この数年、テレビ番組で立て続けに紹介されたため、こちら「土浦魚市場」はいつも観光客で賑わっています。昔は市場関係者や地元の方々の溜まり場だったのが隔世の感があります。
春休み中の長男・小学生を連れて行きました。「パパ腹減った！マグロ食わせろ！」とのこと。「じゃあ、土浦魚市場でマグロ食べるか！」、そして注文したのは「市場スペシャルうにのせ丼」（消費税込¥２，０００）です。とにかく大盛り、食べ盛りの男子向けです。
わが家の長男は「写真撮るから待って！」が聞けずに大きな生エビを食べてしまったので、こちらの写真に巨大エビが載った姿を想像してください。
場所は常磐自動車道、桜土浦インターを下車して約３分の距離です。筑波山登山の行き道、帰り道におすすめします。
