[About 3 minutes from the north exit of Nishi-Ogikubo Station] Provided with friendly customer service! Enjoy authentic Nepalese Cuisine ♪
[Asian Spice Bar The Big Nan], where you can enjoy authentic cuisine in a casual setting, is a restaurant specializing in Nepalese Cuisine that is loved by the locals. We offer a wide variety of set me |
Cherry blossoms bloom quickly when the weather gets a little warmer, and then quickly scatter. I thought the cherry blossoms bloomed just last Wednesday, but now the petals are falling at my feet and they are turning into leaf cherry blossoms. Today, to enjoy the cherry blossoms for the last time, we will go around Zenpukuji Park and then walk along the Zenpukuji River to Nishi-Ogikubo Station. As I moved away from the river and near Nishi-Ogikubo Station, I remembered how I used to come here by bicycle when I was in junior high school. Come to think of it, this used to be a bookstore, and as I was reminiscing about what my friends from middle school were doing these days, I suddenly came across a guide to Indian Cuisine. I entered a narrow road from a wide road, and after walking a little further, I was sure to find an Asian restaurant. It was past 3:00 pm, but I went in because I was told that I could order lunch until 5:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. As it was Sunday afternoon, there were no customers. The staff, who are obviously not Japanese, bring us water with a smile. There are many types of curry on the lunch menu, including not only mutton and chicken, but also several types of saag curry. Select the set (1,155 yen excluding tax) where you can choose two types of curry. As usual, the curry is saag chicken and mutton curry. Drinks are also free, and this time it's strawberry lassi. The restaurant seems to be run by a Nepali chef. The television was not playing Indian music, but a professional baseball game playing against the Giants. The salad arrived first. And before I had to wait, I was served a large naan and two types of curry. Saag curry is bright green and makes you happy. The naan was so hot that I couldn't hold it in my hand. Just made fresh. If you tear it up and eat it, it will be soft and chewy, and it has a strong sweetness, so you can enjoy it as is. The curry itself has a taste that has not changed in particular, and has a strong, rich flavor. Saag curry tastes a little sweet. It tastes just like matcha. It comes with one piece of chicken tikka, and the one from this shop is a bit spicy, with plenty of flavor and color throughout, and a unique aroma of spices. Very delicious. When I asked for a second helping of naan, the naan arrived large and so hot that I couldn't hold it anymore. I'm the only customer, but it seems like the food is baked on the spot rather than being prepared in advance. There were no customers other than the delivery staff who entered the store to pick up the items. After a while, the staff started having a late lunch in a corner of the store. It's so nice and makes me smile. Although it didn't have a particularly unique taste, I was satisfied with the fact that it was a properly prepared dish. I paid, but it seems that Suica can also be used. It was surprising. It's cloudy outside. It is very close to Nishi-Ogikubo Station.
