今年の夏、例年に比べ3℃弱気温が高いらしい
しかしソレも、今日を峠に徐々にではあるが涼しくなるであろうとのこと
ちょっとひと安心であります
そんな暑い日に食べたくなるのがカレー
ソレもお茶漬け感覚でサラサラといただけるスープカレー状のものであります
で思い立ったのがココ
横浜を代表するカレーのお店アルペンジローさん
スープカレーがブームになるずっと前から、こちらのカレーはサラサラ
小麦粉を使わず、肉と野菜から取ったスープに香辛料を加えた、旨みと香りが楽しめるカレーのお店であります
お店はログハウス調で、店内には暖炉があったりもして、山小屋的な雰囲気であります
そんなイメージからか、こちらのご飯は飯盒で提供されます
もう何年も使っているのでしょう
塗りが剥げた飯盒からは、お店の歴史みたいなものが感じられます
といっても、その飯盒で炊かれているわけではないですけどね
さてさて、メインのカレー
ガーリックの香りたっぷりに焼かれたチキンは、皮目が皮せんべいのようにカリカリに焼かれていて、身はふんわりとジューシー
そして、ゴロゴロとしたじゃがいもと人参、色目にインゲンが添えられてます
辛さが5段階から選べますので、自分好みの辛さを探すこともできます
ワタシは真ん中の、キリマンジャロと呼ばれる辛さをチョイスしましたが、真ん中＝普通ってモノでありました
ワタシ的には、もう一段階辛いモノが良かったようです
ところで、気温が1℃上がると、1500億円の経済効果が見込まれるのだとか
事実、ビールやエアコンなどの消費は好調で、エアコンの設置に1週間以上も待たされることも少なくないとのこと
この暑い夏が終われば、景気が回復してた
なんてことになったら良いのに・・・
