所用で岐阜県多治見に行く事が有り、
その時に「梅園菓子舗」に寄って来ました。
多治見市新町に有る1916年創業の和菓子店です。
日本経済新聞「おいしいどら焼きランキング」で、
全国第6位に選ばれたどら焼きで有名なんだとか。
お店に着いたのは13時過ぎ。
店舗は小さいのですが、
引っ切り無しにお客が訪れます。
人気店の様ですね。
私は、どら焼きと最中を購入。
栗羊羹も買いたかったのですが、
そちらは売り切れでした。
どら焼きは、枚一枚を丁寧に焼き上げた生地に、
砕いた栗を沢山入れた粒餡とバターをサンドしてあります。
販売してから不動の1番人気なんだとか。
でも、どら焼きにバター使うなんて反則っぽいですね。
食べてみると、確かにバターが効いています。
確かに、美味しいとは言えるのですが、
私が求めるどら焼きでは無いですね…。
最中も美味しかったです。
こちらは奇をてらわない正統派。
香ばしい皮と栗の風味を閉じ込めた粒餡が良いですね。
お茶が欲しくなる様な甘さも気に入りました。
