「鮨 くまくら」は、恵比寿駅西口から徒歩5分ほどの場所にある寿司屋です。大将の熊倉氏は、銀座鰤門などに所属されていました。また、お店は一斉スタートではなく、好きな時間に訪れることができます。
この日は、平日の19時30分に予約して1人で訪れました。
店内は、メインのカウンター席に加え、完全個室、半個室のテーブル席もあります。
メニューは、用途によって使い分けられる2種類のおまかせコースが用意されています。

「マグロ頭肉磯部サンド」は、TBSの人気番組ラビットで紹介されたスペシャリテ。脂がのったマグロの頭肉とパリパリの海苔が相性抜群でした。
「フグの白子の小丼」には、白子の他に海苔の佃煮とトリュフオイルが使われています。風味がよく、クリーミーで柔らかい白子が美味しかったです。
にぎりは、「マグロの中トロ」からスタート。上質な脂が口のなかですぐに溶けてなくなる一貫でした。
また、「マスノスケ」は、ほどよく脂がのっており赤酢のシャリと相性が抜群な一貫でした。
大将をはじめ、スタッフの方は物腰が柔らかく、リラックスして過ごすことができました。
