Remarks |
As of July 6, 2010, the restaurant name has been changed to "Okinawa Healthy Longevity Cuisine Kaito." |
I used it because it was a place where I could have lunch when I had a chance to work on Saturdays and Sundays and take weekdays off due to the coronavirus pandemic. I think I've been there 4 or 5 times, but I've never had a particularly unpleasant experience...The reason I'm writing this first is because Google Maps doesn't have a very good reputation. (The reputation of a store that stays open until the morning depends on the morale of its customers, but it seems that stores that stay open until the morning at this time of year are also looked at with disdain...) (from 16:00), I was often the only customer, so I didn't even feel like I was there, and I felt comfortable because I could use the large store by myself. Well, on the other hand, the service isn't perfect, but it's at the level of a regular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) (the staff member has brown hair, but I don't mind it, and he's a pretty good cook). So, what makes this place special to me? Of course, you can enjoy Okinawan Cuisine, but the wide variety of awamori makes it even better. I think there are about 20 brands...I tried to drink 3 types every time and conquer them all, but I'm still only half way there lol I always eat that awamori with typical Okinawan Cuisine, with strange names. I try to order as many dishes as possible, but the standard ones are like this: Sea grapes, Bitter gourd champuru, Island tofu I've been to Okinawa about 3 times, and I've confirmed that the food here isn't that different compared to here lol Transportation costs I even think ``Isn't it good'' because it doesn't take much time? Lately, I haven't had any days off on weekdays, so I haven't been able to go there naturally, but it's nice to have an Okinawan Cuisine restaurant nearby. The 10 types of awamori I drank were: Zanpa Shiro, Kikunoro, Dawn, Beautiful Hometown, Maruta, Yonaguni 30, Kumesen, Yaeizumi, Tadaka, Sekifuku, 4th time, Umibudo 580, Mimiga Ae 480, Okinawa Mozuku and Asa Kakiage 480, 3rd time Umibudo 580, Deep-fried island tofu 380 Mimiga chips 480 2 times Sea grapes Beef tendon ponzu 380 Shima tofu tofu 380 Mimiga chips 480 First time Tebichi fried chicken 580 Agu sausage 580 Nadofu Hirayachi 450
