Kurosaki is a fierce battleground for yakitori. It’s been a while since I last saw Yo-chan today. I visited by reserving a seat on Tabelog. There are many chabudai tables in a large area. The menu includes a wide variety of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) dishes, including yakitori, edamame, salad, fried chicken, and fried octopus. Ordering is an analog but reliable method where you write on a pouched menu with a water-based pen. It was empty at first, but after 7pm, the number of seats increased and by the end it was full. After enjoying the Showa era atmosphere, I headed home.
