久しぶりのうなぎをとやってきたのが関内駅近くの割烹蒲焼わかな。
二階の店内に入ると、いかにも老舗の高級レストランのような様相。お客さんさんは、三世代ファミリーやシルバー夫婦連れが多い。外国人は見当たらない。
◯ 鰻丼 ¥4,200 を注文
少し待つと、蓋つきの大きな丼が出てきた。
蓋を取ると蒲焼が二枚、ごはん覆っている。
うなぎに箸を入れるとスッと切れる。それをごはんと一緒に口に入れる。すると、下の上でとろける。これが関東風の蒸しが入った蒲焼きかと思わず懐かしむ。長らく名古屋に行ってきたこともあり、関西風と焼き方の違いがよく分かる。どちらもそれぞれの特徴があってうまい。
この店のブログを読むと、ごはんの量が多いと度々書いてある。確かに、丼ものの大盛りクラスだ。
欲を言えば、ごはんの間にもう一層、うなぎを入れてくれるとなお良しだ。
