I went by car. I went to Shin-Shimonoseki to pick up a friend and drove to the store together. I took the train to Shin-Shimonoseki Station and it was within walking distance from there. (I think it takes just over 20 minutes to walk from Shin-Shimonoseki Station.) 995 meters from Shin Shimonoseki. |

I visited for lunch. I ordered tomato Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle). Don't underestimate this tomato Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle). The dipping sauce is a fusion of seafood-based umami broth and tomato acidity. The noodles are medium-thick and have no particular flavor, and go perfectly with the dipping sauce! For the final dish, I put the cheese rice that comes with it into the dipping sauce to make risotto. Sprinkle some grated cheese and black pepper on top and you'll be in heaven. It's not on the main menu, but please give it a try.
