『以茶伝心』 丹精込めて育て上げた"茶"を相手様に喫していただくことにより真心を伝える
放香堂という屋号は安政5年(1858年)に松平家より頂戴した名前で、
時の徳川幕府にもお茶を納めていました。
古きを温(たず)ね、新しきを知る。
かつて使っていた茶箱も今は本店の装飾の一部となっています。
放香堂という名前は変わりませんが、
変わらぬものと変えていくものを過去から学び、
真心を今に伝えていきます。
