＜2010年3月訪問＞
先日、半年ぶりに訪問。
今回は夜の訪問。
雨降りの日は、まったくもって空いているのがいい。
夏の週末の夜に来たことのある人は、その込み具合や予約の取り難くさをよくご存知だろう。
でも、まだ春、お花見前の雨の日なら余裕でゆっくりできる。
今夜もミントクーラーを頼む。
そして、料理は、地魚を使ったお刺身サラダ、タコのリゾット、そして葉山牛のステーキ。
こちらでたべるタコのリゾットは、魚介の出汁が良く出ていてうまい。
そして葉山牛のステーキも、赤身と脂身がしっかり分かれていて、
個人的には好きなタイプだった。
こちらは、客層も良いので、いつ訪れてもいい気分にさせてくれる。
＜2009年8月訪問＞
ラマーレドチャヤは、私のお気に入りのカフェ・レストランである。
東京都心に住む私にとって、ここまで出てくるのは時間がかかる。が、この雰囲気の中で、家族や友人、連れと一緒に海を見ながら語らえるのは何よりも幸せな時間である。そんな時間を提供してくれるラマーレは、私にとって大事なお店である。
実はこのマレードチャヤは、KIHACHIレストランをプロデュースしている、熊谷喜八さんが１９７７年から総料理長を務め、一世風靡したお店でもある。当時のことは知らないが、過去７～８年前だけ利用しているモノとして言わせていただいても、とても好きな店である。
たとえば、こちらで飲むノンアルコールカクテルの、ミントクーラー。これなどは、こちらの店でしか作れない。いろいろなバーでイメージを共有して作ってもらおうとするのだが、こちらで飲むミントクーラーのような爽やかな飲み物はできない。また、地元で取れたイワシの唐揚げなんかも本当にうまい。１階のカフェレストランと２階のレストランとでは、出せる料理等もことなってくるが、どちらで食べても満足度は高い。

【2017年8月中旬再訪】
たぶん、2～3年ぶりの訪問だろうか。最近、なかなか葉山にもこられない。
個人的に大好きな、ミントクーラー（ノンアルコール）。
近海の小魚のフライ。
上記は定番。
今回は魚介のアヒージョXOオイル。これもまたうまい。パンをお代わりしてしまった。
ここの白亜の建物は、マレーシアのペナン島のEastern & Oriental Hotelを彷彿とさせるんですよね。
19世紀の頃の熱帯地方の屋敷のような風情。
当時の英国文化を感じさせます。
著名なシェフが活躍したお店。二階のレストランも良いが、海風に辺りながら、一階のカフェで食べるのもまた良し。
（店員さんの気遣いが、もう少し上がってくれると尚良いのですが・・・ここは課題ですね）
ドレスコードは、スマートカジュアルがお勧めです。そういうお客さんしかいません。
