This place has an eye-catching yellow sign. I visited around 12:00 on a weekday. There was only one customer at the counter seat. The second floor seems to be available for 2 or more people. The first floor is small with only a counter, but there are tables and plenty of seating on the second floor. The staff at the front desk and in the kitchen seemed to be from China. Customer service was generally good. The lunch menu I chose was a set of jumbo meat Gyoza / Dumpling, a specialty here, and a large serving of rice. (Large servings are free) The rice bowl arrived in about 10 minutes. Five jumbo Gyoza / Dumpling that are about three times the size of normal ones, mapo tofu, Chinese soup, pickled radish, and a large serving of rice. It's visually impressive as well. The jumbo Gyoza / Dumpling is not only juicy but also has a meaty texture that is very delicious! It has a good kick of pepper, and the texture has a crunchy accent similar to pickled radish. What is it? It seems strangely addictive. Not only is it delicious, but it's also huge. Mapo tofu is greasy, but with Chinese food, greasyness is part of the deliciousness, so it's not a problem. The rice had no smell and was deliciously cooked. This cost 950 yen (tax included) To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but it was surprisingly delicious and I was very satisfied. I feel like these new continental restaurants with flashy signboards were viewed as somehow lower than the long-established town Chinese restaurants, but there are some restaurants that are of a high standard and are working hard. I changed my perception. Maybe it's reasonable because it's lunch, but there are a lot of interesting menu items, so I'm thinking of coming here for some Chinese food in the evening.
