久しぶりに京都駅でショッピング。お茶をしようということになりました。
京都駅は地上地下含めお店は色々あるところではありますが、コロナ禍対策万全なところがいいということで、ホテル内のこちらを選びました。
伊勢丹側から入ると、和食料亭近辺の廊下を抜けて一階エレベーターで降りてアクセスすることになります。
お店はホテルロビー隣接。至って普通のロビーラウンジですが、各席アクリル板完備でゆったり目のお席となっています。都内でもここまできっちりやっているところは少ない印象です。
窓の外は、京都駅ビルの大階段が見える作りです。大昔京都駅ができた頃は、目新しくて意味もなく登ったり降りたりした気がします（遠い目）。
さて、メニューは季節限定の桃一個まるごと使った桃パフェが推しのようでしたが、ちょっと食べ切れない（コロナ禍もあるので連れと分けるのもよろしくない）ので、おとなしくケーキセットにしました。
ケーキの種類とドリンク組み合わせによって、1800円から2400円くらいのレンジだったと思います。このクラスのホテルとしては標準的な価格と思います。
私は季節のパイナップルとココナッツのダクワーズとハーブティー、連れははちみつレモンのムースブレンドコーヒーを注文。
どちらも夏のケーキらしいさっぱりした風味です。
パイナップルのほうは爽やかな酸味とダコワーズのバター風味、ココナッツの香ばしい香りとがとてもいいアクセントで、サクサク食べられます。ミント風味の効いたハーブティーと好相性です。
あとから思うと、桃のロールケーキも美味しそうでした。
観光客の多い駅周辺、地元民の多い地下街を避け、落ち着いてお茶するにはとてもいい場所と思います。ケーキもお茶もそつなくおいしいし、もっと活用したい場所ですね。
今日は通り過ぎた和食のお店も、そのうち使ってみたいです。
