直島と岡山へ行ってきました。
２度目の訪問の今回、宿が宮浦港から徒歩１分のところだったのですが、
島について早々、気になる店を発見！
帰るまでに行きたいと思っていたのですが、
着いた日は定休日。
ということで、島を離れる直前に、昼食を食べに入りました。
この店はヒラメ料理の店。
トンカツ、カツカレーもありますが、ヒラメを食べにみなさんやってきます。
調理方法は４種類。
唐揚げ、フライ、刺身、煮付けで、それぞれの定食もあります。
今回３人で行ったので、
唐揚げ、刺身、煮付けの３種類の定食を注文しました。
唐揚げは、ほんのり塩味です、
小さい骨ならパリパリボリボリ丸ごと食べられます。
やわらかい身と、コロモのサクサク感、そして、そのパリパリした食感。
予想以上に味わい深い一品でした。
煮付けのほうは、醤油の味がおいしいあっさり味。
ご飯に合います。
同じような魚なのに、ヒラメよりも漁獲高が６倍ほど多いというカレイは、
煮付けや唐揚げが食卓に並んだり、定食屋で見つけたりする機会がありますが、
ヒラメをこのように食べられるのは貴重ですね。
これも立派な”しまグルメ”ですね～
