関内駅近く、店の隣はコインパーキング、
雑多な通りにありますが、
店内は 大正時代より続く「都南貯蓄銀行」の金庫室を そのまま客席にした、趣のある店内です。
早速案内された席の頭上には、
タケウチ製の金庫が壁に埋め込まれており、
奥の個室は 部屋自体が金庫になっているようです。
肝の山椒煮、さほど山椒の香りは強くないものの、 甘いタレと卵黄が絡んだ、弾力のある立派な肝、美味しいです。
鰻は、脂もほどほどで、鰻自身の身の味（魚の身を食べてる感というか）を 感じれます。
山椒は、青山椒。
山椒の香りよりも、後からくる舌の痺れが印象的！
スプーンでふりかける為に、１箇所に掛け過ぎてしまう^^;
お吸い物は、しっかりと出汁をとった旨味！
添えてあるレモンは、蜂蜜が掛かっており、
「鰻で取れないビタミンCをこれで補って頂きたい」という心だそう。
今日のお重は、5900円くらいでした。
うなぎの他、石垣牛なども取り扱っていて、コースもいくつかあります。
奥の個室は、接待で喜ばれそうですね。
余談ですが、この都南貯蓄銀行とは、現在の横浜銀行に吸収された銀行らしいです。
大正ロマンを感じられるうなぎ屋さんでした。
