってしまった。
確かに酒のメニューが豊富で、周囲はお酒を楽しむ人達で賑わっていたが、予約時にはわからないことなので、ワンドリンクオーダー必須なら、予約時にハッキリ通知すべきだと思う。料理は美味しいのだが、飲めない人にはお勧めしない店。
