Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that opened in July 2019, about a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Kashiwa Station, and I tried it out on a weekday night. The restaurant has 8 counter seats, a few tables, and a few tatami mats. I arrived around 9pm and there were only about 3 other customers. The menu includes fresh lamb Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate), Grilled skewer, Fried Skewers, oden, sashimi, and more, all at a reasonable price range. There was also a 1,000 yen welcome set that included 100g of raw lamb, an appetizer, and a drink, but since this was the third place I had eaten that day, I didn't get any thanks for the meat, so I just went with oden instead. I had Fried Skewers. For the oden, I had daikon radish, egg, and shirataki. None of it was bad, but the egg in particular was good because the flavor was soaked through to the inside. The 3-kind Fried Skewers assortment included extra-thick asparagus, lotus root, and quail. The asparagus was truly extra-thick and filling, and it was also wrapped in bacon and was delicious. I think it's a convenient place to visit since it's close to the station and has an atmosphere where you can feel free to stop by.Thank you for the meal.
