僕はユーゴスラビアとポーランド系のアメリカ人の父と日本人の母の間に生まれ、アメリカで育ってきました
母が日本人だったことで、小さいときから日本語学校に通い、二つの文化、二つの食文化を経験することができました
大学3年までに南カリフォルニアで平和に暮らしておりました
アメリカに住んでいても、和食も食べ、牛タンやお寿司やすずめの焼き鳥やうどんや蕎麦
こちらは私の好物であり、後は、お魚、ピザ、パスタ、天ぷら、焼き鳥、日本酒
大学4年生は京都で１年留学して、京料理を体験しました
そして、現在では、東京で社会人として住んでおります

食べ物が大好きです。
特に和食
僕は日本の全部の県に行くことが夢であり、一つ一つの食文化を味わいたい。
京都に行って、初めての京豆腐を食べ、豆腐とまったく違う味だった
でもそれは本当の豆腐
そのときから日本の全部の県を知りたくて、一つ一つの文化や習慣や食文化の違いや特徴を見たい。

I was born and raised in California, USA
My father is Yugoslavian-Polish American and my mother is Japanese.
Since my mother was Japanese, I went to Japanese school every Saturday mornings.
Even though going to Japanese school, my Japanese wasn't that great. I still practiced daily as my mother wanted me to speak Japanese to my relatives when I go to Japan with my family. Learning Japanese and the number of times I had visited Japan made me want to learn more about Japan, its history, and its culture. I basically like everything but one thing I am very strict about is sushi.
Then I studied abroad in Kyoto for a year in college and that's where i met Kyoto tofu. Tofu is famous in Kyoto. Honestly I wasn't that of a fan of tofu but when I ate Kyoto tofu for the first time, it was something I've never had before. It was very delicious that it was so hard to describe. I was speechless. I thought that you only can find this in Kyoto. That's when I realized I want to go to every single prefecture in Japan and see each culture, history, food, and its special characteristics. Now I work here in Tokyo but I try to spend time going to many different places here in Japan and try to spread the great aspects about Japan.
